Hi, I'm speaking from 6 months in the future. I didn't know this was even a possibility, so it's good to know. Although it does seem like Maxus could have offered pre conditioning via a simple software solution without adding any significant costs. I would be interested to see any reviews on the later models and with bigger battery packs If you get the opportunity to review one of them, and I'm quite keen to know if the radio was ever improved. I think this van shown is the one I bought. It's going well, by the way. I'm driving to and from work at massive cost of £10 per week. Just like it used to be when I was 17 years old.

Hi mate. Ive noticed that as well. I think that the car also only lets you run the heater while charging if it is getting enough juice from the charger to spare. When ive been at 50kw chargers and In below 50% initially it wont let me run the heater just the fans. A little while later you can run the heater or the aircon. A little while after that you can run all of it. At home I now just run a small electric cab heater to pre heat it. Only really need to do thar below minus 10 as like you say the heater is pretty good. Below minu 10 it struggles to get the van warm but will clear the windscreen. Im going to put a small diesel heater in the back. Not exactly green but nice have as I work outside all year and the car is the only heat I can get. Cheers Paul Sweden

Good to know, thanks. Yes a diesel heater is a good idea. Not green, but they really don't use much fuel at all. I made a video about one fitted in an ENV200, see ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CHkNLAfTcfg.html

Perhaps you could set up the charger app to stop charging at 75% (or 95%). Then, potentially it would be able re-start charging and still draw from the grid whilst pre conditioning?
