Jayden Daniels is absolutely blessed to have a mentor like Marcus. Someone who knows both the joys & the cut-throats of business and can prepare him mentally for that reality and how to succeed in such a competitive and sometimes toxic environment. I only hope and pray with this new Ownership that Jayden gets a fair shot, has the right pieces built around him to be able to win the games, and doesn't get blackballed by his team or the NFL like Marcus did.

Best backup by a mile... should actually be a starter. Mistreated since entering the league. Never had any stability, too many OCs/systems. Also happens to be the best human and teammate in the league. Ask anyone who has played with him.

I was surprised how well MM played. it was very pleasant to see how he got the rust knocked off in the 1st half and then did a very good job running the Offense. Feeling a lot better if JD has to miss a game or two at some point.

8:00 dude our old regimes defenses would always be doing that. DB's sitting 8-10 yards off the line. Safeties playing 20 yards back. I mean our defense this year kinda was doing that week 1 and 2, but i remember thinking for years why does our defense keep doing that. Washington finally doesn't look like those old teams!

I've heard it said the 2nd most important position is BU QB. MM fit in seamlessly when JD was injured. Is he the best BU in the NFL? It will take more than one game against a dysfunctional team to answer in the affirmative but MM looked good.
