If he can make it to and impress in summer league he has a chance to make a roster. Probably will need to work his way up through the G league, if he's lucky maybe he can latch on as a 2 way player. Classic pure point guard. Kind of reminds me of TJ McConnell. Like McConnell, he's tough, has excellent vision, has good strength and body control which enables him to be a better defender and finisher around the rim than he'd look like he'd be and is a great on-court leader who looks like he'll be a coach after his playing days are over. Might squeeze out a few years as a role player off the bench if he finds the right fit.
We'd have to see his defense and lateral movement to make a real good judgement. So far all I know is he has a good handle and he could find open guys. That's not enough.
xMasterxSniper He played basketball at Notre Dame, it’s a senior only event for college basketball players. He just finished up his senior season, check him out, very solid point guard.
I say it depends on team but with his ability to shoot the rock and the current wave in the league of space and play, he will get a look fo sho; his defense needs work though
He’s like patty mills mixed with tony Parker how he penetrates the D for easy dimes or tough lay ups , definitely a NBA player and I’m a Louisville fan and he gave us hell the last 4 years
He is alright, idk if anyone noticed but he doesn’t go left at all... he had an open lane going left multiple times but chose to cut court to finish on the right... the time he couldn’t drive going left he pulled up... He’s a good player but I’m not sure is he’d be NBA level...
@@osamaali198 exactly Tony Parker. People talking like hes patty mills or barea but barea really aint that good. And mills can only hit the 3 sometimes, dont sleep on Farrell though man he can pass , get to the rim, hes very smart and can shoot the 3 alot better now. Tony parker is one of my all time favorite Points too and its a great comparison they play the game very similar but MF attempts more 3s
@@chrishoward1378 I try and critique guys styles as respectful as possible like these overpaid analysis were comparing Ingram And Durant Or Dante Exum And Kobe Jordan Clarkson And Derrick Rose 😂 I try not to dumb comparisons like those bozos
Everyone who’s sayin he prolly can’t play in the NBA needs to look at Patty Mills. These two are dang near Identical. He’s got a shot, smooth with the handle, gets to his spots, and makes the needed passes. Just because he’s under 6’3 doesn’t mean anything.
Dude is nice... he will def get a chance on someone’s summer league team. If he gets picked up by the right team I could see him having a chance but he needs to stop jump passing that shit doesn’t work in college or the nba. Usually leads to turnovers.
NBA? Maybe in the future but rn he gotta got those moves tighter and be a bit more raw. All those moves have been seen and have answers for in the NBA. The guy is skilled but he has to take it to the next level so he could get that contract
Except, Farrell would beat all of those "random" gym rats u play with lol including u. Farrell will make the league eventually, hes like a poor man's tj mcconnell which aint bad at all. But farrell is a better 3ball shooter and a better passer tbh.
Jimmer Fredette is averaging 50 ppg overseas and cannot get a serious NBA JOB, so I doubt this guy ever has a chance over Fredette. He will get on an overseas squad for sure, nothing wrong with that...
Jimmer just a shooter and he aint nothin like the shooters in the league, Farrell got a better shot at the league than him with his quickness and offensive ability but aint nothin wrong with an overseas contract i agree
Could def play in Europe or Italy but I don’t see someone from the league taking a chance. Not like he’s any worse than vanvleet and he plays for Toronto lol
Great Jump-shot, very good change of speed, and excellent vision and passing ability. He could be a good man off the bench, kinda reminds me of Patty Mills.
