Last time I was at Donut Man, there were swarms of bees in the display case. I still bought a couple donuts but it was very gross. I'll have to check out this 6 dollar taco. My top price point is 4 bucks. But that was carnitas at Cinco Puntos in Boyle Heights...and basically one taco is in itself a whole meal...for my wife!
The beef is even better at 5 puntos. Their nopales are the best anywhere. They are slightly spicey with a pleasant acidity and not slimey. Their corn tortillas are hand-made, too.

The tacos looked so good! I would love the peach donut. Peach Season here is usually august into early September, depending on the weather. Good to see Linda too! Until the next adventure ❤❤
Mmmm...looks very different, but they sound delicious! Plan on stopping at the Glendora store for donuts on our drive up to Vegas in October. When will you be in Hawaii?

Tacos did look good but at 6 dollars a taco…. I don’t k ow about that. In LA there are dozens of very tasting tacos places that specialize in different meats. Like for example Leo’s taco truck they have some of the best trompo ( al pastor) meat. Thanks guys

The beans and potatoes are a genius move from a financial perspective. Make ‘em taste great, and you’ve got yourself an unnoticeable advantage. I currently can’t afford to buy this, but I can most definitely replicate on a daily basis for less of a fraction of the price 😅 #grateful #MaybeOneDay 😊

I’m not a fan of Villa tacos I think there are way better tacos here in LA and a lot cheaper over priced and over hyped. Go try tacos Los Cholos the quality and flavor are amazing.
Seattle does not have any Michelin starred restaurants because people here will eat anything. There are no gourmets. There are no chefs. There are line cooks. Chicken Teriyaki is gourmet here. Generic cuisine is gourmet here.
