After hearing talk with the Raiders insider like the idea of a developer of talent having very bright coach like Patrick Graham but I also think Kafka could work but please no combo of Dan Quinn and Chip Kelly thought turns my Stomach.

Um I love your content, but I don't think it's accurate to say the Hawks will have their pick of candidates. At least not between McDonald and Johnson. People just don't seem to understand that the guy has to want to come here. It is entirely possible, if not likely, that Johnson goes to Washington and McDonald is convinced to stay in Baltimore. It really comes down to Harbaugh. If he says he will retire soonish, then McDonald will probably stay and take over as coach there. I'm praying it works out that we DO get one of those two. But it's far from certain one of those two will be available.

I think it's ben Johson or Mcdonald, and we're just waiting for one of them to be done with their playoff run. If we wanted Quinn, as media reports are saying, we would've hired him by now.

I think if JS was going to hire Dan quinn or one of these others they have had a second interview with then they would have done it already. I think the longer this takes the better Macdonald looks honestly. I would clearly take Ben Johnson but i think he is Washingtons

lol it’s funny Mike Kafka had one bad year with the Giants and that’s what people look at honestly it would be a great hire. Nothing he could do with all the injuries the Giants had ( including Jones and Barkley ) he had a great 1st year with the Giants though. And pretty sure he’s helped Patrick Mahomes as the Chiefs QB and passing game coach. So I don’t understand why people have a problem with him!!

Makes sense, the shortest path to success in the nfl is get a great QB and then head coach who knows how to use that QB, and nobody can poach them from you as long as you pay them well 😁👍

Kafka is NOT my favorite option, and at this point we have many options, but having said that I didn't like it when they hired Pete Carroll and that ended up working out ok after all so...what the bleep do I know. I guess I just have to hope Schneider knows what he's doing and gets it right. It does seem that, since at this point we don't have much competition, it would be worth waiting until we can talk with the other candidates.

Does it though? They have pick #2. Way more cap room. Plus additional picks from trading sweat and young. And our 'better' roster has no LB'ers, the best dlineman is a free agent, a bad oline, only one expensive unproductive TE on contract, and two unproductive overpaid safeties.

They should never have fired Pete. This was going to be our big jump year like when we went from 7-9 in 2011 and then 11-5 Russ's rookie year 2012. This team is young at key positions and would have gotten much better with his tutelage. Bring Pete Back!!

She just fired one of the best coaches of all time.He turned 5th round pick Sherman into the most well rounded corner of all time. Turned hot head Earl into the best free safety. Kam Chancellor was too slow to play safety in the NFL supposedly. Turned homeless person living in his car in Canada (Brandon Browner) into Pro bowl player. Now let's look at quarterbacks Matt Leinart, Mark Sanchez, Matt Hasselbeck, Tarvaris Jackson, Russell Wilson , Geno Smith and Drew Lock have all played their best football under him. Michael Bennett was undrafted and look at what Carroll did with him. They shouldn't have fired Pete. People that say our 9-8 record isn't as successful as our 9-8 record last year should look at the difference in schedules. 10 of our 17 games were against playoff teams. Compared that to 6 playoff teams the Packers faced and they got to play the Rams with Brett Rypien at quarterback.
