Today I'm checking out if Call of Duty: Modern warfare 2 (2022) is worth your time and money in 2024! Let's play and talk about this game now that two years has passed since it was released, and Modern Warfare 3 has now been out almost a year. Is MW2 a good game, or should you play MW3 instead?
Funny this video popped up. I just recently started playing MW2 the other day. Not only do I like the maps better but I am so sick of the crap with 3. I swear there is skill based aim assist. I got really tired of having a person completely in my sights, take the shot and it goes through them then I get melted by his AR. One game I can't hit the broad side of a barn and the next game I'm a laser. MW2 doesn't seem to have this as much and my games are a lot more consistent. Maybe it's all in my head and it's just that all the hyper-sweats are all on MW3 but whatever it is, I'm kinda enjoying 2 more than 3 right now.
Nice to hear that you're having a good time playing some MW2! Yeah, even though MW2 and MW3 have similarities, they still differ. What you're experiencing might be a combo between what you described, meaning mechanics or algorithms, in combination with MW2 being a bit more chill compared to MW3 nowadays.
Is it worth it? No. They completely abandoned multiplayer, ain't even updating game playlists. It's hella good to play if u have it but definitely not worth buying. Is it worth to go for MW3 / BO6? Hell no, Call of Duty is the same shit every year; 365 days of support and they cut it off entirely. Sadly I had to spend that $70 to learn how much of a crap this brand has became.
Thanks for your feedback! Yes, it's unfortunate to see how fast Activision's games gets "abandoned" when it comes to support. Which also makes it easy for cheaters to roam around..
Your'e welcome! I don't always do that when it comes to requests, but I felt that it was a good timing since I haven't played Cod for some time. If I have to choose one multiplayer out of the two mentioned, I guess I would go with the newest after all, which is MW3.
SBMM has only made it so i cant play cold war or MW19 in australia anymore. Which idk why its so strict because having a bad ping in COD makes it virtually impossible to compete unlike other games with longer TTK and more choices in general. if i was gonna grab MW2 i would have to do it just for campaign because i cant trust the MP surviving long down under : (
I think if u don't have time or less money then u should wait for black ops 6 as it looks good from trailer and stuff and it will release only in 3 months and it will also be go pc gamepass

@@40splishsplash it fights back at you whenever you weant to do something, that's the best way to describe it. you want to run? fine, but the whole map hears you, you want to shoot your gun? good luck seeing past your weapon smoke, you want to shoot while you move? yeah right... all the weapons run on the same setup because the rec oil is 1000x then previous games... SKILL BASED MATCH MAKING... you want to run and then shoot? take 1 day off from work... you want to quickscope with anything that can kill past 100 meters? take 3 days off from work... as always infinity ward had a vision for the style of game they wanted to create and they've created it. most people didn't like it, they told them, and as ALWAYS infinity ward ignored them. they have a long history of this, and it's about time they get called out for their bs

Although MW3 is a copy and paste more or less when it comes to MW2, they did fix things that I believe should have been in MW2 from the start. The movement overall is one thing. On the other hand; a lot of people are now waiting for BO6, myself included :)
