I miss the old cods, where player models would have a style relative to the team, so easy to identify enemy player models. Like even in mw2 I would often not shoot enemies because they would align with allies that would be behind walls
That’s honestly the biggest and only thing pushing me away from this game. Especially when it comes to CoD’s newest season 6 skins. I just don’t wanna see that stuff lol
Biggest problem is the fact that Mw3 exists with completely different maps. Activision have fucked up as bad as Xbox naming their consoles. This is DLC that was planned for Mw2 and it's being sold as a seperate game. So basically £70 for an identical version of the game prior. RU-vidrs need to let this franchise die. Isn't even aimed towards the OG players anymore.

I don't care what CoD says I have no trust in them being able to make a good CoD. I haven't enjoyed playing any CoD for more than 6 months since BO3 and I have a feeling that they will find a way to ruin this as well
I think they should assign the tac stance toggle to the right stick and have it function the same way as hybrid sights, and just not have it available when you have a hybrid sight equipped. Either that or allow hybrid sight toggle to be moved to D Pad swapping it with the tac stance toggle. I think the problem with it isn't its usefulness in gameplay but how hard it is to hit the d pad while moving. I'm not typically changing hybrid sights mid-gunfight but i would actually like to be able to switch to tac stance while strafing around a corner.
I wish this was a free update for MW2, or at least a $20-$30 add-on. Its obvious the devs do not know how to design maps, just ripping old maps takes hardly any work besides a graphical upgrade. Hope to see some original good maps.
I wonder if we will get a health bar when aiming at enemies, I like seeing how close I was to killing someone if I lose a gunfight, was in cold war I think
I use tactical stance for pistols for the much needed mobility when i need to be fast paced and accurate... i have to admit its saved my ass a couple times, i use tactical stance currently only for sidearms though as it just doesnt make sense for AR's and other types of weapons.
Cx9 is back I love that gun,do silencers keep u off map ....I can't valence they didn't fix spawns, I played them but didn't play them alot as I wasn't a big cod guy like I am today
I’m giving it the benefit of the doubt as a placeholder so they can either keep tweaking or not yet reveal the actual in-game optics. I had high hopes with the Operation 627 demo optics, I’m hoping that they stay consistent.
Black Ops 3 had the perfect solution for identifying friend vs foe. Enemy character models had the dim but visible red lights on there body which made it super easy to tell who was who.
I like that they've added a couple of streaks from Black Ops 2 with the Mosquito Drone being a version of the Hunter Killer and the Guardian device. Used to love throwing Hunter Killers back in the day. If only they took another page from the Black Ops 2 book and put in rolling scorestreaks so you can earn multiple in the same life
What I'm hearing is that Next Year Is Supposed To Be A Black Ops 1/2 Reboot That Takes all the best of both bo1 and bo2 and combine them. Hopefully They Do And DON'T FUCKING FUCK IT UP BEYOND ALL RECOGNITION.
Watching some MWIII gameplay footage made me realize, they were so lazy with this "new game", that they didn't even bothered to change the announcers from MWII 💀
9:55 it also doesn’t help that there’s operator skins again. You can have the exact same skin on both squads a La black cell where every season there was black and gold skins. It’s not like you’re navy seals in wet suits vs opfor who were very distinct from each other
Don't forget the sillier stuff like superheroes, celebrities, movie serial killers (I know it's just operators cosplaying but it's weird seeing Jigsaw or Leatherface), and the Vanguard skins especially (anime, neon masks, etc). Skins and shit are more important to these guys.

I hadn’t heard anyone else mention this but, playing the beta today I used the Bas-B a majority of the time, and specifically on the map Estate, I kept having the same thing you showed where the bullets just don’t register at times at all with that gun. I was hoping I wasn’t the only person to experience this.
I'm cautiously optimistic about this one. It feels like they're addressing a lot of my gripes about MWII, but the strict SBMM is still a giant killer for me. I got so tired of having to have like three coffees in me to play like the sweats that were jumping around with the same five guns.
@MYNAMEISFOWNER I would like to say the same but considering they will carry OP guns with 5 attachments from MW2 + all the cartoony skins I think it'll get tiring very quickly. Plus the zombies mode it's just the DMZ map with some objectives, not round based zombies like in the previous Call of Duty's. I think the game might flop from the start but let's just wait and see.

Could be fun for just a hipfire build in general I would say. It may not be worth toggling but if you tighten up your spread and get extra speed from it, it could at least be fun even if not that practical
The one thing I noticed is how all of the new weapons kinda look off imo. I think it’s just because they have that Vanguard look to them, especially with the optics. I’m curious how it’ll be once we’re able to use the MW2 weapons alongside all of the new ones.
Just like Vanguard, 50 optics and only 5 useful ones. And yea that optic looks the same as from there. Popular because of the low obstruction of the frame.

Thought it looked like an airsoft optic, one of those "low profile, lightweight" things like the Grace Optic (look it up, basically the same thing but different frame).
My biggest concern is, and likely always will be, matchmaking. If it wasnt so awful, I'd likely have at least 3x the playtime. Its just not fun playing against Iredescent sweats as a silver trolling with dumb setups. As a kid, i played CoD like 6 hours a day, and now i play like 6 a month.
We got map voting back so happy about that I don’t know why it took them so damn long to add it back for years it took so long to add back to the game I’ll play multiplayer a lot more now for fun rather than just using it as a leveling up system
I haven’t bought a COD in around 4 years so obvious reasons… I wait for like a month after release to see if it has potential. People need to stop buying COD every single year. See if it is a good game before buying it

The gameplay, the gunplay, the weapons , the maps . ..map voting, mini map is back the movement, all looks absolutely incredible and fun ........ but then i remembered sbmm will likely negate all these positives and make it borderline unplayable
@@centralbasedagency9334naw, i played a lot during the open beta. It is not a good substitute for COD. Map design was bad (good aesthetic but bad gameplay) and the movement/gunplay is not as smooth as the COD franchise. It'll be a good game for some, but it isn't going to dethrone the king.
Tac Stance is actually a really good option if you can toggle it quickly in the right situation. In MW2019, walking while ADS significantly reduced your footstep audio, at the expense of really slow movement. If tac stance reduces footstep audio, I’ll def be using it when stalking an enemy, especially if I’m not using the lower footstep audio perk
If you are on controller map it to your left stick click and you can quickly switch on the fly which can make a real difference in close quarters fights when you need to rotate quickly without spraying bullets everywhere
@@Raudursus I use the middle knuckle on my thumb to toggle the down d-pad button original mapping while keeping my thumb on the stick pretty easy but I’ll try this out. What do you do for sprint?

SHG confirmed via a tweet a while ago that they'll use their spawn logic (close to the OG games) and not the IW logic. But spawns can't be and will never be good at the launch of a game. It is so complex that they need to have more datas about how players play the game, which lines do they take, which pace they're playing the maps, where will they camp the spawns and so many other parameters ! Spawns are really not that simple to implement and set correctly in a MP game. But I have faith in SHG, cause they have a good team working on this aspect of the game (as they did with vanguard and WWII) and because they said they'll use an algorythm close to the OG games and not the current IW garbage one.

I am really concerned that MW3 being made up entirely of MW2 maps at launch, I am concerned that it will quickly feel old. I hope the maps for post launch is a better split between old and new. (2 new and 1 classic is the minimum we should get)
True. But a good thing to note is that the first 6 dlc maps are gonna be brand new. 3 for season 1 and 3 for season 2. But after that yeah I agree. I hope it’s a 2 to 1 ratio as well at the least. But at least we will Have 6 brand new ones by season 2. That’s pretty good imo.

Love hearing your insight because you can tell you're a true cod veteran. I forgot about the calling cards with the notification panel and it's true that brought a way bigger sense of community and need for the grind when you saw the few ones that would move/look super cool and made you want to fight that person more often, or add them to ask how to get it.
Why grind when you can just buy? calling cards used to be for bragging about achieving something now it's bragging that you got $15 out of your mums purse while she wasn't looking
Some of the biggest items for me are not addressed here. SBMM, prestige and progression, map voting, time to load/play, nukes? The original MW2 was very different in many aspects, the maps alone can not bring back the "fun" factor for me. To be honest the fun was : Overpowered weapons, spawn trapping and killing, nukes, killstreaks, noobs, glitches, boosters, 360 no scopes etc etc .. ah those were the days.
Packetburst on LAN I can only imagine how bad the connection will be during normal gameplay. They needed to revamp the entire game not build off MW22 which has the worst connection/desync/hit rego/lag compensation out of any call of duty to date
Hope Treyarch's next game, are gonna bring some of that Arcady fun back into the franchise. And change the UI, and hopefully when i boot up that game i won't be greeted by WARZONE. Or a Warzone Picture when i try to play another game. Just my opinion
The only thing that matters to me is that they are still charging us full price for a game which will have 90% of the content locked behind the pay walls of bundles and season passes. I am not supporting the micro transaction greedy plague these developers have become. There is no reason to charge $80+ for a game that sells nonstop bundles and season passes. Warzone is already free to play and multiplayer needs to be free to play as well. I’m standing for what is right. No change will happen if ya’ll continue spending your money and supporting the digital theft of these companies.
This game just looks copied and pasted over something else… They dont care about the community, they only care about the money they make knowing people will always but the next CoD every year
Matchmaking is by far my biggest turn off of sbmm, as a mainly solo player sbmm affects me in my opinion a lot harder. I tend to join in lobbies that have 3 or more players that are in a party, which puts me at a real disadvantage. I can hold my own and go positive, but my win/lose is crap... id love a mercenary moshpit or just a solo's game mode, for us lone wolves.
Yeah same. It's not how it was back then because you could just solo queue and do whatever you want but also still win. With sbmm so cranked you're practically fighting with your hands behind your back solo queuing, which sucks.
I can't actually see what I'm shooting, TTK sucks. I'm so disappointed it doesn't feel like Call of Duty it feels now just like another FPS like those others. Almost has a XDefiant feel which I really didn't like.
Yeah i never really had a hard time noticing the difference between enemy players and teammates in MW2 or MW 2019. I haven't played this game yet, but just watching you play it almost does seem like it's very faint. I don't have very good eyesight to begin with so that'd be even more of a problem for me. Which is why I never understand how some players can see enemies all the way across the map. Like how did you see that guy?
That's why this game is so bad in the first place There's nothing apparently in this game that couldn't have been a patch for MWII months ago but they are selling this as a premium COD for full price, when they didn't even changed the UI or anything else than maps, perk system, weapons and that new aiming mode that apparently is useless
I actually prefer the old maps, they feel like they have a much better design than the maps they make today. I like everything I've seen about MW3 so far, I just hope SBMM doesn't ruin it for me
I think that's nostalgia talking because they've had some great maps and not so great maps. Same with the old map, they have some great maps and some very shitty maps back then. I think you'll learn that when you play. Hopefully the movement will change how some of these maps are played.

The audacity to call this a new game. Its a 0.x update. No name tags either means its yet another game for corner campers and people with the darkest skins they can find.
Tac Stance seems like a very solid option if you like having a longer range scope on your weapon without needing an optic that's a hybrid sight. It's essentially point firing your weapon. Probably more useful in Warzone and if they have ground war in this. I can also see it being used on snipers if they have the option so you can point fire up close where a scope would be awkward.
I feel it will be easier now with dead silence because at least you can run around the map without some sweaty nerd listening to your footsteps with hes xXxUltra_Gaming_Headset_420xXx cranked on MAX and reacting the second he hears you from 69 meters.
Overall Im surprised at what Im seeing in the Beta and I might even try it out. But I’m sticking to my convictions and wont be purchasing any more COD’s.
I don’t have a problem with this feeling more like a MW2.5 because as you said, it had good bones to it. I do think a change to the UI would’ve at least been a nice visual change though. Aside from that, it is kinda disappointing to hear that the tac stance is pointless. I would like to see them optimize this feature to make it more useful

Rn I've largely had fun in the beta unlike mw2's. Tac stanced micro uzi is a blast, being able to gangsta hold a sidearm is hilarious. The bolt action ak needs to be removed, useless gun. Although 1 real gripe is the ttk is way to long, back on the 150hp bs. I also noticed the issue with the Spear/Bas, my guess is somehow some attachment is breaking alignment
xDefiant feels, looks and plays like a scrapped COD prototype from 10 years ago. I wanted to enjoy it but it feels like a Black Ops 3 clone made by an indie studio in 2015.
I'm hating what I've seen so far. Doors in MP like TDM. Makes sense for "reality's sake" in Warzone, but not 6v6. The epilepsy-inducing smoke flashes with weapon firing. At the very least, make it an attachment that mitigates or eliminates that crap. They did it with the Black Noir Chimera PTW bundle. No muzzle smoke or flash, which is why it's my primary runner. And in contrast to your opinion , I'm actually appreciating the small notifications, and wish they'd do the same with xp and rank up notifications as well. Can't count the times I've been in close and hectic battles, replating or reloading and listening for cues to whose around me, when the ROCK AND ROLL guitar solo comes in (🎸RANK 452🎵 🙉) multiple times overwhelming all my headset and gets me killed! I have to sit like a camper in a corner until that shit is over, and who knows what cues I've missed in the 20-30 seconds it takes for that crap to stop going off. You get the rundown at the end of the match. Don't need it blowing up my audio mid-match to F me UP! There are already so many options to turn off. Seems like this could be another. "Do you want a band to play when you rank up one level, or would you rather just see it at the end of your match?". Pretty simple, huh? CoD keeps dropping the ball on simple shit, which is why we're not buying the next one (me and 5 buddies). Also, if disbanding is a thing AGAIN, CoD from now on is hard PASS. They tried giving us the ILLUSION of choice with asking us if we wanted to stay with our team, but we already had the REAL choice before disbanding. If I don't like it here, I can CHOOSE to leave the lobby. Right now, it's an L and a PASS for us. Hope they learn before XDEFIANT. That's where we're headed and hoping for. Love the content, brother. Wish the game was as good. 🤘

I think they need a more subtle way to tell enemies apart from allies. Making allies visible through the walls would be best. Just get rid of the diamond. I play smoke and therms, and its annoying being shot through the smoke all the time by non-thermals, just cuz they see the diamond over my head past the smoke
Unfortunately it also means you can't take on multiple enemies that well, assuming you didn't surprise them. It takes too long to kill other players, and if they're both shooting at you, you can't really do anything, so killstreaks without luck are gonna be a lot harder. Not to mention the fact that you'll basically need to spend an attachment slot on a bigger magazine just to have the same number of kills per mag as in previous games. Idk, I don't mind a higher ttk, so long as there's a skill-based method of killing people faster, like headshots. Though if I recall, in CoD the headshot multiplier is really low, in other games with slow TTK (Like Planetside 2) the headshot multiplier is 2x, so instead of spending 7 shots to the body to kill, it's about 4 to the face. Almost half the time.

Positioning still matters with slow TTK, but fast TTK can reward whoever shoots first (especially campers) and means you have less time to react and move. Fast TTK helps lesser skilled players, it's why Infinity Ward prefers it in their games.

THings keeping me from buying this overpriced DLC: 1. SBMM ,it not likely that they took this out 2. Only remastered maps on launch, especially if they plan to launch with ranked play in mind 3. Zombies (its treyarchs thing) 4. And finally it looks too much like mw2, they didnt even have a full cycle to make mw3, they just changed some visuals and slapped mw3 on the cover
