The “portal frame” is thought to be the heart of the skulks, and the entirety is a singularity(this is just my thoughts). I believe the some form of illager (villager, Pillager, that sort) was trying to make something powerful that they could teach and control, hints the red stone contraptions. After creation, they worshiped it and even sacrificed others, making it bigger, which explains the candles. Also the frame looks like the warden.

@@KyleGK01 the goal im sure is to look plain. not everything is so cheerful, lively, beautiful in our world , they'll probably go a different direction than "yet-another-dimension-biome-update"
Bro you can hatch it yourself just take it to the end and make four crystals. Place them around the bedrock nest and put the egg in the middle. Dragon spawns fully grown.
@@alessiaperrotti8488 its not cap,it worked for me once. You uave to place 4 crystals then put new crystals on the towers. Then it will shoot lasers at the egg and you got another ender dragon
If you say it like that they might as well update the sculk* cities as they are already a few months old. The villages were updated in 1.14 and work fine now. What else do you want in it? *Edit: mistakenly said end cities, changed it to sculk cities (as obviously end cities are way older)
They said that they weren’t going to ever make a dimension, but the portal is most likely reference of a past open dimension, one where the warden came out
They said they weren’t going to release a new dimension any time soon until every other dimension is good enough to not have many bugs or are just updated well enough to the point of not needed many updates soon
I think it would make more sense for Mojang to update the end before adding a whole new dimension. The end has been a barren waste land for so long and really needs biomes, another structure, and some more mobs. The end is supposed to be very challenging so if they add those it will make the end a difficult place to live or go in. They will probably add the dimension in a couple of years, maybe two or three updates from now.
The Warden is already the most powerful beast in the entire game. Trying not to summon him is already a challenge. Imagine trying not to summon him when there are infinite sensors and shriekers in the possible deep dark dimension.
@@nobody4552 I would have to not just make a wool farm, but expand it tremendously. Then I would have to afk there so I could get at least 2 shulker boxes of wool. Then, I'll have to search for a mountain biome so I can find a city.
@@ZombieN8YT its not really that hard as wool farms are automated, compact, and cost basic resources. id say its a very very cheap exchange as the warden will not bother you. + you could just make even more farms while the wool farm is running and its not really needed to stay 2 blocks near the sheep farm.
I'm pretty sure they said that at first, but now they've started claiming that they might potentially add another dimension once other things have been dealt with. Considering they've been releasing lots of heavily requested updates in Minecraft (eg. better overworld generation, a cave update), they might go on to make another dimension. Also, it's 1.20, which could be considered a milestone in terms of update numbers, so it would make sense if they'd been waiting for that number to unleash such a big idea.
I think adding a dimension is too much and personally if they add one, it won't feel vanilla anymore. Might as well make Minecraft2 or something where dimensions, items and or mobs lores are accessible/exists inside the game.
@@theepsilon-921 they should make a dimension update where they add 2 or 3 dimensions 1 being the skulk dimension and update the end and probably add ores like enderite
Disc 5 serves as a warning to what would happen if we do open the portal. This reinforced deepslate portal can't be opened like a nether portal, it would be cool if we either needed a special item or had to do some extra steps to open it. If we do get another dimension, we may have to wait for a while.
@@deleteduser442 and why would a disc located inside a city, near something that looks like a portal frame with its own unique blocks reference the nether portal lmao? Doesn't make any sense, makes way more sense that it was at some point a portal and the warden came through it infecting the city
@@deleteduser442don't think you're listening chief, I never said it was a portal that can be used. I'm saying that lore wise it's how the warden made it to the overworld, Mojang has said they'll never add a new dimension LMAO
Fun fact: the new disc implies that minecraft had a war as you can hear sirens blaring and heavily armed soldiers walking as well as the warden and the wither
Well with the nether update they added everything they promised and Mojang from the hate the wild update had, they will most likely not promise as much or show as much.
Be happy with what you have, neglected games like tf2, the titanfall franchise, or the PvZ shooters are fucking ecstatic if the devs name drop them, and would literally kill for half the update that the wild was, so count your feckin blessings.
Imagine if the story behind the warden was that he was one of the people who lived in the ancient cities, and the portal was an experiment to a new dimension that failed and skulk spread all over and infected one of the people and turned them into the warden, and the warden tries to hunt you in fear of the portal being reopened. The name warden implies this even more because a warden is sort of like a guard or watcher

I believe it is simply a statue as well But I do partially believe that maybe mojang considered a 4th dimension but later changed their plans which could explain why the small statue was originally named small_portal_statue in the files before 1.19 was fully released
The dimension would probably be a cursed dimension where the warden actually ends up being one of the weaker creatures and there's godlike beings 1000 times stronger than him
I dont think its just a dimension maybe theres a boss like ender dragon if that boss died maybe the boss have good loot maybe and thats why warden protects portal
I want it to be a new event called the skulk invasion, because we already have two bosses, two non-overworld dimensions, but only one event, the first event being the pillager invasion, the pillager invasion is closer to the overworld but like a reverse version of how things work like the nether, but we don't have an event that's alien like the end, Soo I prepose a event called the skulk invasion
If u place that "not destroyable block" in creative and then switch to survival u can actually mine it (I used netherite pickaxe and a lot of time) My version is bedrock
Matt made an interesting video suggesting the builders got the warden into their dimension to protect them from the wither since you can hear the withers death sound shortly after the teleport
there is a block in minecraft china (bedrock edition) that is the same as reinforced deepslate, but with a slot, similar to end portals. it's very likely leftovers from portal experiments they forgot to clean up.
Within the next couple of years I plan to apply to work for Mojang. If I get accepted and get in a position that would allow me to, I'd love to suggest this sculk dimension. Earlier today I already had a sudden though of a dimension I might make as a concept just like the allay originally was for years. I can definately fit sculk into my very vague dimension idea. Man it would be so cool to help create a new official dimension for Vanillia Minecraft And to have my name in the credits
The music disc is pretty interesting. Skulk wasn't a thing until very recently, so knowing someone (other than the player or villagers) created and lit a portal releasing it into the overworld is cool. I'm pretty sure mojang has said that Dungeons and regular java aren't necessarily in different realities and may be the same world/time
