I was a 3rd generation Mormon but wasn’t actively attending church for about 15 years but never thought I would actually leave and disassociate from the church. The Covid vaccine response from the leadership clued me into “they’re lying to us” and started me on a deep dive in which I found the inconsistencies. I happy to report I’ve accepted Christ as my savior and have been attending a non-denominational Christian church ever since. I’m so happy and pray that my family’s hearts will be softened and they will also see the lies as I have. But even if they don’t, I’m here to stay. I’ve found my tribe!

As a doctor, how could he claim the vaccine was “safe and effective” when the trials had not been completed? Also he’s a total globalist, very involved with the UN. His personal autobiography “From Heart to Heart” first edition page 48 from the 1979 says he was in the Skull & Bones his junior year in college at the U of Utah which did have a chapter there at that time. The problem with that kind of thinking is that you’re limiting God. Where does it say that God can’t bring forth other scripture? It says it no where in the Bible and that whole “add to take away” thing in revelation only applies to the book of revelation.

When I was a Mormon, I never read the Bible because had too many other scriptures that needed to read. I’ve been reading the Bible and in Matthew it shows us the right way to pray to God in The Lord’s Prayer. I always felt that what I did was never enough to gain my Heavenly Home. Remembered my sins because I was thought that if I forgot them then God forgave my sins. It was a torture. Now I know that by Jesus Christ dying for me all my sins are washed and I am clean. I suffer no more. Thank you Jesus for you Love ❤️
I was raised Mormon as well and just found Christianity after a long spell of rebellion from the damage Mormonism caused. I remember almost NEVER being encouraged to read the actual Bible and only told to go to d&c and pearl of great price. I was blown away when I started reading the Holy Bible and seeing how much simpler everything was! I’m so glad you know Jesus and I thank him for delivering us and so many others from the false teachings, shame and confusion that Mormonism brings.

My grandparents were both Mormon and fully believed. My great grandfather was John D Lee, he was very close to the founder of the church Joseph Smith and Brigham Young. The LDS church never felt right to me, it felt more cult like. I feel like the generational curses followed our family and I intend on breaking them.

I was raised Mormon for 4years up until I was 13. Vlad is right on with the Mormon beliefs. My parents went through the whole temple ceremony at the Los Angeles temple. My brother and I went with them and were shown around the building. We even took the elevator all the way to the top room where they talk to God. According to the guide. It is a heavy load they put on the woman in that religion. The suicide rate for women is very high. It is work based and impossible to achieve for a true honest believer of that religion. Such a heavy yoke and then in the end find out you have been swindled by Satan or some fallen angel has to be terrible. There are a lot of good people there that don't know better if only they would just read the bible they would see it is false. Jesus said my yoke is easy and my burden is light. That is because what HE did is all we need to be saved and the fruit of that is what produces good works through us for the FATHER'S glory. It can't get any better than that it is the most precious gift of all redemption! Praise HIM.

I was born in the Mormon church in Hong Kong, I pretty much followed all the commandments. But after I attended many times of the temple ceremonies, I felt so wrong doing this deep in my heart. Then I started to look for the history of the ceremony, it ended up this ceremony was copied from the Masons.....
Joseph Smith was a mason who swore to keep the secrets of the masons. Three weeks after he became a master mason he incorporated there secret rituals into the temple. He pissed of many masons when word got out.
And the Masons took it and tried to preserve it from the ancient prophets and temples of the old and new testament. Who took these ordinances from who? It was a restoration of the true church.

I am LDS, too. I have watched more of Vlad’s videos than I can count. This video was disappointing. If I love my Savior Jesus Christ with all of my heart and am building my life around following His teachings, WHO can say that I am NOT a Christian? He is the very source of joy and peace that I seek. I have joined this channel for the same reason others do- to grow stronger in my faith of Jesus Christ. Vlad, please know your audience. There's a long story behind this but I'll just say this much. Round about 25 years ago, after some "investigation" as they call it, i joined the lds church. Bear in mind, I'd gotten saved 6 years prior. A year later, God pulled me out of it and told me, almost word for word that the Jesus they worship is not the real Jesus. Not trying to start a debate with this and i won't engage in one. I'm just saying what God told me. To add along to what's said in the video.

What's funny is that their heretical book has been disproved when Smith mistranslated the Book of Abraham. You can compare his false translation to the translation by modern day Egyptologists. They do not match up. Case closed.
The case is not actually closed. Most of what Joseph smith had was burned in a fire and the remains that are left were specifically not translated by Joseph smith. Even if the translation is not accurate to the papyrus this does not explain how Joseph got right that Abraham was known for astrology and that human sacrifice was being performed in Egypt at that time since neither of those details were known at the time Joseph translated the book of Abraham.
I'm so happy that the holy spirit revealed this to me. I great up in a Christian home and as an adult I met some Mormon Missionaries and after about 3 encounters I was convinced to join the Church me and my 3 children. Through the years I have become inactive for about 15 years now. The Holy spirit have been working with me and I have not returned to thier Church. They seem to find me all the time but for some reason I don't give in . The Holy is now Speaking through the ministry of Vilad . I'm so thankful to the Lord for This Revelation.
god bless. The Jesus of the bible is not the Jesus of the book of Mormon. Mormonism is different - it teaches a different Jesus than the Bible which Smith falsely said was corrupted. Mormonism is more like Islam where another false prophet (Muhammad) came along and said the bible was corrupted and he had his new revelations fixing it - the Quran. Mormonism teaches their church is the only true church on the face of the earth. Their doctrine teaches all other churches are an "abomination" and are "of the devil." Joseph Smith History 1:18-19: "My object in going to inquire of the Lord was to know which of all the sects was right, that I might know which to join. ... I was answered that I must join NONE of them, for they were ALL WRONG; and the Personage who addressed me said that all their creeds were an ABOMINATION in his sight; that those professors were ALL corrupt..." 1 Nephi 14:10 “And he said unto me: Behold there are save two churches only; the one is the church of the Lamb of God, and the other is the church of the DEVIL; wherefore, whoso belongeth not to the church of the Lamb of God belongeth to that great church, which is the mother of abominations; and she is the WHORE of all the earth." (emphasis added) The Bible states many times in various ways Jesus would never let the gates of hell prevail over his church leading to a total apostasy (Isaiah 40:8; Psalms 100:5; Matthew 16:18, 24:35; 1 Peter 1:23-25). How could this statement be true if Jesus’ Church ceased to exist for almost two millennia? So any church who claims the Church needed to be restored from an apostasy is not a part of the first Church which started long ago in Jerusalem at Pentecost. Given the Mormon church claims a complete apostasy, it cannot be traced back to the original church. Jesus said in Matthew 18:16 upon this rock He will build his church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it. The rock is Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 10:4; Romans 9:33; Psalm 18:2; 62:6-8, 78:35, 94:22; 2 Samuel 22:2) and if the church ever fell into complete apostasy as Mormons claim, then Jesus would have been made a liar. The Church is the body of believers in Christ and we are likened to a temple in 1 Peter 2:5 “Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 12:27 “Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.” This means people do not need to be members of a particular church, denomination, or group, but need to be born again and repent and accept the free gift of salvation in Christ. Exmormon Christian here. Looking back now as a born again christian, the thing I find most deceiving about Mormonism is how they teach about priesthood. They make such a convincing case that there has to be a “modern prophet” guiding a “true church” and that the prophet needs to be a part of God’s inner circle to guide us. Because they’re so legalistic and speak so strongly against drinking and premarital sex, it actually leads to a more successful life than the average dude and then they attribute that success to them belonging to the “true church”. It’s super hard to convince them of anything because they believe the Vatican took a lot of important stuff out of the Bible and therefore they know more than you because they have the “restored” gospel. They become so hard in their hearts just like the Pharisees in Jesus’ time. It really is only the spirit that can convince them. Convincing them by showing them scripture is so incredibly hard to do. Most of my family is still active Mormon and I just keep praying that God opens their hearts like He did mine.

@@anticlimacus6236Yes, there are many verses in the Bible that are mistranslated and are often misunderstood by mainstream Christian churches. That is why a restoration was needed. In the LDS church we have the Book of Mormon and other latter-day revelation that helps shed light on the Bible.

Thank you for making this known to us. I always wondered why Mormons were so different yet they say they believe in Jesus Christ and that he is our savior. Just the fact that they carry a King James Bible and even a Book of Mormon but do not preach the actual doctrine should be a red flag for anyone, including Mormons. I actually know a family who are Mormons, one of their daughters used to play with my daughter in Kindergarten. They were kind and giving people. I was beside myself the day I learned that the wife and even her mother and father converted from their Christian faith, probably Baptist or Protestant. This would mean they had to give up their belief in the one true God (God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit) One Triune God. It’s a rejection of the true faith in that Jesus is the Way the Truth and the Life. I pray for them. I’ll pray more, knowing more about Mormonism. It sounds like a cult. Joseph Smith was visited by some demonic being. Of course Satan would want God to be lowered, saying He was Adam and blah blah blah. What a horrible thing. I pray God have mercy especially on those who were falsely led before even knowing Jesus.

There are SO many anti-Mormon videos out there, mostly made by people who are not even Mormon yet they think they have the knowledge and authority to teach people all about our "evil ways". It's so ridiculous. And they all repeat the same misconceptions I read in the anti-Mormon books I found over 40 years ago in CHRISTIAN book stores, when I was first trying to learn about the LDS Church! I took time to learn the truth and I wish others would as well. You say that Mormonism "sounds" like a cult. Have you read the Book of Mormon? Have you studied, pondered and prayed and asked God if it is true? Another book I read all those years ago is "A Marvelous Work and a Wonder" by LeGrand Richards. He explains the DOCTRINES of the Church, why a restoration was needed, the Bible verses that are often misunderstood by mainstream Christian churches, etc. I highly recommend this book!
Being "Mormon" myself I know for a fact that Adam is not God in the flesh. The church never once taught such a thing nor ever will. Even now the leaders do not teach such things. This was a blatant lie to disparage against the Church. And sadly this fellow either intentionally omitted facts or is ignorant to the truth and never did his own research of the facts. This much I can testify is much of what was said in this video are lies and don't bear an ounce of truth. I can break down every step in this video and expose what was expressed in each point of the falsehoods shared. It's not particularly hard to do so, it will take more time than I can spare at the moment. My advice is, go to a more reliable source.

The Bible itself says, "Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment." - John 7:24 . Studying the Word of God gives plenty of valid opportunities to critique the teachings and practices of Mormonism. Mormons do a great job of presenting the outward appearance of holy people, but they reject the one upon whom holiness is found and worship a false image of him that Joseph Smith invented. If he wasn't visited by a demon, then most likely he was drunk or high on psychedelic drugs when he came up with all the many, seriously flawed doctrines that permeated the LDS both in the past and today. . So until you're ready to point out specifically where the "logic is wrong" and back it up with the Bible, I reject your claim as groundless. And yes, this comment is full of judgment, but it is not my personal judgment. Rather, it is the judgment the Word of God in the Holy Bible, pronounces on the false doctrines and teachings of the Mormon church. Mormons worship a false god. They should stop immediately, repent, and turn to the true God of Christianity. This is straight from the Bible, not from me. I'm simply bearing the message faithfully.

LDS member here, who what you guys call Mormon! I just wanted to say that most stuff here is true but not true at the same time! My friend from another church had came to me showing me this exclaiming about how she is spreading false information about my church! Every Sunday, we go to church. Our church lasts 2 hours. The first hour is sacrament meeting! That's when 3-4 people give talks about topics that they were given by our bishop! Before the talks, we take the sacrament. We focus on hor Jesus was resurrected, unlike most churches who focus on him dying for us! We have 2 books, The Bible and book of Mormon! The Book of Mormon is a series of prophets or just people who like had experiences like Nephi and Moroni! At the end, I believe Moroni challenges us to pray to Heavenly Father, not Jesus, about the book of Mormon. People assume that we are Mormons because of the Book of Mormon, but we are infact Latter Day saints, which are Christians! Sundays for us are rest days! Your allowed to go on nature walks and watch TV, it just depends on your household rules! Missionaries aren't going to hunt you down lol, they just simply knock on your door to spread the gospel for the gathering of Israel! We pay 10% of earnings to our church to be used to build temples and donate to charity. The founder, Joseph Smith, translated the Book of Mormon and restored the church! Also, there has never been a rule that people of color can't attend our church! Yes, Cane was cursed with black skin for commiting the first murder, but that doesn't mean all people of color are cursed. Missionaries are called to serve and spread the gospel, they don't force anything. You can leave the church whenever you like, but we aren't a cult!
I think the bottom line is anything extra Biblical should not be what we practice. The same applies to catechisms of the Roman Catholic church. They are doctrinally created by the Vatican councils of men and place the pope is infallible. At the end of the day, we have to only go by the Bible, which is the inspired word of God…who is Jesus (John 1) the word become flesh. There has been a lot of doctrinal division lately. I believe this is part of the end of shaking/purification of the body of the Christ/church. However we have to tread lightly not to further division and do the work of the enemy to separate the body. God has showed me that denominations will be dealt with heading into the end times.
I don't hold to any denomination. I think you're spot on. If it isn't in the Bible, we should not be teaching or practicing it as though it were. Otherwise we're teaching as doctrine the commandments of men.

My family gave me a ‘Revised Mormon edition’ but there LDS church. They told me the Mormon is an extension of the Bible and that the small Bridgeway Assembly church that I was going to was a false church or discriminatory to this faith. So I decided to test this theory and took the book to church and asked my pastor 😂 they were never discriminating and simply told me ‘it contradicts the Bible’ And I thought ‘well gods word Doesn’t contradict itself gods word IS life’ So I started studying and turns out I did find lots of information on contradiction and part of that was taught to me at a young age and I didn’t even realize it… 😑 Then I looked at my dads Bible turns out it had extra scripture put into it because it was a John Smith Bible. Scriptures that my King James Bible didn’t have… so I wondered if they were added to further support the Book of Mormon and god warns that whosoever adds to the Bible will get taken out from the book of life. So yea.. got woken to the truth but now my parents are disappointed in me because I won’t read the book now 🙄 What kept me so confused is that this was mixed teachings of Christianity and Mormonism so I never caught the differences until I read my Bible 😮💨

I met 2 young guys in Japan who were trying to get me to read the mormon book and we had a good chat i tried to to show them the word of God trough the Bible and we had a calm discussion but they didnt take my word as a Christian , we still prayed for each other and went out own ways . Did they tell you the story about the guy who turned a piece of wood into a snake and then used it split a river in half after speaking to a bush that was on fire?
Before he passed away, Billy Graham did a weekend retreat with Glenn Beck who famously got his life together after converting to Mormonism. Graham had classified Mormonism as a cult, but after the retreat concluded that Beck did in fact know Jesus. There are def some janky things going on with the Mormon church, but there does seem to be some Mormons who the Lord seems to honor. I don't know what that means, but God's ways are better than mine.
Is that because Glenn had not studied the doctrine and history of Mormonism? I fail to see how anyone could THOROUGHLY study and understand the Bible and the doctrines of any cult (RCC, SDA, LDS, JW etc) and still claim to be a Christian. The person will either denounce Biblical Christianity (as most Catholic apologists, JW, SDA apologists do) or denounce the cult.

Jared, I can say without hesitation that Glenn Beck is not a Christian. On his program on January 7th in 2021, and on February 21st or 22nd(if memory serves me right) Glenn made statements denying the truth of God's word. In essence, he deliberately attempted to alter the Bible and scripture to advance a political narrative he desired. He deliberately lied because he felt the ends justified the means. As such Glenn Beck is a hypocrite and most definitely one who Christ spoke of saying "On that day, many will cry out to Me saying `Lord, look at everything we have done for you in order to serve you!' And I will say to them that I never knew them." Billy Graham is not God, and works of the flesh do not mean you know Christ. Glenn will have to answer for his hypocrisy and deliberate mis-teaching, and the Bible is very clear on what the fate of teachers who attempt to twist or alter scripture for their own ends is.

I am a born again spirit filled Christian but I visited a mormon church once in 1984 with my mormon friend. I challenged her that if I went to her church once , she had to come to my church once. It was such a demonic experience and I could feel the presence of the devil in that big building. The good thing is that she came to my church and got saved a few months after that. She loved my charismatic church and came back tons of times too. She never went back to her old mormon abominations church again. I give all the Glory to Jesus. Heavily. Joseph Smith was himself a Freemason. As were many of his followers. In fact, the ceremonies of their temples closely mirror those conducted at Masonic temples.
That is unbiblical. John 10:30- "The Father and I are one." This clearly shoes that Jesus Christ is God. John 1:18- " No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God, and is in closest relationship with the father, has made him known. Jesus Christ is God and died for us all. Just to clarify that people are not to add or take away from 'this book' refers to the book of revelation. The Bible isn't a 'book' it's a collection of books and that warning was for those who specifically change anything in revelation. Because people HAVE made changes to the Bible, specifically king James and other translations. But all translations should be the same for the book of revelation if they have the fear of God in them.

Toss that book of Mormon in the fire man it's demonology at its finest. No such thing as a celestial heaven and you will never be a God of your own planet. That's a doctrine of demons!
@rebornasdavid The only issue there is that they teach the same gospel. Paul’s warning about false angels implies that there will also be true angels sent to teach. Otherwise he would say reject all angels that come. Similarly a warning against false prophets implies that there will be true prophets. Otherwise he would say reject all prophets who come after us. In order to see if the Book of Mormon teaches a different gospel it must be read. I have read both and believe them to be the same gospel. The gospel is the good news that Jesus was sent by the Father to do the will of the Father. That he died on the cross taking upon him the sins of the world and bringing to pass the resurrection, so that the world would be judged by Him. That all who believe on His name will be saved. See 3 Nephi 27, Acts 2 and Philippians 2

In fact the teaching that you will become a God is in direct violation of scripture that says in Isaiah 43:10 "There was no God formed before me, nor shall there be any after me.". What verse in scripture can I read that speaks of those things? What verse in the Bible says I have to work to earn my salvation? Because Ephesians 2:8 says by grace through faith you are already saved, NOT by works, so that no man may boast. It's a free gift from God! 2:51 When I read the BoM, I was already a born-again Christian and deep set in my faith. One of the annoyances I had with finishing it was that the verses are SUPER repetitive with old English words. In this case it's _"thereof."_ It felt like I was reading biblical fanfiction.
you don't read it in the original. it's had over 4000 changes over the years. originally it had a lot of "folksy" verbiage like "there be a great working" and there were lot of errors and doctrinal changes that had to be made. so even the mormon church agrees with you. the version that you read today is a big improvement over what it started out as.

There is still no true church upon the face of the earth. Zion is ransomed and polluted yet to be redeemed. Joseph wasn't establishing a true church other than promoting repentance as defined by God himself. The church organization stands as a stumbling block for believers, and Christians jumping on the band wagon stumble themselves when they lump the Book of Mormon in with the church. No one ever lumped the Bible in with the Catholic church. The word of God stands on its own regardless of which church seeks to build itself up or put others down through manipulating the word of God.

How much do you read the Bible? Read John 1:14 and John 1:1 very carefully who is the Word? Read all of Galatians. How well do you know the history of your founder? How many wives did he have and why would God tell any man to have more than one wife? What were their ages and what was the time frame in which he married them? What was he actually arrested for when he died and why what crime was he charged with? How many times was he arrested and what was the crime? If God the Father and Jesus appeared to him why didn’t they give him the Holy Spirit? Why did he need a seer stone to translate when the Holy Spirit could have helped him translate just like every prophet/scribe in the Bible? Did he have the Holy Spirit? Why did none of his prophecies come to pass?

First of all, we are NOT Mormons, we are Latter Day Saints and the name of our Church is "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints." Have you even read The Book of Mormon? If so, you will have seen the name of Jesus Christ on EVERY SINGLE PAGE! I've read every word and I believe it. I've also read the Bible several times and I believe it also. The lies about Latter Day Saints that came out of your mouth just totally shocked me as I have been watching you videos for a bit and thought you were a true messenger of the Gospel, and now I see you are a false teacher. The Bible says by their fruits you shall know them. Well most people say that Latter Day Saints are some of the nicest people they know. How could they be so "nice" if not for the hope that is within them? For what you project to the outside is what comes from the inside. You also State that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are one. WE believe that also. God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are all God and the same, yet they are also separate. If they are not separate beings then who was Jesus calling out to on the cross? Himself? That makes no sense whatsoever. Also when Jesus said He'd send the Holy Spirit (Great Comforter) to his disciples and followers, did that mean that He sent Himself? You pretend to be a man of God, yet you ridicule another Church because of what someone else told you. Isn't that the same as listening to gossip and didn't Jesus Himself tell His disciples not to stop other people from preaching about Him and doing good works in His name? Just because someone told you something about a certain group, would you immediately condemn it without a serious investigation? I understand your frustration but as a Christian who doesn’t believe in the book of Mormon, I can say that Christ himself is the saviour we need. I feel like Mormons put a lot of emphasis on traditions and humans do [culture, traditions, and etc.] But I would encourage you to seek the Holy Spirit on these matters. Blessings.
Thank you for your reprimanding response. This video popped up on my feed so I watched just hear what the newest “antiMormon” war is up to. I went to bed listening to general conference messages from 2004. At 5am, the Holy Spirit woke me up to this talk/sermon from Dallin H. Oaks: “Opposition in All Things” from the April 2016 conference. I knew I had to respond to all the false information claimed in Vlad’s video. I mean, talk about the lack of knowledge!!
Well actually on the 10th point "they don't pray to Jesus" Jesus Himself teached to pray to the Father in Jesus name, so thats not necessarily a contradiction.
BTW , I don't see any problem praying directly to Jesus, or the Holy Spirit, even if that's not the example given to us in the new testament. God won't reject an honest prayer directed to His Son or His Spirit. And if you think that God the Father won't "accept/hear" those kind of prayers, please be so kind to explain (scripturally) your reasons. I've even witnessed God answering prayers directed to some of the saints or angels, so ¿how can we explain that? Easy, God sees the faith in our hearts and acts accordingly out of love.

Members of the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints are not like most Christians. However, they definitely believe In Jesus Christ, His sacrifice, and His teachings. The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit are all one God. There is perfect unity in purpose, plan, and action. Though we also believe that the trinity are separate beings, they definitely are not worshipped separately, they are all on the same side with no nuance. Statements made by Brigham Young on Adam being God were largely bold assumptions. I don’t know if it is pertinent to understand the origins of God let alone the mechanical details of how Mary got pregnant with Jesus. Statements like these have been ignored by recent prophets because of their insignificance. The reason the garden of Gethsemane is emphasized as it is in the church is to teach the significance of both Christ’s victory over death and His victory over sin. It’s not to downplay His death on the cross. It’s all included in the event in our minds. From his prayer in the garden to emerging from the tomb it was all our Lord and Savior doing what He came to do. Overcome death and overcome sin. Also, his sacrifice is enough for our sins, His Grace is sufficient for all. Works are required for membership in the church. This isn’t perfect though because you can perform the works of our church without having faith in God. These works are by no means evidence of your salvation because we believe God will judge us based on our willingness to follow Him. We find the works we do in our church to be virtuous, lovely, and reflective of the goodness of God. We want all men to have the same privilege to worship how, where, or what they may.

Doesn't Mormonism teach that we BECOME gods after death for those who qualify? Jesus was speaking to living humans in John 10. They certainly thought of themselves as gods in their roles as judges but they will die, unlike gods.(Psalm 82:7)

They forgot that law by going through all the years of captivity. Jesus was only reaching godhood by being one and sitting on the right-hand side with the Most High. So yes, the Mormons are half right on that issue. God made Judge's gods for the earth. Jesus wasn't supposed to die on the cross if the Jews remembered their scriptures on their own, instead of learning from corrupt scared teachers of the law under Roman rule, who were sitting on Moses's seat.

I agree that Mormonism is a cult but your 10th reason of praying only to the Father in Jesus’ name is a preferential discrepancy that doesn’t make it a cult nor does doing so contradict scripture but supports it. Jesus Himself taught His followers to pray to the Father in Jesus’ name. John 16:23-24

I find this entire video full of assumptions and very little fact. I will encourage anyone who is curious about our faith to pick up a copy of the Book of Mormon; pray to the God of Jesus Christ whom you worship every day before reading the entire book; attend our sacrament meeting; sit down and chat with one of our members; and at the end, if you feel it is not for you then okay, at least you did your due diligence in finding out for yourself whether the church is of satan or of God.

Jesus save me because I’m losing hope. But I’m keeping faith. I keep faith even as I constantly struggle to take care of my children and I’m constantly struggling to buy groceries. BUT I TRUST YOU LORD! My husband died years ago. At times I feel so alone. I’m a single mom. I suffered an heart attack a year ago and I’m battling lupus so my health is failing. Both of my sons are autistic. I praise you Lord even as I constantly struggling to pay rent. Help me Jesus as I struggle to buy my children’s school supplies because I want to give up. I'm just over 2 minutes in and I must point something out that you're not being cognizant off. Off course Paul preached that if an angel appeared and preached you a different gospel that you should reject it. Paul, in virtually all of his letters, and others, warned against false doctrine being introduced into the Church Jesus established. Matt 7:15, 24:11,24 Acts 20:30 2Cor. 11:13 Gal 1:9 1 Tim. 4:1 Titus 1:16 2 Pet. 2:1 I Jn. 4:1 Rev. 13:5, 16:13, 19:20. From reading the scriptures, you would wonder, giving these warnings, how the Church would survive. Well, it didnt. Near the end of his life, while speaking to the Elders of Ephesus, Paul make a dire prophesy that the Church was doomed. He says, 'For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in amongst you, not sparing the flock'. Do you realise the seriousness of this prophesy? To not spare a flock means to totally destroy it. This didnt mean that everybody was going to be killed but the flock, the Church, was not going to exist any more, at least not in the way it was established. And so it was. Jews converted to the Church but held onto their teachings that already had been corrupted by the Pagans, the Gentiles. Other Pagans persecuted the Church and brought their own perversions into the Church like Easter, Christmas, child baptism, praying in a particular direction, attend Church 3 times a day, changing the meaning of the Lords Supper, amongst other heresies. When the Greek philosophers infiltrated the Church they believed that, as University educated Pagans, they knew better than the unwashed and uncouth fishermen, tax collectors and publicans. It was such philosophers who created the idea of the 'trinity' which was first mentioned in a letter by a philosopher called Tertullian around 160AD, 127 years after the Saviours resurrection. The 'trinity' is not mentioned in the Bible and for every Bible verse that could loosly allude to such a thing, there are around 60 verses which speak directly of a seperateness of the Godhead in relation to each other. By the way, in Joseph Smith's vision, the Saviour said 'the creeds were an abomination in His sight'. He was referring to the idea of the trinity. In the Gospel of John alone, there are over 100 verses that show the separateness of Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father. Anyway, let's press on. Between the end of the first century and the start of the fourth century, 100s of christian sects sprang up. We know that offices within the church changed such as Arch Bishop, Cardinals and different varieties of Deacons arose that had no connection with the officers of the Church that Jesus created. As there were no body who could say, 'so sayeth the Lord', many false teachings arose that rendered the Church unrecognisable. The different gospel that Paul had warned against was now well and truely established. In 323AD, things took another turn away from the Church and the gospel that Jesus established. Constantine established the Roman Catholic church that brought church and state together with him, a Pagan, being head of both. He adopted one of the christian sects and purged all the rest. He destroyed them all. So, where exactly was the Church and Gospel that Jesus had established? Where amongst all I have stated could the pristine Gospel be had so as it could be protect from the different gospel that Paul spoke off? It was too late by this time. What followed was 1200 years of heresy after heresy being added to the Catholic church to smother completely any sliver of the gospel that Jesus established. In the 1500s the Reformers arose and each of them created their own gospel that did not equate to their neighbours. Unfortunately, over the years, the reformed churches schismed into 30,000+ different denominations as we see today. The question that I pose is, where is the gospel that Jesus established 2000 years ago and how did it stay totally intact and not be affected by false doctrine, and which of the 30,000+ churches is it? Im sure you will realise this question cannot be answered as christians cannot tell what and where is that gospel that Paul was warning us to protect, from the one that was a different gospel? Let me point out that in Revelations it talks about our day. It states, 'And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them who dwell on the earth, and to every nation, kindred, and tongue, and people'. Rev. 14:6 So, would you reject this angel who you may feel preaches a different gospel to the one you have, which has been mashed up by countless influences since the Saviour created it and today bears no similarity to that which He established? I suppose many of you would. Furthermore, why would an angel bring an 'everlasting gospel' to preach to the inhabitants of the earth if that everlasting gospel was already here? That angel has already brought that everlasting gospel to the earth, relatively recently. His name is Moroni and 70,000 missionaries are out teaching every nation, kindred, tongue and people. Im hoping Vlad can answer these questions. Furthermore, why cant Vlad preach his own churches gospel if it is so attractive and leave others who do not set out to criticise his church, to preach what is good and true about theirs?

The Jesus of the bible is not the Jesus of the book of Mormon. I believe the Holy Spirit wants me to take the time to answer your statement. Mormonism is different - it teaches a different Jesus than the Bible which Smith falsely said was corrupted. Mormonism is more like Islam where another false prophet (Muhammad) came along and said the bible was corrupted and he had his new revelations fixing it - the Quran. Mormonism teaches their church is the only true church on the face of the earth. Their doctrine teaches all other churches are an "abomination" and are "of the devil." Joseph Smith History 1:18-19: "My object in going to inquire of the Lord was to know which of all the sects was right, that I might know which to join. ... I was answered that I must join NONE of them, for they were ALL WRONG; and the Personage who addressed me said that all their creeds were an ABOMINATION in his sight; that those professors were ALL corrupt..." 1 Nephi 14:10 “And he said unto me: Behold there are save two churches only; the one is the church of the Lamb of God, and the other is the church of the DEVIL; wherefore, whoso belongeth not to the church of the Lamb of God belongeth to that great church, which is the mother of abominations; and she is the WHORE of all the earth." (emphasis added) The Bible states many times in various ways Jesus would never let the gates of hell prevail over his church leading to a total apostasy (Isaiah 40:8; Psalms 100:5; Matthew 16:18, 24:35; 1 Peter 1:23-25). How could this statement be true if Jesus’ Church ceased to exist for almost two millennia? So any church who claims the Church needed to be restored from an apostasy is not a part of the first Church which started long ago in Jerusalem at Pentecost. Given the Mormon church claims a complete apostasy, it cannot be traced back to the original church. Jesus said in Matthew 18:16 upon this rock He will build his church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it. The rock is Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 10:4; Romans 9:33; Psalm 18:2; 62:6-8, 78:35, 94:22; 2 Samuel 22:2) and if the church ever fell into complete apostasy as Mormons claim, then Jesus would have been made a liar. In Galatians Paul exhorts our dependence on the word of God instead of founders of movements with additional or restored “truths.” Paul warns not once but twice in Galatians 1:8-9, “But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any [man] preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.” Again, the gospel declares truth should not be determined by teaching from angels or even Paul, but based on whether the gospel being preached is the same gospel that was received (as recorded in the Bible). The Church is the body of believers in Christ and we are likened to a temple in 1 Peter 2:5 “Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 12:27 “Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.” This means people do not need to be members of a particular church, denomination, or group, but need to be born again and repent and accept the free gift of salvation in Christ. Mormons believe in a Christ DIFFERENT than the one in the bible: President Hinckley of the Mormon religion declared: In bearing testimony of Jesus Christ, President Hinckley spoke of those outside the Church who say Latter-day Saints ‘do not believe in the traditional Christ.’ ‘No, I don’t. The traditional Christ of whom they speak is not the Christ of whom I speak.(LDS Church News Week ending June 20, 1998, p. 7) Apostle Bruce McConkie "we worship the Father and Him only, and no one else." We do not worship the Son and we do not worship the Holy Ghost." 1989 Sermons and Writings of Bruce R. McConkie, 60 Apostle Bruce R. McConkie, on page 742 of Mormon Doctrine, says, “God the Father is a perfected, glorified, holy Man, an immortal Personage. And Christ was born into the world as the literal Son of this Holy Being; he was born in the same personal, real, and literal sense that any mortal son is born to a mortal father. There is nothing figurative about this paternity; he was BEGOTTEN, CONCEIVED and born in the normal and natural course of events, for he is the Son of God, and that designation means what it says.” Yet, 2 Corinthians 11:4 says it is possible to believe in a false version of Jesus. At the moment, the Mormon Jesus is eternally progressing, moving up to greater levels of exaltation, along with all the other gods in the universe. But this is not the case with the Jesus of the Bible. The Bible tells us that: Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and for ever. (Hebrews 13:8). If there really are other gods before and after Jesus who are also eternally progressing, then Jesus cannot be the sovereign or supreme ruler over all existence. Contrary to this, the Bible tells us that Jesus (and for that matter, the Triune God) is all-powerful (Philippians 3:20-21), all-knowing (John 21:17), and all-present (Matthew 28:20). Apostle O. Pratt: , “…The fleshly body of Jesus required a Mother as well as a Father. Therefore, the Father and Mother of Jesus, according to the flesh, must have been associated together in the capacity of Husband and Wife; hence the Virgin Mary must have been, for the time being, the lawful wife of God the Father. Inasmuch as God was the first HUSBAND TO HER (Mary), it may be that He only gave her to be the wife of Joseph while in this mortal state, and that He intended after the resurrection to again take her as one of his own wives to raise up immortal spirits in eternity….” The leaders of the LDS Church have also taught that their Jesus was married and had children, and that he was even a polygamist. Again, Apostle Orson Pratt, says in The Seer, page 172, says, “…the great Messiah who was the founder of the Christian religion was a Polygamist…the Messiah chose to take upon himself his seed; and by marrying many honorable wives himself" The true church will never add to or subtract from, but always hold firm in the essential doctrines of Christianity. These being: The deity of Christ (both God and Man); Salvation (eternal life with God) by grace alone through faith alone; the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ; there is only one God (period); and the trinity (Father, Son, and Holy Ghost) are three separate persons in one Being.
You know it’s funny how they crucified Christ for preaching and proclaiming to be Like God. Also teach his apostles to be perfect like God. Also telling them to be one like how he (Christ) and the Father are one. If you lived in the time of Christ it’s the same doctrine you would hear him teach his apostles. Christ came to proclaim that through his way and teachings a man can see the Father and becomes heirs to his kingdom(aka become like the Father”Gods”). If you lived in the time with the Jews you too would crucify him for hearing such an obscured doctrine, this is why Teacher of the law couldn’t stand him. A carpenter from Bethlehem proclaiming to be like God and teaching his close followers the same doctrine. This is why he told Nicodemus “if I tell you earthly things and you do not understand, how is it you’ll understand heavenly things” John 3:12. I’m not saying Joseph Smith was 100% right but that doctrine about Christians becoming like the Father(Aka God) is the same one Christ thoughts on earth.

You think you worship Jesus or Yeshua but he has many false forms, Jesus of religions are often demons. Any cult that looks similar to Christianity but makes up all sorts of its own rules and claims that the Bible is missing information or incorrect, is dangerous. JW is also a cult. Religions or individuals who say, "an angel came to me to tell me that the Bible is wrong, here's the real revelation" are literally cursed in the Bible.
My best friend converted to Mormonism in 1996, which set me on the path of studying it. I wanted to know more and broden my depths of understanding it, (not that I had any interest in joining myself), I just wanted to know why. So I read everything I could find on the subject, pros, cons and everything in between. I came out of it 6 years later with a very deep understanding that Mormonism is whole heartdly false in every sense of the word. I tried for years to help my friend see this, but no avail. She insisted that her religion was right and still tried to convert me, I resisted. And sadly, she passed away in 2005. She was given all the Mormon burial rights within the church structure and I just pray that she's not in Hell for believing as she did while she was still alive. I miss my friend dearly everyday, but I'm afraid that the LDS church led her astray so many years ago.

Back then, I was looking for answers and we didn't have the Internet, of course. Nobody in my family was Mormon and I didn't know where to turn. I had sent away for a copy of the Book of Mormon through the Osmond fan club. I read through it and it seemed to be of God, but I still didn't understand the DOCTRINES of the Church, what made it "different" from mainstream Christian churches and why I should join it. I kept searching, and went to Christian book stores, because I knew the Osmonds were Christian. But all I found were these anti-Mormon books! Boy did that open my eyes. I realised that that Christians have so many misconceptions! They don't WANT to believe, and they just want to tear apart the truth. I kept searching, and finally found "A Marvelous Work and a Wonder" by LeGrand Richards, in our local public library. It was SOO helpful! He explains the DOCTRINES of the Church, why a restoration was needed, and the Bible verses that are often misunderstood by mainstream Christian churches. I studied that book, and the Book of Mormon for over a year, then finally contacted the sister missionaries and took the lessons. I was baptised shortly after having my first baby. Now my 3 grandchildren are in the church!
@@Cindybin46 You are entitled to believe as you want, that's the beauty of this Country and the 1st Amendment, I, on the other hand, believe contrary to that. That is why when I saw this video it interested me and I watched it. What this guy had to say resonated with me because I believe in the same fashion. I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree. @@hippywytch1 It's just so frustrating because I honestly and sincerely replied to you to help you understand that you shouldn't blindly believe a nonmember from the Internet who makes videos like this that I've seen a million times. And then it was like talking to a wall with you! I am trying to HELP you! You should accept my help and guidance. I've been LDS for over 40 years, and this guy in the video isn't even a member and thinks he knows everything. And you guys believe it! And then I bust a gut to help you and you reject it, and then I end up hating everyone. So frustrating. I shouldn't even TRY to help explain the truth because it just makes ME angry and you guys are still all happy!

I see a lot of people posting here about Mormonism and I wonder; do you know any Mormons well? Interact with them? Because the more devout Mormons I know seem FAR further down this path than most other people I know, including myself. When I look at the gifts of the spirit described by Paul, some Mormons seem quite possessed of those gifts. So while some of their beliefs seem,,, indefensible to me, I can’t condemn them. Many seem to bear fruits that are not common among most people, even “religious”, “saved”. people.
