IS MY BLOWDRYING TOO ROUGH?!

Well considering the fact that u have multiple repeat customers, I am convinced that u aren’t rough at all. When u speed it up of course it looks rough. But in real time it doesn’t hurt at all.

I think it looks rougher than it is because it’s sped up. You blow dry like pretty much every stylist I’ve seen/had. There’s no problem with that. Also, I know you didn’t show it in this video but it’s really satisfying to see you first the head protectant into your client’s hair. You really coat and protect the hair. Some stylists are so stingy with product.

When I first saw a video I thought it looked like rough handling and that's because I am very tender headed...lol. After seeing a few more videos I thought, because the video is sped up it can look like rough handling. I am sure if you were rough, those sitting in your chair would let you know. I think you have amazing hair artistry skills and gifted hands and I would let you style my hair if I lived nearby.

You do what's necessary to get the best outcome for blowdrying...when or if your patrons complain...then you simply make the necessary adjustments! Until then do your thang!

Your blow drying doesn't look rough at all, it gets the job done! My question is how do you blow dry the hair with out melting the bristles on the brush from the heat of the dryer. Thank you again for sharing your gift and videos with us! Take care and be safe!

If someone is tender headed and has a problem You could comb the hair out then stretch it with your hands and blow dry. Then go back with the brush to to finish the blow drying off. That way it’s less pulling. But I love the why you do hair, the hair always has so much life.

Some hair textures require a lil' extra tension to get it where you can control it. As long as she isn't flying out the chair, it's all good. Great work! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥✂

No ma,'am. I only wish you lived close by. My first blow out after being natural for 5 yrs was 2yrs ago. The stylist did an excellent job BUT she had someone else doing the shampoo and conditioning. She got to the blow out and did not do sections at all. I had piles of hair on the floor and was traumatized. Too afraid to do it again. I rather have roughness over UNNECESSARY hair loss anyday. I'll hop in that chair in a heartbeat if you come anywhere near me 😆 YOU DO A SUPERB JOB ❤

Just my opinion.. I think a lot of beauticians are 'Heavy Handed' the very reason I do my own hair.. but I was taught to let the hair dry at least 50% before manipulating with a brush during blow drying

It does look rough from the way that it appears in the videos. I've seen a couple of your clients make the facial expression as if it's rough. Have you considered slowing the video down for us to really see if it is rough? Also, do you do and share other hairstyles or just silk presses? Can you start sharing the flat iron temperature you use?

@Janay Mickles, blow drying is hard on the hair because of the pulling with the brush, and from the heat. Have you ever used the blow dryer with the comb attachment, or what about tension rollers?

Look like she has alot of split ends when u was blow drying it. I say that because when I had alot of split end the blow dryer stuff at the ends the way here did. She has beautiful hair and is beautiful 🥰🥰🥰🥰
