I vaguely remember that Royal Bafokeng had previously been looking at membership of UNPO (not an UN organization) - that stands for the Unrepresented Nations and Peoples Organization. In South Africa the "Afrikaners" are members of UNPO via the FF+ (Freedom Front) party. The irony is that Orania is closely linked up to the FF+ party and its affiliates Solidarity and Afriforum in South Africa, which in turn are linked to the FW de Klerk Foundation and also an Open Society (George Soros) funding. Since FF+ joined UNPO, they have ensured that there is no progress towards self-determination (in the UN protocols' sense of the word). Very few Afrikaans people in South Africa even KNOW about UNPO. Ideally UNPO should, to my mind, seek closer ties to the Global South and BRICS+, and use the model of the multipolar world order as their point of departure - and also move out of Brussels and to RUSSIA. The model of multipolar diversity based upon the UN Protocol of Peoples' Rights (not the exact title) should also receive much more attention w.r.t. exporting the model to participating BRICS+ countries, and applied within those countries. The Russian Federation is such an example, as it unites a number of independent republics under one banner, and they all profit from it in so many ways. The "unitary state" idea is a remnant of the artificial nation state of early modernity in Europe, although for the first 3+ centuries it has followed where possible the ethnically diverse model - nowadays its following the unipolar model with only one boss, the US. I sincerely believe that the model of multipolarity, i.e. having a number of independent and self-sufficient states with full control over their own territory and political-economic systems, will turn around states like the unitary one-winner-takes-all SA that is on the brink of economic destitution and political confusion. We need to free ourselves from the stranglehold of the Anglo-American companies, and return to a self-driven, nature-based and self-sufficient constellation of states.

We have no patience for nazism in Africa. We are watching you Dutch people closely. This will never happen.

He was talking metaphorically, but if we were to even just consider it on financial terms: South Africa would be a lot richer if there were a dozen more Orania's. They pay more in taxes than they receive in any sort of government aid or assistance. That goes for the Afrikaaner in South Africa at large. The Afrikaaner is a tiny minority in South Africa, but are one of the only groups that are a net contributor to the economy. Without the Afrikaaner, South Africa will collapse and become as poor as the rest of Africa.
