Very simple: There are usually fewers Akkan lobbies overall because the raid lacks any relevency. - 1580 characters won't do it because it's too hard on ilvl. - 1620 characters won't do it because HM Akkan gives 10 000 golds, when HM Brel gives 10 500 golds. So, for a 1620 character, it's way more relevant to go for HM Ivory (14 000 golds + elixirs), NM Thaemine (13 000 golds + darkfire + 10 ilvl overgear), and HM Brel (10 500 golds + 80 ilvl overgear) - Meaning that basically only 1600 and 1610 characters unwilling to go for on-iLvL Thaemine and Ivory are gonna go for an Akkan run.

Completely agree with you. I still play with a static group sometimes, but due to my schedule I cannot always play with them so I'm forced to pug sometimes. The thing is that whenever I try to make a party, no one applies (my main is 1620, has a +23 weapon, 100 qual, 5x3+1 1800+ main stat, lvl 5 trans on each piece, full 9s, but I dont have 35 elixir because it is impossible to join a hard mode volids because you don't have 35/40 elixir set), and even when I try to apply to any group, even at ilvl, I get rejected because I don't meet their requirements.... Game just turned into a huge lobby simulator. Vairgrys players tend to have lag/mech issues so most people gatekeep them anyways, and the few players left that try to make parties are full of imposters on "reclear" lobbies. For this reason I stopped playing as much, now I barely log in to do my solo dailies, and I dont even do guardians anymore because even at guardians people is so toxic or they song out if there is no high lvl or sup players on MM (pf is a joke because is another lobby simulator). It's sad to see how the game has turned out to be lately.
My friend play an MMO with average 75 player online worldwide (i joined them sometimes too) and i never heard any of them call their game dead !! But for lost ark that only have average 20k player just on west servers , everyday someone on youtube or Reddit call it dead lol
Nobody calling that game dead? Well how about me calling it dead? Because it is lol. And regarding lost ark - don't even look at the numbers, forget about numbers, what is important is that whenever you log in if you don't have enough people to play with you, if you are experiencing uncomfortable delays with PF or MM, if instead of playing the game you're playing a lobby sim, and in order to fix this "to a degree" you must adjust your playtime preference to match the "active" hours of the server, is it not dead in your opinion? What if someone can't change their playtime preference and has to either play during the "inactive" hours or not play at all? Here in the east I can play whatever I want whenever I want, I do see the difference in lobby count during "more" and "less" active hours but I don't need 75 lobbies for a raid to feel comfortable, I only need about 10 per page. And I am seeing it any time I log in. West is dead though. I wouldn't play the game on West if I had to.
akkan hm 10k ivory nm 9k / hm 14k brel hm 7,5k or 10,5k -> (7,5+10,5)/2=9k Im pretty much always doin brell even if g4 is closed, bcs its just chill and fast clap on 1610+ character. Echidna and thaemine are cool, but sitting in ivory g2/4 and akkan g3 jails is rly painfull. 2 raids close to my ilvl and 1 to just chill out and oneshot is a perfect balance for me. Same as it was for example on 1560-1580ilvl. Brel and kaya pretty much on ilvl and kakul on huge overgear just to oneshot 5 minutes skip all with atropines. Right now if u have: 1630 ilvl -> echidna(1630), thaemine(1630), ivory(1620) 1620 ilvl -> echidna(1620), ivory(1620), Thaemine(1610) 1610 ilvl -> Thaemine(1610), Ivory(1600), Akkan(1600) 1600ilvl -> Ivory(1600), Akkan(1600), Brel(1560) Doing 2 raids on ilvl and one raid on 10ilvl overgear on every character is crazy. Chilling and going back to old raids to oneshot them is much more fun if u do 2 raids on ilvl anyway. Even on 1630/1620 every other week u can just go kill brel and skip that garbage ivory, who cares if its like 3k gold diff, but u are saving 30minutes (average) and not risking any jails. Please just dont tell me that ivory is fun, its even worse than kayangel if u dont have premade party. Echidna/Thaemine/Brel is the way for me on every gold character since echidna release.
Some background info (from someone who watches his stream often) miso is infamous in the loa community as a jailer/disband enjoyer which has led to community fatigue and blacklisting. The sudden change in streaming schedule is in fact because his notorious behavior in an attempt to jail more victims. Think people might just have summer vacation and stuff right now. Wait and after 17/7 to really see and confirm if really is 'dead'. Might be huge influx of massive players this coming week.
