I tell people that Africans do not hate African Americans but it's hard to convince someone who hasn't traveled. For most of the part Africans are very respectful people.
Welcome to Kenya guys. We love anyone black. Kenya is the most developed country in East and Central Africa. The internet is the best in Africa so you can build a strong social media presence. Wild animals and sandy beaches 💯👍💪
Thank you for explaining this Auston. I’ve traveled to Brazil, Colombia and beyond. But I have never traveled to any part of Africa. This is telling me so much. I’m gonna head to Kenya.
I have traveled to all the countries you mentioned and actually lived.2 years in Barranquilla Colombia. Was in in Kenya for 3 months but personally I liked Tanzania better. However CapeTown South Africa is more compairable to Brazil & hands down off the charts & my fav.🇿🇦 Thats just my opnion! 🌴😎
Just stay out of villages and have a guard…I’ve visited most African places don’t let them know where your from and don’t shop expensive stuff and carry around alone
I love Africa, as a African American man I wish more of our people would go to the continent. Everyone else is going there. African people are warm, kind and respectful.
For someone who hasn't been to Brazil but has been to the African continent (Tanzania, Zambia, Senegal, Gambia, Malawi, Sierra Leone), You are right. The price points, friendly demeanor of the women, the shyness of Tanzanian women - dead on. I have Uganda and Liberia next up. Also yes, they really get so excited to see a Black person from the West and go above and beyond to be cool to you. I am seeing pricing for apartments in Nairobi for $600 and up in city center which is comparable to Accra, Dakar and Kampala. Easy access to the states Nairobi - Amsterdam - New York 9hrs each leg on flying time. And very modern. 48 more countries to go in Africa. We will see. I am so comfortable when I'm on the continent. Not a worry in the world.Never follow the Fake News. Just go.
You no longer need to fly to Kenya via Europe. Kenya Airways flies directly from New York to Nairobi on the modern Boeing Dreamliner aircraft. It is a 15-hour flight flight with no stop-overs. Your African experience starts immediately you board the aircraft as the pilots and cabin crew are all Kenyan. One of the most senior pilots on the route is Captain Mutungi, a highly experienced pilot, wife and mother.
@@mumbingugi Fully aware of that as I'm in the airline industry. The problem? Not a lot of Americans have made such a long nonstop flight. To start its better to break it up in increments. Hope that makes sense.
@@dwightthementor my first flight to Africa was 11 hours straight to ghana. It can be alot for those who are not well traveled but important for those who prefer non stop.
Auston, if you thought Nairobi was lit you’ve definitely got to hit the Kenyan coast. Beautiful women, gorgeous white sand beaches, coconut palms and just a general wonderful atmosphere of the friendliest people on Earth. As a fellow Black American who has also visited Kenya and traveled extensively throughout Africa try hitting Mombasa, Diani or Malindi next time
He’s at a certain age now where adrenaline iz high, I doubt if the Kenyan coast will excite THAT much, apart from it’s beauty, night life is a bit dead n nothing much to do in the afternoon
Kenyan women In shape yes sir (all of Africa); Tanzanians not be biased but they generally take life slowly and easy some people feel it's lazy but they just take life easy. Im half Kenyan half Tanzanian and i approve this message. And I'm American too, love your content young blood keep up the good work.
Auston, you are maturing in the best possible way right before our eyes!😀 As a Kenyan, I thank you for your very positive views about our country. But you know what? Kenyans are merely reflecting back to you what you feel about yourself. And it is clear that you now feel so much better about yourself coz you look calm, relaxed and happy. As an expert in International Relations, here is my advice to you about travelling to Europe. Until your Brazil matter is resolved, you risk being extradited very fast from Europe to Brazil. Why not instead spend the next year or so touring the rest of Africa? Here, we see you and all black people in the diaspora as our sons and daughters. For now, you are far safer here than in Europe until your legal woes are resolved. Sending you motherly love from Nairobi.❤❤
You might be right ✅️ but European tend to favour Black Americans than Black Africans. Speaking from Germany 🇩🇪. So let him go further with his journey to find his DESTINATION 😊😊
@@joycelinelyimo-fenske8745 My advice to Auston about Europe was ONLY with regard to his legal matter in Brazil. In a nutshell, this has to do with extradition laws in Europe versus most of Africa. Apart from this issue, I agree that he should certainly tour Europe and other parts of the world.
@@joycelinelyimo-fenske8745 I hope so too. We all want the best for Auston. He is very young and yet doing amazing things. He has made some mistakes like the rest of us, and is clearly learning from them. Btw Ich bin eine Frau!😅Ich war in Deutschland und liebte besonders Schwarzwald. Sehr schon!
So true. Young Africans in particular view African Americans as their cool cousins from America and that is why they are very excited to meet you and learn about your lives. In Kenya, foreigners have been travelling here for decades but sadly, very few have been African American. This is now changing and hence the excitement you encounter when meeting Kenyans and Africans as a whole.
@@mumbingugi hopefully that excitement doesnt wear off with crazy AA coming in masse. some will always be excellent but in a large population your also bring the problematic one. and some AA are rude lol soo ( or can be interpreted like that )
I'm Tanzanian, but been to Kenya many times. Also lived in the UK for a while, and have spent quite a lot of time in the US. I currently live in South Africa. For me, the places I am happiest in are South Africa and Kenya. I tried the West and I just missed the warmth and welcoming nature of African people. You definitely need to do South Africa as well. It's a very interesting mix of Western and African. Has the best (and worst) of both worlds, but easy to find the niche you like and will be forever happy in.
Kenya is pretty lit bro. You would definitely love Angola as well if you want to relive the Brazilian experience. Some of the locals closely resemble Afro-Brazilians as b/c of the Portuguese influence.
Nairobi is my best city in Africa when it comes to dating women. Extremely open and friendly girls no problem finding dates even on average photos on dating apps. Well mannered well spoken women different class imo. No problem with the language either which is a big plus
Adids Ababa the women are more stunning for me personally coz im indian and the skin color of the Ethiopian women is very indian like. But they are not as open as the Kenyan women. But if you have excellent photos on DSLR you should have a good chance. Ethiopian women are more conservative imo. Erriteria hasn't been on my radar yet will give it a try and let you know
@@juzrhyme712 In the bigger cities western liberalism is starting to spread. I'd personally avoid those girls they are too progressive. You can get conservative girls in the tier2 and tier3 cities but most of them don't look after their bodies. Girls in india barely do weight training in gym and can be either quite skinny or fat(not obese). Having said that you can find good looking natural women it's a huge country. Good thing is if you happen to find a nice one she will be loyal to you 100%. Cheating is looked down upon in indian society very harshly unlike the west where it is vastly encouraged.
Yep, Kenyan women are agressive when it comes to Men while in Tanzania women are low key because of how they were brought up. They actually feel cheap when they approach men first! I know this cause of my friend is married to one
Let him be! Of course there’s always a better person, thing, or place….no one can see them all in a lifetime. He is mature enough and more exposed in the last one year than a lot of older people.
Auston has just found love in Kenya.🇰🇪 He's head over heels. He's in Uganda but vlogging about Kenya's greatness. Love is a beautiful thing!🎉 Am I wrong, Mr. Holleman? 😎
Problem is that every country you visit you will like many things about it…I loved Kenya…then I went to other countries in east Africa and felt the same…saddest part of the trips is coming back home to the US😢
Hell yeah, thats why I've based myself in Nairobi. Been all over East Africa, been to Brazil as well. I also love Brazil but at the end of the day...they speak English in Kenya and thats a big plus. Spent a month in Uganda and I love the vibe there too. They also speak English and the country is beautiful. Need to go back there and check it out more fully. But for now...Kenya. Oh as far as Tanzania knowing English, thats primarily only in Dar and Zanzibar. As soon as you hit the interior...good luck.
@@joycebrown47 Oh I loved TZ and despite the fact that it's really only in Dar (and Zanzibar) that you can find English spoken commonly, Dar was my least favorite place. I dont know, I just dont really like that city and I've been there a few times. It 's all broken and run down in many areas. At night theres not many lights and the streets are busted up making it very easy to trip or step into a pothole. I call it Dark Ass Salaam at night. Yes it can be challenging in the interior of the country but theres always SOME people that can speak enough English to get by. Had no language issues in other notable cities like Mwanza and Arusha but the small towns and villages...forget it. Some people will even laugh at you when they hear you speak, and blow off an opportunity to make money simply because they are too ignorant to want to bother to understand what you need. This happens a lot with taxi drivers in smaller towns (no ubers) and even in the capital "city" Dodoma.
@@cryp4life509 English has never been our emphasis in school even though we learn it from grade 3. There's more emphasis on Swahili. Kenya has more emphasis on Swahili than on English. I'm a language lover and would love to master all the languages that are exposed time as opposed to going by the structure that the govt determines for me.
@@davidngwesa I understand that fully. In America we dont learn any other languages in elementary school. Once you're in highschool you might (depending on the school) get taught another language. But by then and at that age most kids arent interested or find it more difficult than younger kids that can grasp a new language easier.
@@cryp4life509 My son lives and studies in Kenya. He is 7 and in grade 2 right now. While his is better than a typical Tanzanian kid's (in fact better than most Tanzanians'), his Swahili is not what's considered standard in Tanzania (or in the Kenyan coastal region). So, when he visits Tz he is laughed at coz he talks funny (to them)
I've been to Nairobi and Mombasa twice, I love the country and it's people!!! Mombasa is a real vibe around November/December times, definitely go there one day if you have the chance
This is surprising especially because of how beautiful the beaches are in Brazil. I spent one month in Salvador Bahia and just living in a beautiful luxury Airbnb right on the ocean made it my favorite city. Not to mention all the other positives about the city.
Check out Diani Beach in Mombasa, KENYA. Some of the most beautiful white sandy beaches in the world, and that's pretty much most of the Kenyan coastline.... literally award winning. Not joking
A travel OG just here to share a little knowledge on travel to the motherland: 1. Don’t make women the primary reason for travel, best to have a personal growth mindset. Immerse in the people and culture, way more rewarding than having a sex tourist mindsets 2. Develop a endgame early, become an expat?, business?, temporary fun? Marriage and family? You will be thankful when you turn 50 because you have achieved a goal. 3. Don’t get lost in wanderlust and/or wonderlust (see #2). You can easily wander around aimlessly never establishing anything such as a residence and important lifetime social networks. You can feel homeless and alone at an age you need people and social networks the most.
@@bishopnyc5074 ….naw, just giving my brothas nuggets of knowledge. Younger brothas can choose to walk their own paths…no pressure. However, would like BM to succeed in their life goals…Been traveling and living abroad for over 25 years…Military and personal combined.
@@yepyep6916 25 yrs traveling here too. Unfortunately some young fellas just prefer to learn the hard way. That’s up to them in the end. The smart ones will listen and have an easier time because of it.
Honestly I would rate Nairobi to the top cities in the world like Paris, London, New York etc. It has its own vibe and charm that you will experience. Nairobi is extremely vibrant after 6 month you do not recognize it any more. So much is going on. Nairobi lifts up so many people to the middle class every month. People are intelligent and you can have a good discussion even with a gate keeper. Ppl are open minded and suck in knowledge. And in the words of my son "girls don't get on your nerves". You go to a club 80% of the girls ar 9-10 an 19% are 8-0. 1% have left already. 60% girls in the clubs! They know they are pretty but they stay humble because all others are pretty too. My son got invited to a drink by a girl every time he went out! I did not believe it so I went out with him and saw it. I live in Mombasa because of the weather. Nairobi is too cold I want to swim every day of the year.
Peace brothers from other mothers Salute Auston brother you have really inspired me I'm 57 been to Mogadishu Somalia and Mombasa Kenya by way of the military years ago. Yes I too can confirm the women in Kenya are fit, feminine and definitely friendly. I can't wait to get back there and stay for good.
I was in Rio in February for Carnival and loved it. I need to check out Kenya before I can give an opinion but from your content Kenya and Africa in general so far looks amazing.
It's good to see you enjoying yourself. Kenya has a great beach in Mombasa. Maybe you can check it out. And tell us what you think. Now, if you still want to be around people that speak Portuguese, then of course you can go check out Mozambique, Angola, or Cape Verdé. Keep doing a great job with the videos. And continue to have a safe journey throughout the world
Bro! This is really eye opening. I've been to Brazil 14 times. Love it. But for you to make such a statement is incredible. I know you've been to Thialand and the Philippines and Columbia, so you are well traveled. I'm putting stock in your opinion and experiences. I will be going to Kenya. Thanks for your video. Keep it up 😊
It is one of the big benefits of Kenya ... The country's two official languages - and the ones you'll hear and see used most frequently - are English and Swahili
My friend, you are a breath of fresh air… I so appreciate your honesty and you’re willing to be open about your opinions instead of trying to hide them to please other people
I'm a white man going to visit Kenya, I'm already talking to a beautiful Kenyan lady, but I have to wait for my passport to come so that I can go see her
In Kenya we welcome everyone and specifically our brothers back. Having been away from Kenya, can’t wait to go back this year. Discrimination against people of color is something I’ve never had since I was born, just facing it as a older person away from Africa is something that made me realize that I was black. The society made me feel odd one out, something I don’t want to feel
Great video definitely going to visit Kenya 🇰🇪. I'll be in Ethopia in December. You had me in tears 😂😂😂 laughing "I don't want you call me bro I don't want you call me N***. I like my women feminine. Appreciate the video 👑🙏🏽👑
Glad you enjoyed Kenya. And be back soon. As for the beach, we have Diani Beach, ranked best beach in Africa. Should be the best in the world if you ask me.
I have been to Recife, San Salvadore and Rio. Had a nice time in each of those cities - I was in the US Navy. Now that I am out of the Navy and can go where I want, I am going to Mexico and Ecuador. I now have Kenya on my list due to all of the positive vibes hitting my ear.
Kenya is a vibe! You know it❤. I work in Seattle but bro i try to be home 3 to 4 times a year. Its the energy for me. Ive travelled around the world i keep finding myself home alot. That says something!
Awsome bro thanks for the info. I'm looking for a new country to live. I'm 48 year old chef that makes $67k annually ex college football athlete. I'm sick of the gynocentric society in the west.
I can't emphasize this enough...I love your elevation Auston. I love your improved mindset and updated attire. I am glad you've found a sense of happiness and peace in the motherland. It is wonderful to hear that Nairobians (I know that's a typo) are welcoming to Americans come to their country to reside and establish businesses. I'd love to know more about that process. Also, what goods and services could be beneficial to the locals. Continue to self improve and share with us your experiences in the motherland. It is very exciting to watch. The way you carry yourself now you won't have any problem with attracting American women.
We don't just want you back in Kenya, we want you to come and stay and build and even find love, find a family, enjoy yourself, whatever you want to do, but all in all stay positive and spread love. There is a magic I can't explain, cause we just love visitors and I can't explain more than that. Karibu sana. You are home!
Some parts of Africa is truly paradise on earth if u have a decent amount of savings or income. U can get a nice modern 2-3 bdr apartment/home + a maid + a driver + groceries for about $1000 a month. It’s great for retirement u could even get ur pension or social security check while living in Africa. Man if I had a work from home or a remote job I would move to Africa today!!!

If I see a attractive woman and show interest, and she looks away. That’s my signal she’s not interested. Anything after that is stalking. Eye contact and I will approach like a gentleman.
To Auston Holleman from Oran from Oakland: Say player make sure you hit Mombasa Kenya and go to the old Slave huts where that was the point of no return for must of us. See Mombasa was a natural deep sea port. So the slave ships could come in close and just march us on to the slave ships. It's really sad. Make sure you visit the old slave huts caleed the point of no return.
If you didn’t know, there are multiple drivers on an owner of an Uber account they hire people and have them drive under there account so the owner had it for 9 years the drivers just uses it and is probably new to driving

All that's left to do is for you to learn Swahili. You don't even need to take classes. Just start speaking few words & progress from there. Karibu Kenya.
I Lived in the City of Mombasa, Kenya in the Bamburi district... Austin is right about the People, Very welcoming and respectful..I wish we could say the same about how Black Americans treat our people coming to America..
How do Black Americans treat Kenyans when they come to America? Most Kenyans coming to America come for education purposes. They don't mingle with Black Americans unless they are students at the same school. Their purpose is to get educated and return to Kenya. What are you saying about Black Americans treating your people coming to America?
@@wb1738 America has a lot of problems when it comes to respect for each other in the Black community .. What you said is true.. Kenyans don't associated with Black Americans in America.

Hello Auston? Im glad to see that you are having a nice time and enjoying your travel experience in Africa ( Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya ). Auston. I am an OLD HEAD ( 60 yrs old ). Most of the things that I say and my comments via internet is based on my knowledge, age, life experience, wisdom and from mistakes that I have made in my life time. However Auston, I have to admit!!! Your assessment, comparison and critique of South America ( Brazil ), and Africa ( Kenya ), was FAIR & BALANCED based on YOUR travel experience to both Continents. Myself!!! I have never visted either Continent; so my opinion really doesn't matter. But I want say Auston!!! It was good to hear YOU say very POSITIVE and GOOD THINGS about Kenya, the women of Kenya and the Kenyan people in general. Enjoy the rest of your travel. Take care. God bless.
Hey auston, I have been watching your videos every since you touch down in Africa. I have made a plan to come to Africa in December of this year.
