Nanoblocks are quite nice but... Is it really necessary so many little plastic bags as containers of the pieces? Would be amazing for them to find a more ecological way to do it. I know maybe I am not gonna change nothing commenting here, but just had to try ☆
2:34 it actually is japanese text! japanese uses 3 types of characters, one of which, kanji, are chinese characters with different readings/meanings to chinese. you can tell it’s japanese by the simple characters at the end, which are katakana, original japanese characters
Yer why not, He is exaclty what you see which I like and why I also watch most of his vids. He also often responds to My comments which is also rather good of him.
I own a few sets both Nanoblock and Loz. Great little display items. Instructions are good to follow because they highlite each step. Btw. Did you know Lego used to make tiny bricks for architects and plan boards?
Nanoblocks are a cool novelty, I had one of the Pokémon ones, nice little set, but wasn’t structurally sound, although that was something which I was able to fix with spare pieces.
I've seen so many memes that feature the pain of stepping on a Lego block that I have to ask you, Dr Jake, are Nanoblocks less painful? Could be a future selling point for them . :)
Well Nano Blox due to there long studs in proportion to the size of the brick means that they are more likely to be stepped on while they are on there side which is less painful then the equivalent Lego brick.
The big question that everyone wants to know the answer to is : Are Nan's around the world able to use the nanoblocks and could they successfully build the Blue Whale? ;-) Thanks for the video Jake.
Great review. I have 139 Nanoblock/Loz/other-knockoff-brands of these sets. I have Lego sets as well. Very accurate in your comparison between Nanoblocks and Lego.
I have to use tweezers and I have had to buy a nano block board but I bought a nano block crash bandicoot and find it easy to follow instructions not all come in boxes I also got a diamond blocks larcelle that came with booklet and I can’t understand the instructions Stand instructions upright on a stand.
*the multiple plastic bags seem to indicate that the kits themselves are arranged and assembled based on block sets that are interchangeable with other kits and also make keeping track of them easier than it would be if the entire kit was just thrown in one bag loose that could be scattered and lost easily if stumbling over something and sending parts to the far corners of the room and underneath furniture and embedded in the carpet or even quite possibly an improvised chew toy for a pet that later makes its long and perilous journey through the digestive track to be found and recovered later although not likely to be salvaged with great enthusiasm*
Jake you really have to try building the football. I’ve had mine for three years and I’ve tried building it several times. It’s still in pieces because I can’t make head nor tail of the instructions. Stay safe 👍
Yeah I loved building lego sets with my son in his younger days. Still got the VW beetle on display. Nanoblocks would be no good for my sausage fingers. Looks good though. Cheers Jake
Many years ago I bought the Piano from Nanoblock and well it was just a fun little experience. It mostly got me more interested in what I already did with the LEGO System which is mostly micro scale models.
You are definitely correct that these aren’t for children. By brother got several of these and we had to get my dad to make it for him cos it was too complicated and fiddly.
So to be e, I've built a few nano.block sets from different companies and I've had a mixed experience. Just keep in mind that it's extremely different than actual Lego or similar sets.. not to mention it requires tons more patience...🤣🤣
My son bought me a microscopic set of something from Japan. It was microscopic and even the instructions were small. I had to read them with the aid of a loupe. I gave up in the end and my son took it back. I will ask him what brand it was, but definitely not for children.
Are you saying you have fat fingers? Or, because you did put the model together, are you saying that you don't have fat fingers? In your time break down you didn't imply directly that there was a time blowout based on fat fingers. Or were you implying, with a soft touch, that your original mistake on the first instruction was because you have fat fingers?
in my entirly life since I have 8 years oldI have assembled 4 legos of arquitecture and 4 nanoblocks of famous landmarks, I like in some kind more nanoblocks cause there is more cheaper than lego sets.
for me i would say no. i got the dragon and it was a giant ripoff. the pieces would not stay together and after that experience i am just going to stick to lego
JAKE Nano blocks are all the same basic bricks regardless of name or production location they are all the same. That's the one thing I don't like, you dont get any wheels or special parts. I Have sevraul nano Blox sets and the biggest is a container ship which is huge and has thousends of parts, I have had it about 5 years and still not built the thing.
Well, what ca I say. My brother is actually a copy of you. Literally exactly. He has a real girlfriend, just like you. Still, even people who met her, don’t believe that she really is his girlfriend. Some of these doubters even speculate on what makes this girl say, that she’s his girlfriend. They are more likely to believe, that she’s some foreign spy than just accept the fact that she likes him. Ok...yes.... I don’t have a brother.
@Lois Miller they are Russia have shares in this company and they steal Lego designs with their black tech server miners before lego get a chance to reveal the ‘Lego nano’ series. You better watch where you step lad this fella might be getting A LOT of money for this review just you watch. So much money this company makes they supply weapons to alt right Russian Feds
