In this video I breakdown IF YOU SHOULD USE NCSA. I hope you enjoy! WE ARE TRAVELING TO 15 MORE STATES FOR QB/WR CAMPS! ⬇️⬇️⬇️ www.firstdowntraining.com/boo... 8 WEEK WR ON FIELD WORKOUT PLAN ⬇️ www.firstdowntraining.com/pro...
Everyone believes their kid is special. Some companies seize this with gurantees ect. Bottom line is you have to be a stand out to get recruited. No magic formula, no program can get around that.
Thanks for the info, I was scheduled with my son for one of those hour long phone calls. I was a bit skeptical & after watching your video - even more so.
This is facts. They son’t know your kid from a can of paint. I received an invite from them about a camp to a D3 college. Never heard of the University & decided that my son would go as a 1st camp experience. My son wasn’t feeling the camp & the head coach didn’t know about route running. The coaches was surpised to even see a kid from my area.
Hey Coach, your content is outstanding. This is another example of how you are helping student athletes make good decisions on and off the field. I know you'll be in Philly this year, but do you have any plans on coming to New Jersey in the near future?
Appreciate you man, thank you very much for the support! So we do not this year- in 2025 we will, closest spot this year is Philly like you mentioned. Here is the info link below www.firstdowntraining.com/service-page/philadelphia-pa-qb-wr-camp?referral=service_list_widget
thanks for the heads up. I was about to sign my daughter up for NCSA, but felt hesitant about the service. I was wondering if it was a money grab with minimal return.
Thank you for your great advice! I was filling out my 8th grader son's Athletic clearance for high school and a NCSA window popped up as if it was part of the legit high school paperwork. Within half day we got caught in a 45 minutes long phone call and got set up for a second call ( on Mother's Day!!!). When this services are so quick to try to get you without leaving you the time to think it's always a concerning scam alert. BTW costs of membership were between 1800 - 6000+ dollars. The guy was calling from his home with a virtual background...
Hello, I honestly didn't understand your video because I don't know much English, but when I read the comments I realized it. So I'm just going to start playing football outside the USA (Mexico) and I'm going to graduate from high school. What advice would you give me and do you think I can play college football in the USA? good video 🥳👍
Yeah you definitely can, you need to make sure you get highlights from actual games. College coaches can’t take you seriously without film. So make sure someone films all of your games or pay someone to film your games. But you need a highlight tape to stand out to coaches
I agree. We got suckered in by NCSA. This is our first go-round through recruiting for hockey for my daughter. To say we got ripped off is an understatement. They're USELESS.
Hey I just have a question, I got a call from NCSA yesterday explaining their recruiting service, and etc. I was thinking about it until I watched your video on youtube, so I told them like hey i’m going to cancel on the meeting on sunday. That’s until I asked how much the service would cost and they said it wouldn’t cost anything, it just allows college coaches to notice you. What should i do?
So honestly they do that so they can just get your info, then sell it off to colleges and then you will get these spam emails from schools you have never heard of claiming that you have been “invited” to their camp. When thousands got the same email. They do that so they can then pitch you on the service that costs, this is my experience with it. If you want to do it, fine but I don’t think it’s needed
Exactly those recruitment sites are not the way to go. The fact is most athletes end up D3 so why waste the money, and you are right no one is going to promote a player who can’t cut it , because it cheapens a legit player later on.
So one of the Ncsa workers called me when I signed up for a club in my district and they basically scanned me into paying 2K is there anyway I could get a refund or help?
We called this one woman from ncsa, and she put a lot of emphasis on the fact the kid was late and desperately needed to "catch up" and that the only way we could do that was by paying money for them. Tried to nicely hang up a couple times but she kept going on about how we could regret this many years into the future. Had to pretend I was wholeheartedly convinced before she let me hang up. Total scam, super weird.
Hey coach, I am a soccer player from Pakistan, as I want to better my chances of competing at the highest level, I want to play college soccer in the US (as my academics are strong). In my research, the four-letter service reached out to me multiple times about what they could offer. As I don't know a lot about the process and don't really have a lot of leads, what would you do in my situation as an athlete?
So honestly man, I probably wouldn’t be the best player to ask about soccer. I think playing club soccer is important from what I’ve heard from other soccer coaches and guys who I have trained that have played. And I would reach out to a club coach, he can help you better than I can
Hey coach I'm a 13 year old who wants to play college football and possibly in the NFL and I was wondering how I could get recruited without using those recruit apps
Just need to be a baller man. At the end of the day that’s what really matters. Like if you’re THAT good, I’m talking D1 level and potential NFL, it is so damn noticeable. Everyone will use the excuse of “oh well I’m from a small town” - even if you’re from a small town and you have a highlight tape that shows you can make those types of D1 level plays, coaches will know about you. I recommend making a Twitter account and posting content there to get a social media presence, follow college coaches and interact with coaches on the app. All it takes is one coach or scout to see you and it changes everything. But the social media stuff doesn’t matter if you don’t have the skills to back it up
@@firstdowntraining Coach..if I make a twitter and post my highlights what hashtags would I use? Would I @ any coaches or schools? I don’t know much about twitter or getting recruited..thanks
@@firstdowntrainingthey took $178 last month and charged it again even after I cancelled the card. I’m waiting for a refund. I could not cancel my account so I changed names and blocked unsubscribed. They are scammers. I called and the lady was rude. She said I signed and I can check in four months and they can take a lower payment. She was rude. I called her out and said they are scammers. She was offended. I hung up after I told her we are no longer interested and we don’t have the money.
I got a call yesterday and it went well, until i was told i have to pay $3000 for them to help get me recruited. I hung up and blocked the number and after watching your video I can be fully satisfied in saying I made the right decision. So if this is a scam what is the REAL way to make it in collage soccer? and how are these top people making it to D1 schools
So honestly man, I’m not a soccer guy in an sense of the sport. However I think the club team you play on and the tournaments you play on is how you get recruited. This is just what I’ve heard, I could be completely wrong because like I said- I’m not a soccer guy
Going to be really close this year in Houston TX! Here is the info below www.firstdowntraining.com/service-page/houston-texas-qb-wr-camp?referral=service_list_widget
