the most entertaining sport is actually getting two people pissed at each other for no reason and betting on how long it takes them to figure out that nothing actually happened
Also not true, it's not fun to play either! There's not enough action and it's way too slow paced. It's kind of fun to bat though but even then.. not really!
@@zay6840 the fact that u said basketball is boring and not the nba is boring. Shows me that you r ignorant when it comes to the sport. Lemme guess u a football/soccer fan. And ur from England.
Brooo hockey honestly a pretty fun sport to watch tho, a sport that actually allows fighting, and fighting on ice is pretty hard, so props to the mfs who fight on ice
Fr tho nhl games are so fun to go to. Just the speed of the sport is so fun to watch where as basketball, football and baseball go at a slower pace. Especially baseball.
@@ispeakfactsss bro somebody never passed 3rd grade, sucks our only good player is pelly, best shutdown defenseman in the league, he doesn’t deserve us
Most NBA and NHL stadiums are smaller and hold less people in them (and many NBA&NHL teams share stadiums) than MLB stadiums. And NBA and NHL only play 41 games at home compared to like 80 something for an MLB team. Using my hometown teams, the Tigers and Red Wings, Comerica Park holds about 41,000 people and Little Caesar's Arena only holds about 20,000. So even if both stadiums sell out the Tigers would have twice as many in attendance. I don't think the Detroit Tigers would sell out the Big House but the Red Wings sold out the Big House twice but one of the games was canceled.
People only go to baseball games for the Hotdogs and to get drunk. Also the tickets are cheap as hell where both the NBA and the NHL have like 300 Dollar tickets on average
My business teacher said… basketball is one of the most cheapest sports to play and that’s why most people like to play it… it’s basically a pickup and play sport where you don’t need to buy equipment or get more players
very true, all you need is a ball and you're good to go. as someone who grew up extremely poor, other sports were expensive. In baseball you gotta buy cleats, mitts, special pants, etc. Football has all the pads and cleats, but basketball? Just grab a pair of Shaqs and a ball from Walmart for 30 bucks and your good for the season
Wait we going to forget about the shit with women dancing with ribbons? Cause im pretty sure that shit was on tv at some point, or chess? Yeah there are things labeled as sports that are far worse.
@@jackjensen4687 nba got so many made shots every game. NFL got so many points and big plays. These games that only score about 5 total points just don’t have as many big plays. Which is probably why they are less popular
Fun fact: the nfl hall of fame game in 2022 had 6.3 million viewers but the game 3 of the 2020 nba finals lakers vs hear had 6.4 million It just shows how big nfl is
Hockey more entertaining than any of these sports other than basketball they don’t have to stop the game every second like football but they still hit plus fighting
Golf is interesting when you've hit a golf ball before and you learn dat shit difficult as fuck anybody can get big and hold a line but geometry with a stick is different
Considering the fact this dude wears soccer jerseys, I’m patiently waiting for him on this. However, Americans don’t care about the world’s most popular sport lol
I have watched and played hockey my whole life. It is actually the most entertaining sport. Once you learn the rules it is so fun to watch. It’s also one of the hardest sports. In my opinion it is the hardest sport.
NFL is my favorite but NHL is definitely most entertaining and exciting to watch. It’s small and fast paced like basketball (small in comparison to soccer and football I mean) it’s more aggressive and they’re on ice meaning they slip more. Not necessarily a good thing but it’s also easily the most dangerous. Maybe Baseball but far less likely to be hit by a ball in the face from farther away controlled by someone’s hand rather than a puck controlled by a stick in close range. I barely even watch hockey but it’s still not even close.
I agree. If you're looking for a fast paced end to end action sport in North America, hockey is where it's at. Now, if you want fast paced, 360 action, on a field bigger than a baseball field, AFL Premiership football in Australia is where you wanna watch. I've seen it on TSN alot here in Canada, so I'm sure it pops on ESPN too. Picture all the contact of rugby, but you can be hit from any direction, and the field is gigantic. That's the closest I can get to describing it if you haven't watched. It's become my favorite sport, wish we had a league here in NA
@@real_blaze5354 I mean, it does make sense. If you're down south, it's hot. When it's hot, you can't make ice outside, so you gotta go inside, which is expensive. So then less kids play it, and when less kids play it, those kids don't follow it when they're adults. So that does actually make sense.
I agree but in my opinion the playoffs and finals In basketball is more entertaining since it’s a series of seven compared to one elimination game. You actually see who’s the better team when it comes to basketball rather than football where it’s a game of whoever came to play that particular day.
The Big House in Ann Arbor sold out in 2014 Wings vs Maple Leafs an outdoor hockey game in the middle of February. That's like 110,000+ people to watch a team that wasn't even good at the time.
Hockey takes a whole different level of skill. I give props to all sports. They all take skill. But add ice and thin metal blades to slide around on and the possibility of getting punched out and it makes a different level of difficulty.
@@codyperfect1801 I understand that not everyone has enough brain cells to grasp to idea of something being more difficult than baseball, basketball and football combined. Enjoy your nap. Would you like a binky?
@@robertoaiello9342 football and baseball is debatable but I agree it's more talent requiring than basketball. Football you need alot more energy tbh you running so much for so far being tackled and vice versa with some players perilously breaking limbs. Baseball seems simple but tbh when I was younger I played it all and it's tbh more challenging then most sports first off that balls dangerous, next it's fields even bigger than footballs and you risk pulling so much fucking up ya shoulder or worse so many spots to play and know timing and when and wher to throw almost immediately. Now as batter yeah it's simple hard to hit but simple. Basketball is just... the easiest tbh if ya cant outskill ppl just master 3 point shots boom easy your now good. Hockey is difficult I tbh find it less tiring than Baseball and football and on average less dangerous, BUT it's harder to learn, balance and shoot and tho on average less damage, the instigating moments can be legit and the fact if that puck hits you in the face or finger well ya may be done forever or potentially worse I once messed up and Google hockey accidents lol nope only two sports which rival those injuries are WWE and Soccer XD swing a shin bone out and seeing wresting botches bleh no thank u but yeah in terms of most difficult to learn I'd say it's between Hockey and Baseball def
@@mrjghostbell3807 look up rugby and jai alai. Like I said, I fully acknowledge baseball, basketball and football as needing a lot of skill. But hockey has a lot higher level of difficulty.
Ik it's you're opinion but that is wildly incorrect the nba playoffs are historically terrible i mean you get 4-7 games to win in the nba. In the nfl you get on chance and thats it i mean the nfl playoffs last year were absolutely insane there were a million comebacks, OT and very close games every round there was something crazy happening for at least one game
I personally think the nfl is more fun to watch because unlike basketball, there isn’t as much flopping. NBA players have come to rely on flopping and it is kind of annoying
NBA is world wide whiles the NFL is only in America, the NFL isn't even a top 5 most popular sport, golf and baseball are for some weird reason more popular than the NFL world wide
@@mj23926 naw definitely not yall play a ridiculous amount of games NFL games are way more meaningful due to that fact and ain't no best of 5 In the playoffs if you lose your season is over
@@Drewww114 to be fair, your not lying. Only because of the commissioner of baseball is the dumbest man alive for going at it with the players association, and that we are in a lockout for not coming to an agreement.
People mostly watch Baseball and Hockey hoping a brawl to breaks out between teams. I like Football more because when its exciting its crazy, in the NBA no one cares about any other player besides Lebron James, Steph Curry, James Harden, and that's about it. Plus the NFL has the Superbowl with all those Funny ass commercials
@@malachipenalver8436 he is talking about people who just know the sport. In all honest curry, lebron, and harden are the most common names amongst people who dont actively talk about basketball. If you ask someone who doesn't watch/pay attention to basketball who deaaron fox is they will be confused as hell. KD and klay might pass.
The most entertaining sport to watch despite having low popularity in the states, is definitely Rugby it was the only sport as a kid that grabbed my attention with pure agression and speed and which it is played, but I do enjoy watching basketball now too as an adult.
I was waiting for golf to walk up and get roasted lol Tbh although its boring to watch on tv its surprisingly entertaining to play. You go, get drunk, and try to hit a ball with a golf club...😂
@@Your1and.only_DutchVanDerLinde pretty sure it does More fans = more people that enjoy it. if more people enjoy it more than other sports that makes it the best
@@velofy9595 You never actually watched a hockey game in your life have you? If you did then you would know it's not just the scoring that makes hockey exciting.
@@velofy9595 Come on let's be real now. What's more likely? Me never watching the NFL, NBA, and MLB or you never watching NHL? You probably can't even name 5 NHL teams.
