You do understand that Norway or any other country is not even remotely interested in defeating Russia, as in invading it. What would happen is basically destroy Russias capability to invade say Norway and Norway and the rest of Scandinavia would likely do that without much trouble. Sure there would be losses and destruction, on both sides. But given the geography and the technological inferiority and training of Russian military... it would be inevitable. Once NATO get involved in any such scenario Russia would be finished for good... that is for sure... no matter how much they wave the Nuclear Weapon flag. With that I don't mean Russia would be invaded, no one would be interested in that... but neutering Russian capacity to conduct offensive operations would be the goal in any such circumstance.

Then they would of ran out of Ammunition. That includes Norway in those countries. The Members of NATO including the US are all running short of convential weapons. Some critically in certain areas. Russia has enough to carry on fighting for a full year. Russia alone can destroy every European NATO member state all together in a conventional war. I'm British by the way. Russia lost 2,637 men in the 1st 4 weeks of the conflict as it probed all areas to see any weak points. After that they've changed tactics. You see the Eastern Ukrainians who have been getting murdered & tortured for 8 years by the Ukrainian Facists. Are ethnic Russians. So Russia has went in to protect these civilians. With the Facists using these civilians as human shields. It takes time to keep the civilian csdultiez at a minimum. Otherwise Russia would have just carpet bombed Ukraine. Russia has committed only 15% of its capability in this conflict. It has been fighting against a country. Who's military has been getting trained by NATO forces for years. This is all confirmed by the NATO states. Ukraine has been pumped full of weapons for at least a decade. Not only is Russia systematically destroying this well armed NATO trained Facist state. Its fighting thousand of so called mercenaries & up to 40 nations supplying even more weapons to Ukraine non stop. You think Norway could do that do you? If so you're not very bright. You claim Russia has proved how poor it is militarily. Yet many ex US or other Western nations high ranking military officials. Have all been announcing the very same opinion. That Ukraine is defeated, its using its people as cannon fodder. The Ukrainian losses every day now are catastrophic. Yet you believe Norway can beat Russia. If Ukraine was in NATO at the bigining of this conflict. It would have been the 3rd largest military amongst the NATO countries. Behind the US & Turkey. Norway have multiple minesweepers, minehunters, mine detection vessel support vessels and training vessels.+ the Coast Guard. Norway had 5 frigates and one got destroyed and now They have 4, that is a 20% less frigates. Where did you Get that Norway lost 20% of it naval combat? Norway still have 4 heavy frigates, 6 corvetts, 6 soon 10 submarines, 17 patrol vessels and 6 mine warfare. Norway military is ment to stop a attack and slow it down to give nato time to come, and civilians etc. times to escape. Their military is Capeball of withstanding a attack.

While it may be my bad for not remembering the 3 day claim among the mount of lies they dispensed I certainly remember that Ukraine has managed to legitimate and make R. Kadyrov claims about the towns they entered and conquered a trustworthy source as their Command was compelled to acknowledge in a matter of hours what Kadyrov announced live. @@m80116 this is only the Ukraine war, it is many other times Where the prediction was right. And a lot of the weapons Ukraine is getting is somewhat russian made, or less advanced things. (Not always) Ukraine military is using a lot of russian\soviet and less advanced things. Giving Ukraine weapons that is Good can become bad if the user of it need time and pratice with it. Thats Why They havent gotten a lot of the new gen vehicels. But you still need to look at alle the damages. Russia is experiencing a lot more losses than Ukraine both in military vehicels and personell. Russia and Ukraine is using similar amounts of soliders etc. it is not any crazy diffrense. And without funds, aid and weapons, vehicels given by other countries russias operation could Maybe have Been succecfull. Russia is really just using the destroy every centimer of the land and cities tactic. They realise They would not win with ground to ground, tank vs tank. They are now mostly just smooting thousand of missilses into towns and cities making them unlivebal and making guerilla warfare (city version) useless. They are then taking those after They destroyed it to The ground. Russia attacked Ukraine in 2014 and has since then planned the Ukraine war, so it is 8 years of planning (Maybe more if you count before 2014), so they probaly took in consideration aid from other countries.

Norway could never defeat Russia, maybe make an annexation too difficult to be worth the effort at best. But to say NATO is weaker than Russia is delusional. Russia is struggling against Ukraine, a 1) very poor country 2) not a NATO member. Even without the US, the EU NATO members are vastly superior to Russia. The only problem is that both sides have nukes.
