Also, if you have a young skin like say you’re in your 20s you’re not going to see a big huge difference. You might see a minor change, but it’s going to be the long-term use of this device which I don’t have this device. I can’t afford it. But I do know about facial muscles. As long as you’re doing it the right way it will give you good long-term lasting results and I would recommend using an RF device with this & red light with red light serum. Obviously ask your doctor first.
@@Carcassbits11 recommended use is at least five days a week and a lot of people concentrate on one part of the face at a time. If you have time then do the whole face. Also learn where your face muscles are so you can do this properly. It makes a big difference. Consult physician
Also, if you’re not using a water-based here, I’m with this you’re not gonna see any results! That’s the big key and using these tools if you have to use the proper serum, which says. You’re not using any serum you’re not going to see any results. It doesn’t work without it. Consult physician
Had a mini sitting around for 4 months & finally started to use it. After a month, I see no change at all. And I find it annoying & time consuming to use in the morning. I really don’t like it & I’m glad I got a mini on sale. This will be re-gifted for sure!
If you know, nothing about your underlying facial muscles, then it’s probably is not going to work for you. There’s a certain way to use these devices.
I would be willing to bet that she does a lot of other things to support her health of face and body, too! Kudos to her! How wonderful that you have such a great role model!
Microcurrent and RF is amazing. You have to buy legit stuff and good brand don’t buy stuff off of Alibaba but yeah you can do some pretty amazing things with it with consistent use.
Seems like you are a sales person of the NuFace lol :). I have bought a legit one for a crazy price, have been using it regularly and don't see any results at all. Waste of money!
I am very happy with my "Illumia Skin" LED light therapy mask which I bought online from Aldi Australia, about a year ago. (I am not affilliated with Aldi at all). It has 11 settings and 8 light modes (including infrared & blue). I couldn't justify buying one of the very pricey ones. Mine was AU$249 well spent. They are currently sold out online, but their customer support may be able to tell you when they will be available again. I hope they are before Xmas because I want to send one to my sister in London as it has been effective for my skin needs. It is so comfortable & relaxing I fall asleep before the time switches itself off. 👱♀️❤
@@stephr4561 It calms down inflamation (inc. redness and acne), so I don't wash my face in the morning, just apply sunscreen and primer. (Then breakfast.) It saves time and I am not tempted to put on too much make-up because my skin doesn't have to calm down first. (I shower my body after breakfast). It it too hard to tell how much it helps with anti-aging because that's a gradual thing, and I also use retinol, sunscreen etc. However, because the mask is so relaxing it makes me fall asleep so quickly that it a good thing for skin health.😴 i use it on my neck and chest too. The other unexpected benefit was that it seemed to quickly heal inside my mouth when I developed a sensitivity to my regular toothpaste. 👱♀️❤
Thankfully I haven't been tempted to buy one of these gadgets. It wouldn't wouldn't be relaxing for me either if I haf to use it on myself. It maybe therapeutic to use on ýour cat 🐈 if you don't use it anymore 😉 However, I am very happy with my "Illumia Skin" LED light therapy mask I purchased about a year ago from Aldi Australia. (I'm not affilliated with either companý). Effective and relaxing. Much more budget friendly than similar ones, so it was AU$249 well spent. 👱♀️❤
Ok. So, I heard that as we age the muscles really do sag. They don't support the overlying fat pads and the skin joins them both for the ride. Retin-A only tackles skin. It does not address sag, deep lines and nasolabial folds (which you don't have). That's the truth. Changes to the bone, muscle, fat pads and skin *all* coalesce to result in the overall aged look.
I love mine for the daily boost or for events like a wedding. There’s a noticeable lift for me, and it is temporary like you said, and over time it’s made a difference overall. I also use the Tri pollar rf device and love it!
@@skintellectual7679 not quite permanent. If you keep using it will it maintain a more youthful appearance? Yes. Alas if your already noticing aging & you use it diligently you are still going to "age" but just a bit more gracefully with these types of devices. I personally like Myolift mini for MC. It's considered a (true microcurrent) v.s the device used above.
I bought one and used it for three weeks and I was able to return it with the store policy I bought it from. So glad I was able to as I felt it was a complete waste of money and did nothing.
You're thin and have no sagging. I personally have seen a huge difference in tone. They also say 5 days a week for 5 months for best results so you are 3 months shy.
Dr Dray. Can I use an LED mask on my face even if I’ve had and been successfully treated for BCC’s. I can’t seem to get an definitive answer and I’m waiting on my GP to get back to me. TY.
@@nicoledebace this is the first I’ve heard anyone mention it needed to be used for 5 months - EEK! I’ve only used it every day for a month & I see no change & really have come to hate the process of using it. 👎
@@swineinny1 yeah they basically say if you can't commit to 5 times a week for 5 months not to bother. Then you do less frequently for maintenance after that. I do about 20 min a day 5 times a week and my Mother and my Esthetician both went out and bought one after seeing the improvement in my jawline and neck tone. It takes a while to get in the habit but now I love it. It's just become part of my evening wind down. If you find it isn't for you I'm sure there is a secondary market for it.
I have used mine for approximately 4 years, and during a relocation , I couldn't find time for over 2 weeks to use the device, I could clearly see I wasn't using it. I am 54, though, even my eyelids are uplifted and smoother after using it in the morning , and my jawline
I don’t know what all you’ve been doing Dr. Dray but you’re looking good! You’ve definitely had a glow up recently so we need to know what all you’ve been doing! Also your hair in the latest videos looks so healthy and full! Please share us your secrets!!!
I got suckered into getting this a couple years ago (thankfully at a hefty discount at least). Definitely do not bother if you have sensitive skin (I am a ginger with rosacea for reference). The conductive gel is quite irritating! I attempted using aloe gel instead as someone suggested however it turns out aloe is quite acidic and I found it to be irritating as well. I ended up selling it secondhand lol.
Dr. Dray, is the technology the same with Skin Inc’s Voyager Triloght? I notice my skin getting irritated after getting in contact with the heated metal (several passes of suggested use).. It has LED light too..
Unfortunately I am one of many that have bought into this!😬😖 Ugh! Is there ANY device that can actually help with ant aging , and make a noticeable difference?
😮omg wow that’s so crazy! Didn’t even think of that ! My brother had Bell’s palsy when he was 17. He’s 47 now …. Still has one side of his face that’s affected ….
I wonder does anyone know if it is good for puffiness? I wake in the a.m. with fluid in my face (thyroid and other health issues ), and it takes hours for it to dissipate. I'm wondering if having this might be helpful? I don't really believe in the anti-aging benefits of it? I suppose I could try it and see but obvs don't want to waste money either.
Do you think these are worth it. I was thinking of buying one to use at home. 11 in 1 Beauty Machine Professional Vacuum Body Facial Beauty Equipment with 2.5 Version Flat Handle for Spa Salon Use
I have a micro current device that I use to massage the sides of my face and it helps with bruxism and TMJ the discomfort after a few days of use is almost gone I can tell when i have not been using it, and it just takes 5 to 10 mins
@@AA-kq2rp I use a Geske microcurrent facelift pen, I dont have any lines or wrinkles so I cant talk about that but had read about microcurrent helping with TMJ and it does for me with regular use
I tried the Nuface..what a waste of money..it did nothing for me... I sent it back for a refund...I seen a few devices work, but not many...you really need to really take your time and read the reviews..before purchasing any anti aging device....I go to a medispa..where i see results..but it can be pricey..thank you for reviewing the device..
I don’t think the red light have the power to do much but it is better that doing nothing. It is an additional attachment and usually one have to buy it because it doesn’t come included.
I have the NuFace and NuBody, and they both work great. Instead of buying the red led light attachment, I recommend getting a red led bulb and sitting under the light with your eyes closed for 15-20 minutes. Much cheaper and your entire face and neck gets exposed to the light.
Just as a helpful tip, if there is a zapping sensation it means not enough gel was applied. When enough gel is applied there will literally feel nothing.
Dr. Dray, what I don’t get is this: don’t people get Botox to their masseter (to get atrophy) to slim and get v shape jaw? And then people use this to “sculpt” their jaw to get v shape when it supposedly reverses atrophy. Facepalm.
I got one for Christmas. It's already not working properly. The nuface will be fully charged and will not turn on. I have to plug it in for a couple of minutes then it will turn on. No do not purchase. Thanks
You are too young Dr. Dray! It takes a slight loss of muscle for there to be an improvement. I'm not saying that these devices are effective or not, but it takes someone who needs one to try it to see if it works! :) Ah ah! I like the look in your face when your not happy with the result (a face that says sometings like "stop filling us with your nonsense")
