One of the most sought after reservations in #WaltDisneyWorld and #Disneyland is the Oga's Cantina experience in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. Nestled back in the First Order Section of #Batuu, you can find #OgasCantina with its grumpy proprietor Oga slinging drinks, and DJ R-3X (also known as DJ REX) spinning tunes.
We have already brought you one review from this Galaxy #FarFarAway, but we've returned to see if it's still worth it to go to this Bar in the Outer Rim of the Galaxy!

@@pcproff you can take kids! There are non-alcoholic beverages and snacks, and they will enjoy the bartender antics. Just prepare them that it will be loud!

No, it's not worth it. They make you stand up crowded with other people. You can't relax and enjoy your drink. When I was there, they had all the tables roped off and no one was sitting in the booths. I asked if we could use one, since I had reservations for six months. I was told they were VIP's. I was staying on a Disney Property (mid-high), and that still wasn't good enough. After waiting to get served for a long time, we just left. We were tired and wanted to sit down.

While I can understand your experience wasn’t amazing, mainly because Disney should be more up front about the standing part, but I’ve been to the Cantina multiple times outside my videos and have never had the experience you did. Maybe give it another shot and things will go better? Thanks for voicing your opinion, have a (more) magical day!

That was a fun night start to finish. My favorite part of Oga's has to be the cast members. You can get a nice beverage in a lot of places, but here you also get cast members committed to providing entertainment value and unique memories for their patrons.

We love Oga's! Not a fan of having to stand up (especially if it's late in our trip that we visit and the Disney feet are in full pain mode!), but the atmosphere and drinks more than make up for that! The Fuzzy Tauntaun is our go to drink, but we're slowly working our way through the entire menu (I say slowly because that Fuzzy Tauntaun has us in a vice so we always have to get one of those earth!). Definitely felt the drinks after Slinky Dog and a spin on swirling saucers lol

This is one of the parts of Galaxy's Edge I know the least about, I didn't realize it was so much fun! How do they regulate the 45 minute time limit? Is every single reservation on a 45 minute rotation, and they clear out everyone in the bar before bringing in the next group? Or do they monitor each party?

They monitor each party. From your first drink order. When you hit your time limit they get a “drinks to go” order from the computer. Groups cycle every 5 minutes or so. Great questions!!

11:23 probably the most fun Disney World review I’ve ever watched. Husband and I are going in May. We didn’t plan on Hollywood Studios. But now we are adding a day to our trip for this. Great review. Thank you for that!!

Hollywood Studios had a stint where it was NOT fun. However, it has recently gotten back to it's former glory. While I still miss the Backlot Tour and the Great Movie Ride, Toy Story Land and Galaxy's Edge have finally brought Hollywood Studios back to a full day park. ENJOY!!

Great video! It’s so funny you can tell when people aren’t from the west coast when they call it craft beer…. Never heard anyone call it that other than on the east coast

So glad you rate this place so highly as we have two post 9pm reservations when we visit in April; so looking forward to it. Just thinking do you know if the hotel transportation still run to accommodate Ogas later closings as you could be leaving the park over an hour after official park closure time? Jamie 😊

We were totally able to catch a bus well after we left back to Port Orleans: Riverside. I think they run occasional buses after close for just that reason.

Woman slapped a man not in her party on the rear-end, and made explicit suggestive comments to him loudly enough that the party behind me in the booth complained about her to our server at the bar in-between my wife and I. I couldn’t help overhear, and then a Disney Security officer came and offered her the “leave or be trespassed” ultimatum.

We are big fans of the Fuzzy Tauntaun, there’s nothing else like it 😆 Our one wish is that there were more seating options with chairs after a long day.

That is TOTALLY understandable, but if you watch the movies, everything in Mos Eisley’s Cantina is standing room with wall booths. I think they did a great job keeping it in the Star Wars canon!! Thank you so much for watching!!

The Jet Juice was no-joke-strong. They are pre-mixed if that helps… not as potent when made to order. Thanks for watching!

Im going at the end of october would a late oga reservation be better i have one for 5 but wasnt sure if late is better

Great Question! I’d recommend booking after park close. Oga’s is not as crowded, and when you leave, you get an empty park to walk through!! Hope that helps!

@@CarouselofDouglas I've currently switched the reservation to 8:25 so it'll be over by 9 i think that would be best but they have some reservations late as 9:45 which is crazy to me that there open that late

Yes, due to its popularity you are given 45 minutes from seating to visit Oga’s, but if you get a late seating (after park closure) you will usually be able to eek out extra time

Isn’t there a limit on the number of drinks you can order? I heard it was a max of two per person?

This is a recent addition, it is actually 3 Drinks per person, now. I don’t see this lasting, because the bartenders weren’t happy about if, and the customers weren’t either. Bartenders getting less tips with customers getting less drinks… never a good combination

@@CarouselofDouglas definitely agree. By any chance did you try the snacks offered as well? If so were they any good and what do you recommend? Also when does the 45 time limit start? I heard some people say it’s at the beginning of the reservation time and others say it begins after first drink is served.

@@DaMaster1977 the time is bartender’s discretion… they like you, they don’t rush you out. So, as I always say “be nice to cast members!” As for the food? It’s alright… nothing that says “special Star Wars bar!” Though

Olga’s at Disney World stinks! Staff seated me in the “to go” section and insisted I didn’t have a reservation. When they finally found it there was no apology, no nothing. When I called them on their treatment they LIED and said I was abusive to the staff and refused to serve me. Now I know how Andor felt when he got framed by the Imperials. Save your money.

I’m sorry you had this kind of experience, but in the multiple times I’ve been there I have not had this kind of treatment. In fact I’ve found the staff to be amazing, helpful, and very entertaining. Every visit is different, and unfortunately yours went this way. It is certainly not an experience for everyone. Maybe the Brown Derby Lounge is more your speed.
