It's not necessarily ozempic face, but weightloss face. In 2019, I went whole food plant exclusive no salt, oil, and sugar, and I have sagging skin on my neck and in my face. I have decided it's the reminder of where I was and where I am now. I lost 100+ lbs and reversed my diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease. 2018 I considered doing ozempic and I'm so glad I didn't.

I agree. No matter how we lose weight, a result is a decrease in fat that fills out our wrinkles. I think it might have been Elizabeth Taylor who said, "Every woman reaches an age where she has to decide between her ass and her face." Edit: my thanks to @dammar117, for the correction.

I don't think that's necessarily true. If you have maintained a stable weight, it shouldn't be the case. It's more those who fluctuate. A significant weight loss when you're older will cause sag.

As an RN these GLP 1 medications like Mounjaro, Wegovy and Ozempic have saved people's lives. Cardiovascular disease, diabetes, PCOS, and obesity are all diseases. Obesity for many especially with thyroid disorders and metabolic issues are not by any means calories in = calories out. These are complex physiological and environmental issues. These medications when taken properly for a specific period of time with healthy lifestyle modifications are life changing.

People taking those weight loss drugs like Ozempic need to be warned about their side effects like Gastroparesis. There is a chanel called 'Cronically Jackie ' she did not take Ozempic . She passed away from Gastroparesis.

My dermatologist told me years ago to never lose more than twenty pounds at one time. Your skin can take up to a year to adjust to even a small weight loss. If you don’t want to wind up looking like a Shar pei, don’t lose all your excess weight at once.

Absolutely!! I lost 20 lbs at 69 and although the 2 sizes smaller are 🎉( all new wardrobe) the skin sag was horrible.Now 71& I have gained 4 lbs back and it made a world of dif! The collagen loss(crepey skin) doesn't respond to topical creams etc so don't waste your mone y😂.

If possible, reach your ideal weight before menopause and strive to keep it that way. I know it's not easy for many, but prevention is key. I started to thicken around 48, in the first stages of perimenopause. I immediately took measures. Years later, I'm still at my ideal weight, with no gauntness. I'm sorry I can't give advice to postmenopausal women who are overweight, though.

Good Morning I am on Ozempic for bad blood sugar . In the last six months my blood sugar level is normal.It helped me. I did loose weight but my face looks the same.

The dosage is higher when the drug is prescribed for weight loss than it is when prescribed for diabetes. That’s why the side effects are more pronounced when the drug is prescribed for weight loss.

@JJ-ur9yp This isn't really true as I understand it from my doctors. It's actually lower. I actually believe this works differently than in people who actually have diabetes. I took it for 2 years before it was so popular for diabetes. I lost weight but not more than 12 lbs. I don't think I have an "Ozempic" face but I also have lost more weight when I added a newer form of exercise.

The artist did a nice job. I’ve had my face done at a makeup counter-I think Dior. It was a special day as they were training people so there were four people fussing over me! Each one did a different part of my face. They put me in their system but since then my phone number has changed. I’d have to remember a lot in order to go back and buy the face.

She looks great! I totally relate to what she said about feeling more complete with a bit of makeup. I've worn makeup since I was a young teen and I'm almost 76 years young now. Applying makeup is part of my morning routine. I'm pretty to begin with, and adding makeup enhances my beauty. People often tell me I look more like I'm in my 60s and I believe it's because I've taken care of my skin, inside and out, since I was young. Vitamins, moisturizer, makeup. It works! Stacy, you are beautiful without makeup but you kicked it up 3 notches with it on...vavava voom!!! I'll be trying some these products soon. My skin is so different now that I'm older. There are so many changes we experience as we age and especially as we pass through our sixties and seventies and thereafter. So having illness, medication and other factors creating complications and having us face these sometimes drastic changes is so very challenging. It is weight loss, no matter what drug you use! As a reminder to women, it’s easier (on the skin) to lose weight when younger! Your skin will bounce back but as you get older and wrinkles start to become more permanent, the skin will not bounce back and we’ll end up with (more) saggy, wrinkled skin! Stacy, you look beautiful with or without makeup. I am 70 and have had autoimmune issues for about 30 years for which I needed prednisone. I also have asthma and an issue with my airways collapsing. I'm already on a lot of medicine and now my doctor wants to put me on Rybelsus or Ozempic for my newly diagnosed Diabetes 2. I don't want to, but I want to enjoy foods I love like pasta, etc. What do you eat to satisfy your cravings. I have drastically cut out carbs and sugar for months now, but still crave those carbs. It has been so hard watching friends and family enjoying the food I love. My doctor says I can't reverse the diabetes especially with my strong family history.

Yes ozempic is also very dangerous. They lose muscle mass not fat mass. I have lost my weight on a meat heavy keto way of eating and reversed all metabolic diseases and have no sagging skin.

What you just said is not true! You will lose muscle mass if you do not exercise. Stop with the falsehoods. Ozempic reduces heart disease in women by 25% and also improves liver function. Also totally reduces your taste and desire for alcohol. I'm sick of all these mistruths. I have found no downsides at all.
