Robert Morris was m*lesting a little girl for 4 1/2 years, tried to take it a step further when she was 16, was found out and THEN was sorry, stepped down, and later 'restored." Later, his legal team tried to get her to sign an NDA. In his statements he downplays the severity and lied about how the girl and her father blessed him being restored. Every state would have required years of jail time but he just stepped down and came back to ministry two years later. His doctrine and associations were enough to not recommend him, but this situation and the details of its handling proves he is not qualified. He belongs in the pews not in the pulpit.
He can still be legally charged. There's no statue of limitation for people that work in the community. It wasn't a relative, so it's still open. Sue him. Speaks louder than anything. They're all about their money. Take it away from. Them and give it to the young gal

He was not in his "early twenties". He is 62 now, 35 years ago he was 27! He was almoat 30 assaulting a middle school child. He was in her home, she couldn't get away. Horrible 😢
He was 20 when it started, and it continued until he was 24. He told the 12 year girl that she couldn’t say anything. I'm a survivor of years of brutal rape and mo*station at the hands of my junior high and high school band director. This abuse lasted throughout my entire high school career 1980 - 1985. Years later, when I was in my 30s, my sister reached out to me and shared that one of his current female band students spoke up about his inappropriate s#%ual behavior towards her. The board of education conducted a thorough investigation and asked for former victims to come forward. I traveled back to my hometown to testify against my former band director. With over 40 women from various graduating classes, all having experienced the same treatment with no knowledge of the others being abused. He maintained his innocence, and HE NEVER SPENT A NIGHT IN JAIL! In fact, he was treated as the martyr! Talk about a slap in the face. Whether or not this abuse happened a long time ago or yesterday, those of us who were savagely victimized by his sick s*!ual abuse, we suffer the psychological and emotional effects for the rest of our lives.
That’s why these incidents must be exposed, warn others, turn the light on it then and sin will flee. I know at first you don’t know what to do, but as you get older speak on it. Do not hold not a secret, so many girls could have been saved from the band teacher.
That is so crazy - never a conviction. The school covered it up to protect the greater institution. I'm so sorry. As a long time (26 years) educator, that is very disappointing! I would die for my students if need be! I hope to God those teachers are plucked out and banned from being arnd children. That man had a very sick spirit, so demonic!
Wow! Even in admitting the details he did not own up. The victim would tell everything. Because it was a child, yes he should be a registered sex offender.
Men scream about church leadership and this happens repeatedly on their watch but they don’t report it. Repentance is about your soul, but his flesh needed to be punished. He should’ve gone to prison and been a registered sex offender.
Why is she telling this now? Her father knew, he was honest with his wife etc. Is blackmail the issue? Yes it was wrong and the father was wrong, if he forgave Bro Morris. Just wondering, sounds like sooo many wrongs, starting with Bro. Morris, but surely Childs family too. So sad😢😢😢💔

This is hypocrisy!!! He's had no scandals for over 35 years!!! Doesn't that prove he's a changed man? Christians believe Jesus can change the worst of people in society, but the same Christians are quick to hold someone to sins they committed several decades ago before they came to Christ. So which is it? Can Christ fully change a person or not? Again, he's had no scandals in 35 years!!! Is that not proof he's changed?

Okay first; I am so sorry that happened to you; that is repugnant and disgusting. Two; what Robert Morris did was repugnant and disgusting. Three; I think the statutes of limitations have probably passed. Four; if there is no restoration then there should be no pastors. Five; Robert Morris doesn’t need to actually get forgiveness from her; he needs to appeal. If she doesn’t accept that apology and forgive him (which she hasn’t or we wouldn’t be talking about this), that is now her sin. It’s a sin because we are commanded to forgive others sins to us or we will not be forgiven for our sins. His sin doesn’t continue because she refuses to forgive him. Six; he is still disqualified because his doctrine is Anti-gospel as he promotes the prosperity Gospel. So he is still disqualified.
The issue of Morris' sin was dealt with within the church; however, this does not satisfy the law of the land. Therein lies the problem now. Robert Morris broke the law of the land not just the laws of morality and God.

The way you people speak it's like once you commit a certain sin then you're done for life. Does Jesus not change people? What proof do you have that he is the same man from 35 years ago? He has had no scandals since then. Has Christ not changed him? So just because he committed that heinous act three decades ago he will forever be a "predator?" If you were arguing that from a worldly perspective I might give you some leeway. But if you claim to be a Christian, then taking such a position goes against what Christ teaches. 2 Cor 5:17 "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." Exactly! It's a sin that has been ONGOING for 35 yrs. He raped a child as a grown man with a family of his own. He kept raping this girl for several years. When found out, he offered her hush money. When she declined, he had his lawyer accuse that girl of "bringing the rape upon herself because she had been FLIRTHING". A 12-year old?! He kept revictimizing that child, and so did her parents and all church folk who knew about the molestation and DID NOT REPORT IT to the authorities and see that he faces justice. Hi Pastor Cory, I was involved with Gateway Church up until a few months ago, where for some strange reason (maybe this) I started feeling a distance in my spirit from this church. I started questioning some things in my mind and I just couldn't get past feeling like I needed to leave. I test all things so I hung in there and then this popped up. I was sitting in service as he told this story about sexual impropriety - he's brought it up several times. As you have stated, the major detail that was left out was the fact that this sexual impropriety was a criminal act with an underage girl. I'm just sick about this - not because it affects Robert, or Cindy (the victim), but all of the heartache that this will cause for everyone in the body. People whose affections are wrongly placed (i.e. on the Pastor) will fall away because of this. This hurts the entire body and it causes people to blaspheme God. Personally, I feel like I've been misled and lied to. About a year ago I felt like God was telling me he was going to topple institutions and raise up the "nobodies" in the highways and byways and eliminate the era of "Celebrity Pastors". Seems like that's coming to pass and this one hits very close to home. I'm no Robert Morris groupie and as you eluded to, I take issue with some of his doctrine, but I can't get past the feeling of being duped with respect to this. I do believe he loves Jesus and I'm sure he walks a very tight walk with God, but ... a crime was committed and essentially covered up and there's no way he's going to escape the dogma attached with this. He will be labeled a pedophile, a sexual predator and people will insist that he face some sort of legal repercussions for this and be labeled a sexual offender. Ironically several months ago, he told us that God told him it was time to "pass the torch" on to his son, James. Now people are going to think that he was trying to head this off at the pass. So sad. I'm with you in taking heed to my own walk. God is not fooling around.
I was also a member at Grand Prairie site and got a strange feeling when he stated in a sermon that he was/is dealing with sexual immorality. Something told me that he was still dealing with this and that it was coming out soon. I knew that it was children because he would never tell the whole story, but I thought it was boys honestly.... I knew last year when he was "sick" and had all these different speakers coming in that something was wrong. I had already stopped going when I learned he passed the baton to his son. It seemed sudden, but I knew something was about to come out because he was never at church, there was always a guest speaker, and then your son was groomed to takeover.
@@nashfordtx I'm glad you're awake my friend. Lines are being drawn and we have to stand for what is right. I can see that Gateway has no interest in doing so. Robert deliberately deceived the congregation in his confession and omitted that what he had actually done was a crime - hence the obfuscation of the "young lady's" age when this all took place. When this comes out to where everyone is made aware of what happened, they will probably lose a lot of the congregation and all that means to them (GW) is money. And THAT my friend, is obviously what is of concern to GW here. Money. I don't say any of this with a high hand - I'm sure Pastor Robert has 100 times the walk than I do with Jesus - he's obviously repented; my issue is that the church is not running to correct this and get it out into the open and deal with it according to the whole truth - they are hiding and rallying the troops around Pastor Robert and trying to pass this off as no big deal, he repented blah blah. The issue is that a criminal act was perpetrated on this young girl and there was an immediate effort to hide it and it still continues to be hidden and or downplayed. The backlash is going to be far worse because of that and I'm just sick about all of this...

A person with this mindset just doesn't lose attraction for kids, that's why they have to stay away or not be alone with them.
Agreed. Plus people who used the "Touch not God's anointed" excuse are taking it out of context as the only reason David said that about Saul was because Abishai was going to murder Saul in his sleep and David prevented that, and we people calling Morris out haven't wished death nor murder on him.
@saintsheepy6682 Exactly. Context is everything. Paul said it was reported to me in 1 cor 5. In other letters Paul mentioned Demas, Philetus, Alexander, and Hymenaeus and mentioned what they did. He was a 26 yr old married Pastor when his sexual abuse of a 12 yr old was found out. The molestation occured until she was 16. The leadership at shady Grove covered up the sin. How can we church goers trust that the elder boards at these churches will RIGHTLY judge the sins of a pastor/leader according to biblical standards (seen in 1 Tim 3; Titus 1; 1 Tim 5:19-25) and not show them favoritism because "he's a great man of God/he's charismatic/he brings in a lot of money," if the nature of the sin is not disclosed to us? Don't people who donate money to these men have the right to know who they are supporting? 🤔🤔🤔 How is it that Robert Morris was allowed to continue preaching and church members kept going to hear him?
Just asking because 1 Tim 5:20 (NIV) says an elder caught in sin is to be "rebuked publicly" .....I dont know what entails the "rebuke" but it seems like just sharing the nature of the sin (sexual, lying, stirring up mess) might cut down on confusion and gossip amongst the members and ministry supporters and allow them the necessary information to stop their financial support
Any church (including RM) that lawyers up and ask the child/family to sign and NDA is not even practicing true Christianing- they are a social club. They are covering up. I love what it says in the Word: What it is done in the dark will come to light. I wish the best for the victim.
Being an influential minister always guarantees some measure of protection of scrutiny within the churches of traditional Christianity. In a certain sense, that's why it pays to be a celebrity pastor. There is always going to be a group of ppl that don't really look at sin as being sin because they're caught up in someone's hype.
One great problem with it was he was in the ministry when committing the sins. Not before he became a Christian. Much harder to accept his being “eligible “ or “right” to hold a place over others. Should not have been reinstated.
Paul k1lled Christians and it took along time to convince some Christians he changed… However, this was a pastor already professing Christ that abused this young woman. So there is a huge difference between Paul’s conversion and repentance of sin, vs a leader in sin. Robert Morris should not be in leadership ever.
Of course if he violated a child, especially if he was a Christian, he is disqualified for ministry. How is this even a question? Who cares when it happened?
I remember hearing a story of a Pastor in America. Before THE LORD JESUS CHRIST saved him, he was a rapist. He said that he could not help himself but he cried out for help one day and from that day he stopped raping. He read THE WORD, his life was renewed, got baptised. For years several decades, he was preaching the GOSPEL. Then one day he was at a convention with Bishops and Pastors he knew and knew him very well. They were discussing about sins and he told them about his sin before he was saved by THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. The day, all his friends disappeared. They refused to take his calls, he was no longer invited to conferences, to preach because they could not get over that he was once a rapist! This is what some Christians don’t understand The Salvation THE LORD JESUS CHRIST gives. The vilest offender, who truly believes a moment with JESUS a pardon receives! And this is the situation. If you confess to THE LORD JESUS CHRIST and that is your past life leave it in the past. We have the HOLY SPIRIT within us so, we can test their spirit. Additionally, where is our forgiveness; knowing that the LORD JESUS CHRIST forgave us.
Wow! This is a shocker! I have heard his testimony of having a porn problem years ago, but messing with a child is an absolute NO NO! Yes, he can be forgiven, but to continue pastoring a church, he should step down, because this will NOT go away ever and he will never be known for anything else. I will pray for the woman who has dealt with this mentally almost her entire life. I will pray for Robert Morris as well ....
Wow that’s another layer😟 I understand that these people have a right to repent BUT even after he admitted to p@rn, he should have stepped down… that proves to me that he is a se*ual deviant. Very twisted and demented person
Paul was a murderer but after he became a great apostle. It is God who calls and qualifies. Only God can disqualify. Don't go to his church, don't listen to him. That is your choice. But to say that he has to step out of the pulpit!!!! Only his church members can decide. And even, nobody is forced to go to a church. Just switch and go somewhere else. Maybe on God's eyes, he is like someone who has never done something wrong. 2Co 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
You say it as if you are one to advice God. What is wrong with you Christians of today ( Or probably you are one of God's haters. That will make more sense). If the matter was settle 35 years ago when it happened, why the condemnation. Unless the girl in question is the one seeking retrubution, there is no reason for any of these condemning comments from people. The was settle by the people it concerns. Period
I don’t think we can say this in RU-vid comments, but from a legal standpoint this is a crime against a minor and the noun starts out as pedo….. It seems that in this case the state government is more clear eyed about this crime than the “denomination” who allowed him to preach.
With all due respect, the bible aside, he committed a criminal act against a child. He should be treated as criminal and serve jail time. More rhan likely there are more victims out there.
True repentance is being 100% honest about everything that was done. Not lying and telling half truths to cover yourself. Sooner or later these heretical teachers always get exposed. He should step down immediately!
Exactly. Full transparency would have been healthy for him too but it seems he was afraid of losing his job. That seems to be where his treasure is and thus his heart...

**HIRING A LAWYER to harass and blame the victim a child and trying to make her sign an NDA is NOT the fruit of REPENTANCE.** This Victimized Child Now a Woman should be COMPENSATED! He was allowed to get rich and NOT go to jail, that's the least he can do! True fruit of repentance is "sitting himself down" to not torment the victim to have to hear and see him everywhere...smh...PROTEST for this man to pay this Woman and to just retire and focus on his personal walk with God.
Although the Apostle Paul was a persecutor of the Church, his sin was done in ignorance and unbelief. It wasn't sexual in nature, so he walked in some integrity.
True but what about David who could hear God and yet slept with his friend’s wife and purposely put him in front lines to get killed? And Solomon and his hundreds of wives some pagan worshippers? Saul wanting to rid of David, Sampson not listening etx
Amen!!! This is so evil!! But not shocking ..God is Revealing everybody in 2024! The shaking will get even worse!! I just did a short expose video on my channel here too about Robert Morrris! I think it will, bless you 😊
@@edwardsfinancial Maybe read, study and memorize Matthew 18:6, Mark 9:42 and Luke 17:2, and especially 1 Corinthians 5:1-8, that perfectly sums up Morris fanboys, including you.
Agreed, step away from the pulpit…was there no one else better with integrity to serving and following God in the position of ‘Pastor’? If he had died, someone else would have had to be hired, what’s wrong with this church? This is why people think all christians are fake, they all behave like the world while they say they follow Christ…Not! They put God’s name in a bad place. This is not right, leader positions are held to higher accountability. Step down, don’t get in the way by casting a bad light on God so others don’t want God for themselves. If he behaves that way as a ‘Christian’, I don’t want any part of that, etc.

The right thing to do was not sit him down, rather it would have been to call Law Enforcement and let them investigate. Morris, when found guilty in a court of law, should have received a lengthy prison sentence.
Counseling, restoration, reconciliation, etc, NO,NO,NO…This is not a civil matter (although lawsuits can and maybe should follow). This is a criminal offense. This is a crime and should have been turned over to the law. Even the military has more sense than the church. For certain offenses you can lose rank and even be dishonorably discharged. What happened to the day when a church or denomination would revoke ordination papers?
Decades ago, I recall a situation whereby a close Christian friend revealed a pass behavioral sin prior to them coming to Christ. This caused a great inward struggle within me, changing the way I viewed, respected and valued that person. I found myself, unknowingly moving into unforgiviness when all at sudden, I heard a voice that I strongly believe was Jesus that said, "who are you to hold against them something I have forgiven them for?" I immediately broke down in sorrow and began to repent and asking the Lord for forgiveness. That person's past never bothered me again and to this day, they have been an awesome witness for Christ. I learned a very important lesson on how subtle the devil is in sowing seeds of discord in a person's heart, particularly a Christian.
I don’t think the primary issue is whether he is forgiven (and should be forgiven by us). The issue is does this (or should it have) disqualify him from being a pastor. I think yes. Even if he’s fully forgiven and we forgive him too, he is still not qualified to be an overseer.
@@mark0bravo Whether he should be allowed to pastor or not is the Lord's decisio. The gifts and callings of God are not unto repentance. I don't have the answer. I wonder what would be your position for someone who killed someone but later found the Lord, repented and accepted their calling to Pastor. Should they be allowed to Pastor?
@@bigead I think most people would agree that sins committed before becoming a Christian arent counted against your eligibility as a pastor. So in your example, yes they could, if they had repented and met all the other qualifications too. Robert Morris was already a Christian when this happened. And you’re right, it doesn’t change his teaching gift, but it definitely does disqualify him from the role of overseer.
@@mark0bravo Very good point! But I wonder, not focusing so much specifically on Pastor Morris, how much of our perspectives are influenced by today's culture (cancel culture) and not by the Word? Taking your example, there are likely a host of believers who in their infant stage of Christianity, committed sexual sins, whether that's sex with their significant other outside of marriage or any other sexual sins, theft (cheated on taxes) etc., would be disqualified from being a leader/overseer in the church. Do we not take into account the sanctification process by the Holy Spirit that moves the committed believer from looking and living like the world to looking and living like kingdom children, conforming to the Truth? As newborn babes, believers are very vulnerable for the mind doesn't get born again. It has to be renewed by the Word. So along with the flesh, it's still jocking for control of your body. I don't know the particulars of Pastor Morris, so I can't say what should or shouldn't happen but I am curious to know if we are truly rightly dividing 1Tim 3:2 and Titus 1:6,7. Does it mean If you committed any "reprehensible" act regardless if it was as a babe in Christ, 30, 40, 50 years ago, you are disqualified? I currently don't have the answer.
I agree. He should be sat down for all the reasons you stated--he's not above reproach, and he's not of good reputation. He acted like a predatory monster by betraying that family's trust, esp the father, since he's the head of the household, and he perpetrated a child, not a young lady. She was 12 when he started messing over her. And he was dishonest about what he actually did and lied to cover it up. And he's still lying about it. I can understand the now woman still talking about it, b/c she did not receive justice. It's hard to have been so egregiously violated and on top of that to see your perpetrator living his life with no consequences and the whole church behind him. I'd holler, too. IMO, this is coming up 35 years later b/c of unconfessed sin. The Lord does not tolerate persistence in sin. He said He'd "raise your robe over your head and expose your nakedness" if you did (said it to the Levites). God is serious about His Name and His little lambs. There are no exceptions. He whooped Nadab and Abihu, Hophni and Phineas, and King David and Moses, Aaron, and Miriam. He doesn't play. He is holy, and we must be holy. I hope all truly repent, Robert and the church that covered this mess up, and further attacked this woman via legal proceedings (even more egregiousness). And I hope the victim gets the healing and care she needs. Thanks, Corey, for your thorough, righteous, and fair assessment of and remedy for this horrible situation.
The parents made a choice back then, to speak with him and his father and they forgave him they supposedly said. But they said, they told the church he was pastoring back then, to never let him be over a church again. The church sat him down for 2yrs and he was pastoring again. This is why the family is speaking out now. The child is grown now and speaking out, that she was only 12 and not a young lady as he stated. The Family should have had him arrested, and he would have been put on the registry as a pedophile. Then he could have repented in prison, serving his time. He should not have been allowed to be a Pastor again over no church again. Forgiveness is okay, the family spoke with him back then and chose not to prosecute him at their own will to do so. He should have been prosecuted and the crime justified for their daughter. The parents didn't prosecute him. He was sat down for only 2yrs. That's horribly wrong by the church, he should have never been allowedl to pastor again over a flock, this was a child. God forgive all yes of our sins. This is how the Catholic church did, they allowed these priest, to be moved from perish to perish, as these priest continued to assault young boys for decades over and over again. None of these priest ever went to prison. The families of these children assaulted were paid off for the assaults. The families took the money and settled. Pastor Morris should not have been allowed to still Pastor, because of the harm it brings in light of the church, the people who now know everything. The church us now in a uproar today. Tony Evans confessed sin, from years ago and now the church is in a uproar today, over his unknown past sin. See how their old sin has the churches in a uproar today. God forgives yes, but they should be sat down for good, because of the aftermass of the uproar of the church right now.
@@blazee3895 okay, but truth as it was written, the parents ABSOLUTELY! did not call the police, have him arrested; locked up for the justice of their child, where he would have been put on the registry as a pedophile for life!. They made a choice, to not prosecute this man back then. The parents talked to him and told the church to not allow him to Pastor or be around children. But the parents made a grown folks decision to not prosecute this man, for assaulting their daughter. So that had to be forgiveness because they didn't have him locked away like most parents would have. It's not my word this is the statement that was read and wrote. They didn't have the man locked up when they found out. So don't get mad at me, this is what was read. I'm done here. God forgives us of our sins, yes, but the parents could have gotten more justice for their daughter, by having him locked away. So they forgave him by not prosecuting him. That's what they decided not to do. I said what I said and that's it. Byyeee!.
@@blazee3895 I said that in all my post, he should have went to prison I said that many times. If it had been my 12 yr old child, he would have been prosecuted and did his time in prison and they would have put him on the pedophile registry for life. My prayers go out to all families affected. God has the say so of it all I'm done and God be with everyone.
If he was not embarrassed of it, even if his embarrassment was personal to himself, then he is still the same internally. Mistakes is one thing we all make them, and some mistakes should be a one time event, then move on from it knowing in your heart it was wrong and should be deeply saddened by it. Covering up a act in this degree though is not moving on from a one time moral failure. Actions speak louder than words.
I'm thinking about the survivor of this crime and what kind of message the decisions sent to her all of those years ago. So, a group of people decided he needed to sit down, and basically, it never needed to be mentioned again. Then, two years later, he's up again completely restored. Meanwhile, the message to the survivor is that her perpetrators value was greater than justice for her. If (if it's true, ) her father went along with this......who was she to feel affirmed by or turn to if she felt wronged by it all? Her natural protector was aligned against her in the decision-making process. (Once again, if that part is true). So, he groomed her parents and manipulated her to the point of fear for 4 years and it was flossed over. Okay, they missed the mark 30 years ago, and no charges can be brought, but they need to get it right this time. Burns me up that his church starts off explaining this situation by prefacing it happened 30 years ago (gaslighting the public)........what does that have to do with it??? That makes it no less heinous!!! His survivor is a REAL person. She mattered then, and she still matters. I'm sorry yall, I'm a therapist and there are so many men and women who went through all types of abuses as children. They are left seeking support mostly because they were left to feel worthless because when the safe adults in their life became aware of the abuse in one way or another they were told shhhhhhh. They were told how the exposure could ruin the perpetrators life (whether relative or some other person). So they learned to suffer in silence and prioritize others value above their own. Then people wonder why some adults have low self-worth......they received the message somewhere........😢
Thank you for thinking of the victim and how she would have felt and thought as a young girl. My heart breaks for her and I pray she received healing from Christ.
An affair with an ADULT 35 years ago is one thing. But grooming a child means I would never ever trust you around kids. Children are in church and they should not be around adults that could possibly harm them. And this is more than a moral failure as described in that written statement. It's a crime.
What about the victim? How was she taken care of, along these years ? Even if he is forgiven what about this life that was broken and damaged ? It is not only a ministry issue. If he was truly repentant he would have done everything to care, and repair the damage that he caused.
I saw a church sign a few years ago that read, " Make a mistake once a mistake, make a mistake twice it's a decision". Now the record states this went on for four and a half years. Make no mistake this was not a simple one time mistake for him, this was his way of life.
The question is why people wait so long to confess to a sin and then expect people to not feel some type of way .He waited because he knew he would loose everything before he got started good ( selfishness) so he is not repentive nor does he feel bad ,because it was 35 years ago and if he retired it wouldn't make him no mind
@@SamuelQuaye-zs4uc No he didn't confess. The girl told her parents and the parents told the church elders. He NEVER confessed. He later told the church he had an affair with a young lady but didn't disclose any details. He's STILL lying.
According to the word of God it seems that he is disqualified. He hid it, he faced no consequences, and he just now repented of it publicly. The statute of limitations has run out but she can sue him in civil court. I may be wrong but I suspect it was getting ready to come out which is why he tried to "get ahead of it." I dread the rest of this horrible story as well as others that are likely, not guaranteed but likely, to come forth. This is horrific. The length of time and the nature of the predation as well as the way he's trying to soften it is very reprehensibly telling. She. Was. 12. Years. Old. I'm getting queasy just typing this out.
Robert Morris 🥺🙏🏾 Exposure is on a all time high with some of these pastors darkness all secrets are being revealed God knows the right timing for revelation to come to full light this is sad pray for his family the members and it's the godly thing to do let us all pray but give all Honor and Glory to our Lord .Amen? Amen 🙏🏾🙋🏾♀️
Usually, there’s never just 1 instance. He should still go to jail and he definitely shouldn’t be a minster, and technically he should have to register as a sex offender. A minister should be above reproach, I believe a ministers LIFE should be above reproach.
Wow this really is the year of exposure for many that are well known Pastors and Bishops 😭this is why it’s so important to have a personal one on one relationship with God, and be on a spiritual level not a religious one💯
Be jailed for something he committed 35 years ago? He hasn't had any scandals since then. Does Jesus not change people? So because he mol***ed a child 35 years ago his identity must forever be tied to that incident? Fake Christians!!!
My main issue with this whole situation is the “cover up” the “concealing” of this pastors sin . Does anyone know what those words mean? They represent “occult”. This behavior is straight up witchcraft right in the church . I have been in churches where leadership have covered up for a pastor, and it never ends well 😢 Bring it into the light like Jesus says to, and then it loses its power!🙌🏼⚔️☦️❤️
Speaking from experience, what some people doesn't realize, is that there are things that people do to you and when they have forgotten all about it, you're still dealing with the trauma.
my question is Why does he have to be a pastor again? sure I believe he can have full forgiveness with repentance. But why cant these fallen pastors go dig ditches, work in a factory, sweep streets,etc... and serve the Lord . it seems like most of these celebrity pastors act like secular work is below them.
Im just shocked that the church didn't ask him to step down. He went to them as he should have, but knowing he caused harm to a 12 y.o. child my question is why didn't he step down on his own like Tony Evans did? Is he a true Christian? Just because he went to her parents and they forgave him, doesn't mean anything. They are true Christians and forgave him as they should of because only God can judge him. He has also cheated on his wife and was once an alcoholic. I use to watch him and he has stated these short comings.
He was a pastor at the time as well! He hurt a child! He is disqualified and no surprise! He teaches a different gospel! He wouldn’t have influence if people read their bibles. He was permanently disqualified then and is now to be an Elder of Gods people
Hello Pastor Corey, I am glad you have shifted your focus off of studying unsaved persons, especially celebrities and the gross sins that they commit. Because they are lost and slaves to the devil, the world and their flesh and sometimes cannot do anything else better than what they do. But you are focused on Christians living righteously and encouraging us to do so. Remember what the Bible tells us in Proverbs 28:19 "He that tilleth his land shall have plenty of bread: but he that followeth after vain persons shall have poverty enough." Thanks for staying focused on the word of God.
