I use Pattern products on my son’s hair before and after his two strand twist. Out of every celebrity hair products I believe Tracee’s is the best ♥️♥️ he also has a more coarse texture.

I have to agree with that. Hers has been the best I am interested in the melanin haircare but I have too many hair products to get through already an its a pretty penny so ill have to save up to try it.

PLEASE SET UP THE STOREEEE QUEEN! I don’t know why some RU-vidrs have mounds of product and not try to give it away to supporters or for significantly cheaper. I would definitely support and gladly pay shipping .

You really need to wash up with the Intense Conditioner after using that Treatment Mask. Gets rid of that squeaky feel, and brings back SO MUCH MOISTURE. I really think not using a conditioner after using the treatment mask skewed your results. My favorite conditioner is the INTENSE.

I came here to say the same thing. It's a mask, similar to a protein treatment. You have to do a deep conditioner after, specifically the intensive conditioner for her hair type. Overall, she did a great review.

I just used that treatment last night it really brought back my curls where had a few straight ends after a flat iron style. Plus, as you said, I used the rinse out conditioner afterwards. I just love Pattern; everything was well thought off.

Pattern is my go to! I’m at the point in my hair care journey where I don’t want to experiment with every new thing. Pattern’s shampoos and conditioner (heavy) has proven itself to be made for me and I look forward to washing my hair each time! I love how intentional the products are! @@nyrie2005 Type 4 hair and 4c are very different. I have 3c/4a/4b hair and I categorize myself as type 4. How about you get educated on hair types instead of telling others to not be difficult.

The curl custard is too lightweight, but the curl cream for twist outs or the detangling nectar are a little heavier for wash n gos.

That treatment mask is one of my holy grails. I use it first on dirty hair to give my hair some moisture and strength before I shampoo. Then I shampoo and use deep conditioner. When I tell you my hair be feeling and looking pampered!

Love your videos and your hair is gorgeous! I don’t think the treatment mask is a “deep conditioner.” The directions say to use a conditioner after rinsing it out. You may want to give it an another try. I used it before shampooing as a treatment and my hair loved it!

I love the treatment mask before using a deep conditioner. My hair gets really shiny. I’m not a fan of the smell of the detangling nectar so I gave it away. With a good DC I don’t need the extra detangling step. Thanks for the feedback on the styling products. I was definitely curious.

I like the styling cream and mousse together. I have good wash and go's when i pair them together. The custard was just ok to me.

The Treatment mask is like an Aphogee treatment - it is really good, especially after coming out of straight hair. So since it is not a deep conditioner you have to do a rinse out conditioner. The detangling nectar is a prepoo. Also, I hate to be like that Pattern expert-the Styling Custard is more for twist outs, coil outs and braid outs not wash and gos.

I wouldn't compare the treatment mask to the aphogee two-step protein treatment. I like pattern, but I honestly look at them sideways with that product. It feels like they're trying to 'trick' people into thinking it repairs hair because it contains polyquaternium-37 which boosts curls (is in a lot of gels a mousses). It can also potentially cause build up because you're only washing it out of hair rather than shampooing it out. With aphogee, they disclose the low pH too.

I basically was trying to explain that it is a treatment mask as Aphogee is a treatment, and both of their directions say to use a conditioner afterwards. She needed a conditioner afterwards

I too see the Treatment Mask as more of a protein treatment: I’ve gone through two containers of it, and it really works to strengthen strands and bring hair back to life if you feel you’ve been using a lot of dye or whatever; I like it better than Aphogee (but agree, it’s very similar). And I believe it even says on the jar that you’re supposed to follow-up w a moisturizing conditioner (don’t know why she used it as a deep conditioner - I think maybe the word “mask” throws some folks off: It’s definitely not a conditioner in the traditional sense; you’re supposed to treat your strands with the product, then use a softening conditioner - just like u do w Aphogee).

I consider it a protein treatment because it does have protein in it, it's just that the polyquaternium-37 in it causes me to give it so much sideye (so it's hard to tell if it's the cationic polyquat or the protein that makes the hair look clumped and healthy). The reason I wouldn't compare it and ApHogee is because of formulation differences like this but protein is something they have in common.

I love Pattern and I use the detangling nectar with the Doux mouse and I get soft curl wash n gos. I have 4b hair and I don't like or need the crunch. So that combination really works for me. I learn something about my hair every time I watch one of your hair videos and this time I learned that the reason my roots are poofy is because the brush is moving the product out of the roots to the ends. So before I even apply the product I'm going to brush it first.
