Can you walk around Pisa?
Is it worth spending a day in Pisa?
To help you answer these questions, you’re invited to discover Pisa Tuscany with us in our relaxed walking tour video where we explore this historical Tuscan city beyond the infamous Leaning Tower of Pisa.
We’ll also share some helpful tips along the way that will assist you in making the most of your Pisa visit, so you spend less time thinking about what to do in Pisa and enjoy the experience.
In this video, we'll take you on a journey through Pisa's historical streets, quaint piazzas, relaxing gardens, and showcase the serene Arno River.

Highlights shared in this video.
Pisa Train Station Tip
We explain why Pisa Centrale Train Station may not be the best station for you to start your Pisa day trip.
Piazza Dei Miracoli (Also Known As Piazza Del Duomo)
This beautiful piazza is home to not only the Leaning Tower of Pisa, but also the stunning Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, the Baptistry, and the Camposanto Monumentale-a UNESCO World Heritage Site that's a masterpiece of medieval architecture.
Visit To Our Old Neighbourhood
We take you for a stroll alongside the beautiful Arno River before revisiting our old neighbourhood of Garibaldi.
Our Favourite Sicilian Café
We visited many cafes whilst living in Pisa, and in our opinion, this is the BEST café with the most delicious Sicilian pastries and gelato.
Giardino Scotto
We visit the 15th century fortress and its beautiful gardens that most visitors to Pisa don’t even know exist.
Delicious Pizza Lunch (Budget Friendly Restaurant)
As Budget Travellers, we’re always on the lookout for where to eat that offers the best value, so when it comes to where to eat in Pisa, we’ll show you one of our favourite Pisa restaurants, and it’s just metres away from the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
And much, much more …
There's is so much more to discover in Pisa Tuscany, and we only just scraped the surface.
So, join us on our walking tour of Pisa Italy as we uncover the beauty of this historical city and showcase why one day in Pisa is never long enough.
And finally, if you’re asking "Is Pisa safe?", from our experience, we would say yes it is generally safe, but as everyone has a different perspective on what ‘safe’ means, we’ll leave it to you to do your own research and decide for yourself.
