Global chat in PokeMMO is a bunch of toxic 12 year olds. People ask questions and constantly get mocked or people messing with them. Childish as hell

This is honestly one of the only games I play anymore consistently over the past few years. I love being able to jump between mobile and laptop and having progress shared. Plus gamefreak made these beautiful animated gen 5 sprites of every single Pokémon gen 5 and backwards that most Pokémon fans never got to see all of. And I love that they made that presentation the default. Plus the global chat is fun to just mess around in. The connection of the regions, and the unique things about each one really does make it feel like a world. You can rebattle trainers after a certain amount of time, and there’s a global trading market with in game currency, so it’s actually really easy to make a dream team of Pokémon that have no business being in a certain region. That stuff just tickles my cold heart. It’s the only game where I think the mobile version is the superior experience. It has an android app, and an iOS app if you’re willing to mess around with something like altserver. It’s worth your time. It’s maybe not for everyone, but if it’s your thing, it hits hard.

Definitely the MMO aspects makes the game feel special. Yes, the endgame is grinding but it's at least sufficient enough to be rewarding and sharing it with friends is cool. Nothing beats linking the shiny after you hunted it for a long time!

As a new player as someone who never played a Pokémon game before or even watched more than a few episodes more than 20-years ago, I can say that it will be a bit rough in the beginning, there are a lot of thing to learn and explore. However once you learn the basics you will progress and learn new things pretty fast, because most of the gameplay-mechanics aren't really that deep, in retrospec they are quite inuitive and logical, at least most of them compared to other more modern games.

This is the only game that I can play at my own pace and not feel FOMO like gacha games and other mmos. Its so relaxing and comforting playing your childhood game with many others.

I played Pokemmo for the last 2 weeks because I got friends to play it with. I had lots of fun with the game even though it's difficult and progressing on the Pokemon together feels like a real journey and personally this is the best mmo I have ever played in my life

The one issue I have with the game right now is the difficulty curve. Not everyone is pro competitive level player, so the altered gym difficulties and level cap really has me stumped the 2 regions I have the most progress in. I can't beat crasher wake because he has moves that cover ALL his weaknesses as well as one shot even higher level pokemon. I have a full team of pokemon that shouldn't have an issue and even avoid being super weak, AT THE LEVEL CAP, he one shots them with weak moves. That should have an option if they are going to alter the difficulty like that.

Agree, yet I get told to get "good" and use "OP" pokemon that counters all of them, as if my bond with my pokemon don't matter :/

I'm brand new to the game. Focusing story and only completed 2 zones. I'm not sure how to tell if I beat the Elite 4 in a specific zone. I do suggest trying to make friends in the game though, I don't currently have any sadly so I've been kind of all on my lonesome, but it would help to be able to trade back and fourth and just roam around with one another.

@@realdynammo Well damn after spending 100+ hours in the game I got perm banned for buying 4 dollars worth of pokedollars i randomly came across on a site while i was looking for mmo content... didnt know at all how big of a deal that was and lost all 6 accounts(alts for berry farming)... had spent a lot more buying rp ingame but looks like im not playing anymore 🫠 time to play pokerouge i guess

Well for 1 there is a lot to do, and you can play with friends, and yes it is an mmo, it’s for new players, maybe even older people playing due to nostalgia and don’t play many other games let alone know the meaning of an MMO. So I say it’s a great video!

Started last week, enjoyed the first beginning hours of the regions, sadly I quit because I'm a casual player and the custom pokemmo AI of the gym leaders became to difficult for me no matter how much I tried, but nonetheless it was a fun experience!

Before I had gotten to an elite four myself I had invited some friends who were less experienced with pokemon to play and some of the battles are just too difficult for casual players to tackle on a playthrough they're just doing for fun using pokemon they like. Going back and trying again doesn't fix that.

does it have convenience features such as quick battles. I played pokemon scarlet for a bit and I really liked the fact you can grind faster by getting your pokemon to auto attack out in the field.

That is basically it, on top farming for some cosmetics through tough challenges and that is about it. We barely got Johto, community seems min max heavy, as many bash me for getting Zubat on new fresh Character lol

Hi there, just searched the game and saw this video. I played the game last year and got addicted. Got banned for playing multiple accounts( got obsessed on earning in game money, grind nonstop, gym reruns in pc, while shiny hunting in my android phones, while egg breeding. Wtf haha) The game is good, like really. The only thing makes this game not worth it is it gets boring after endgame. And coming back is will make you think twice if you want to go to *that* rabbit hole again.

I had to reinstall the MMO app on my Phone, I had the files for the game still and my account is still fine. But I cannot find any string files and the text box for the pokecenter is empty and missing a lot of text with NCPs. Any help or guidance where to go to get them securely? Just the string files I have the game files playing fine

You talked a lot but said nothing, i am not saying pokemmo isn t cool but wtf are u talking about? What game community doesn t help each other? Let s take pokemon games for example, most of them have forums (because they re not mmo) and people help each other ALL THE TIME. Also you contradict yourself in many ways, ”there is something in this game for everybody and so, it s not for everybody”, that s the most obvious one but your video have lots of them. You either have issues expressing yourself or you just don t know how to lie. Conclusion: You didn t said anything about if in 2024 it s still worth playing, you didn t talked about new features, you didn t talk about events in 2024, what are the players doing now, also you exagerate A LOT, that makes you less believeble, honestly I wanted to play pokemmo again but right now from your video looks like this ”amazingly friendly community” is all that s about in this game.
