You're spoiling us absolutely rotten this week. Three videos, no less! These stories are very interesting indeed, despite being not very reactor-y. I cannot believe that people are so stupid to venture down into that basement to take selfies with piles of highly radioactive clothing. These people know nothing, and do not understand one does not mess about with the Laws of Physics. And if they're this radioactive so many years after the accident, we can only imagine how high the levels must have been when the firefighter were brought in from the station.
Haha, you're right :D As for the danger, the radiation level is actually pretty safe, all depends on where you stay and for how long, of course. You're ought to have a counter on you all the time (best two or three per person). Crumbling buildings are definitely more dangerous!
Great video. Yes, in the game you made the hospital and the residential areas real creepy. I hated when I had to go there. Where can I watch the short movie you mention, "Catastrophe of Time"?
@@Chernobylite Awww poor pups. Im glad that people are kind to them. Are they the descendants of the dogs abandoned when Pripyat was evacuated? If so they must be some tough dogs.
Some of them for sure, but I don't think all of them - the Zone is naturally less hostile for dogs who learned how to live on their own. Less people, less attention. But less food too, though, until they learn how to get it in this new place. Same principal applies all around the world. Worst case scenario: they start to hunt in packs, but they're not as afraid of humans as wolves for example. So even in the Zone you have to watch out, but usually a lot less than in other "wild" areas, cause the dogs still have some decent and positive interactions with people :-)
