We've been travelling a lot to Chernobyl Exclusion Zone to gather materials to make the ultimate experience. We bring you a deep, emotional story, an engaging experience, and a visually stunning recreation of the Chernobyl area!
I hope the second game is better than the first. I found Chernobylite to be very boring after around 15 hours. Just visit the same places over and over again to complete one task each time and if you're lucky, A few secrets (more talking). Stalker 2 would be the one to buy in my opinion
We are ready to support you. Wish you good luck on your project, The Farm 51. Can you tell me the amount of price? I want to help you by pre-ordering the game :)
Will miss the other videos (and you can do only so much of them since at some point you'll run out of content to cover) but the more I see of the new game, the more I want to play it. It is clear that the new Unreal engine can do a lot more than the older one. The open world appeals a lot to me, and that monster (re-)assembling itself with the famous Claw gives off some serious Transformer vides, I greatly approve! That big Unit-5/6 crane coming to life, and walking towards you, though...😱
If you have not already or they have not, should reach out to epic and I'm almost sure they would be will to help with some of the things regarding optimization and what not. Cant wait to give you my money, I better get bruises on my knees while playing from hitting them on my desk from jump scares 🤣 like the first game
But will there be multiplayer lol (the first one is one of my favorite games of all time and def my favorite indie game ever keep up the good work guys!)
I can’t believe this is how I figure out you’re making a sequel, while I’m playing it on Xbox lol. I know you’ll do great and it’ll be amazing, I love the game
I have some Questions: I know is way, WAY too early for a concrete answer. However, the announcement trailers have me a little worried. One of the appeals of Chernobylite, aside from a fantastic atmosphere and cool story, was the horror and tactical approach to combat. The trailers however, stroke me more as say Metal Gear Survive/The Division approach to the sequel. And in your answer on the first person locked into exploration and not combat did caused me to catiously approach the sequel. 1-Are we gonna see the Sequel appeal more to the looter/extraction crowd? 2- Are there any plans whatsoever to have first person in combat or at the very least implent an ironsight system when zooming in for more accurate/immersive shots? 3- Will we see an expansion to the RPG elements as in different conversation/quest path/factions and an expansion on the skill tree or make our own build? 4- I see a lot of melee combat/weapons. Will stealth and guns be viable or is melee the true gameplay mechanic? 5- If melee is gonna be the way to go I assume there will be (sadly) weapon durability. Will there be a limit to how many times we can repair our weapons/equipment?
1. No, sequel is still RPG horror, but probably less horror than the 1 one because of scale and open world. Still its RPG games and not a looter shooter od extraction game
I can't wait for the 2nd game, tho the most important thing for me is the story. The 1st game focus on romantism and that twist on the end were what made this game so unique and awesome. Will such elements be present in the 2nd? What can you tell us about the story? Thanks!
Babe, wake up. The Farm 51 uploaded. You do an outstanding job with your videos. I like listening to you. :) Thank you for this rather personal and private view at the game and its development. You guys are so talented! I hope this time we get a better controller support on consoles. This may sound rude but the controls were clunky and something was off with the X and Y axis. Please give us options like left and right stick deadzone, trigger deadzone, response curve, adjustable aim assist and seperate sensitivities for aim and movement. This was my biggest complaint when it comes to the first game. It runs perfectly fine but it plays super clunky. So this would also be my question for the people working on controller support. Thank you! 💕
@@Chernobylite Thank you for answering all the time. I updated my comment a bit after watching the video. I love the effort you put into educating people about this place and its history. I watched all of those videos. 😘
@@Chernobylite Mad respect for doing this series. It might not have millions of views but it is educational. And these videos will never become irrelevant. One suggestion I want to make would be a "life in Pripyat" video or even series. Maybe you can find some archived material from before April 26. There are some videos but maybe you can find more with the experience you have. :)
The one thing I would already be happy with is being able to swap left/right trigger for aim/shooting. As a southpaw it is a huuuge annoyance when you cannot switch the triggers. In the past, I understand there may have been some issues with limits to the hardware/ programming. But in this day and age, trigger swapping should be a standard option by now. It will make the game even better!
Loved the first game! I play often when I want to revisit the Zone, especially with the new explore mode. I can't possibly imagine how insane the new one will be! Will there be a collectors edition or any cool pre-order stuff for 2? I missed out on the plushie the first time due to budget constraints, would love something for this game ❤
Happy to hear that, buddy ^^ As for the collector's edition - honestly no idea yet. Maybe we will make some limited "premium" physical edition, but it's too soon for us yet. Back with the first game, with Kickstsarter, it took 3 people weeks to organise, pack and distribute the gifts, so about 10-15% of the team (it was about 25/30 people at that point). So if we would make these again (our own, internally created physical edition), it will be a lot better prepared. That's why it's still to be decided yet :D Hope this answers your question 😅
Hey bud! Honestly can't tell that now, but I know our team did record real firearms - it was later tweaked to match the gameplay. However weird it may sound, the real gunshots don't sound like people expect them in a gameplay :D
Thank you! No plans on rushing it, but we have pretty good workflow - that's an upside from keeping all the same people from the first part and accumulating the tech and knowledge ^^
the s.t.a.l.k.e.r. franchise may present some fantasy elements, but keeps some nice atmosphere in it with the factions and other aspects. chernobylite flows in a different perspective, not bad, but honestly may not be for the same audience. this gave me a "generation zero meets remnant in the exclusion zone" vibe, which im not a fan, but hoping to be an enjoyable experience though.
@@Chernobylite yep, I have the latest version. The only solution I found is, at least in PS4, tapping home button repeatedly in the last loading screen of the simulation.
Well, actually... a lot can be said too that the current war is a result of the accident in an indirect way. Countries like Germany and also Netherlands and Belgium have been getting more and more dependend on natural gas and the pipelines for it from Rusia were build to get the cheap gas from Rusia here. Without it, we would have probably continued on the paths that were started to continue building and expanding on nuclear fuels and green energy. This would have made us much less dependend on gas from Rusia. Both not expanding investing money to get the gas from Putin - and paying for the war-building - but certainly also have rejected more things from Putin like just taking over the Crim from Ukrain and probably investing more into letting Ukrain in our union and trades. Since this war has very big economic and polical effects, well the costs and impacts of the disaster have been huge, even a lot more then you tell about in this video. Very hard to calculate though.
Exaclty - even with an event of this magnitude is impossible to precisely calculate how much did it impact us today exactly. It's like a butterfly effect - the connection of so many entangled events is impossible by changing just one. So it calculating the cost of the disaster that happened almost 40 years ago :-)
That 1986 footage of Gorbachev on TV took me right back to my 15-yr old self. I remember that footage like it was yesterday. The whole thing was a big flippin' deal here. We couldn't eat anything from our gardens, in particular things like lettuce. Farmers had to throw away their milk, and those that had just harvested their spinach, had to bin the lot. The Chernobyl accident was a very sizeable nail in the coff*n of the Soviet Union, to say the least. It was one huge bill they could ill-afford. I truly enjoy these videos, although I do miss the reactor-y bits a little^^ Maybe some day you can do a video on how they have improved the RBMK's safety after the accident? 😇 The more I see about the new game, the more stoked I am to play it. Keep up the excellent work!
Yeah, me too - rather from the history lessons, but I was born close to it :-) As for the more technical episodes - sure! But probably much later, now we will focus more on the upcoming game and maybe return to those later, after the first, "hot time" will pass ^^
I'm glad you guys listned to the prior feedback where a comment on a previous video mentioned the lack of 1st person, It's always nice to have a choice, game looks stunning. I for sure prefered the first half of the video
