I've read this quote about "The Godfather": "Great books must be read, great music must be listened to and great films must be watched". This quote is just a great summary of this video. This movie's deservedly a huge classic. Lately, I've been wondering what being a woman means to me. The conclusion is, of course, very personal to me, but let's say that I finally got the answer I needed.

Cool. I really liked this insight into your life. This broadens my view about you. As for the godfather, I enjoyed the topics you picked out of this, to then combine them with a philosophical background. I think for many it's hard "to think for themselves", which is why it's refreshing to listen to others, who know what they are talking about.

Prohibition ended in 1933. The events in The Godfather take place between 1945 and 1955.

Yes, but I'm not sure you're considering that Prohibition only referred to mostly Alcohol. Drugs, Gambling, Prostituton and many other Products stayed illegal for a lot longer & some are still to this day. Also, the Godfather is fiction, it's not based on real events so the dates obviously don't have to realign exactly What the products are that are prohibited don't matter that much. The Mafia will still deal with it, wich basically becomes a big plot point in the movie as well

Amazing vid man on the godfather and it does bring up some good stuff tbh even life stuff in a way and plus the laws of todays world is stupid because at the end I’ll rather sort out my own situation then someone else do it for me like how they make us tell the police everything and also from godfather movies I’ve seen I can tell I’ve learnt some stuff from it ngl even some parts of 48 law of power is in it

I have to say the movie-all three of them are longer than they need to be.But Coppola is a visionary so if he thinks this is better it must be for a reason.Too much action can make movies dull. The scene when The Godfather tells Johnny[probably] not to cry like a girl is a sign of manhood and stoicism.Whether crying in that situation is good or not is another topic. I actually saw three of them in three days-so I forgot half the from the movies lines.I will watch them again,and maybe someday,I will understand the movie.It is obvious this is not a dumb kids action movie.[Looking at you Marvel] It is the complete opposite. I was very surprised to see that Part ||| only got 7.6 IMDB rating.Should have been 8 at least.

It's not, sadly. To be honest, right now I hardly make any money from RU-vid. Like maybe 20$/month... I just make sure I put all I have into the channel, besides my job of course. Leaving me with hardly any free time left :P That being said, I enjoy making videos, so that helps💪🏽

@@TheMeaningOfNerd That is one of the best counter - arguement to trolls I have seen.Although the general rule is to ignore them. Nowadays there is a thing called trolling the trolls,which is also interesting.
