For those who dont know, DHT is the male hormone that is linked to hair loss. The hormone actually lives on the scalp. Rosemary oil and Pumpkin seed oil can be applied topically to block the DHT.
@@countyjay7651 you should apply before every hair wash for approximately 1-4 hours. You can just but thr pumkin seed oil capsules. Break one open and apply the oil to ur scalp... and then wash with shampoo after letting sit for a few hours. Or you can buy rosemary oil. But rosemary oil needs to be dilluted. Add a few drops to carrier oil like Almond Oil, Jajoba Oil, Argan Oil, even olive oil works.
@@countyjay7651 it's recommended to keep it on your scalp for 2-3 hours. Then wash it off. If you keep it overnight, It'll make your scalp oily and will do more bad than good.
@@campcop9214It is tho, as pumpkin seeds are mostly fat. If it was a food that isnt high in fat sure, but you can easily eat pumpkin seeds daily and get the same as a few pills of oil. My dermatologist even recommend I eat 10 seeds a day, saying it is equivalent to around 1000mg of oil. Many also apply the oil to their scalp instead. Ofcouese if you wanna go all out, you could use it on your scalp, take the oil in a pill form or even drink it, AND eat roasted pumpkin seeds with pumpkin seed oil used to roast 😂
I met a Indian man in the store today, had his hair in the sleekest cutest low man bun. I gave him compliment he persisted to tell me his hair was down to his ankles then said simply pumpkin seed oil and that's how I ended up here on this video🙄 Sold!!!
I use it externally. Fenugreek works too. I made a spray with Fenugreek and Flax Seeds. Give my hair a spray every time I look in the mirror. Then I use Pumpkkn seed oil on my scalp. I can't take it orally cause I'm on Coumadin. Yes, it definitely makes your hair fall out. I can have a few seeds to. I think. Anyway my hair is growing. Use 2Tablespoons each Fenugreek and Flax seeds. You'll need a old stocking to squeeze oil the Flax seeds. They're slippery. You can save this stuff and reuse. I think you use a cup of water. You want to get your sauce pan boiling. Turn it down to like 2 or 3. Simmer 15 min. Then take off the burner. Let sit and cool. The Flax can turn into a gel. But this about we use here. It won't. I have made Flax seed gel. Use it on your skin your hair to set your hair. It gives your hair volume and moisturizer. Your hair might feel crunchy. But it's not. Don't worry. Just scrunch it. Some of your better hair and skin care products use Flax. Flax did make my eyebrows grow. My hair is filling in. It's not gonna happen overnight. But you should see growth in about 2 weeks to 4 weeks. The more you use the spray. The faster it'll show results. Pumpkin seeds are good to prevent kidney stones, I believe. Hope this helps.
@@jill3686 oh yes I've been using flax seeds and fenugreek for years in my hair and aloe but now I'm in Africa I don't have access to these things. Thankyou so much for telling me all the preparation, I've actually been preparing it for a long time. At one time I was preparing it and sharing it with other. After I boil the fenugreek and remove the juice I like to blend the seeds in a blender till it becomes a creamy consistency, then I will add oils and use it as a deep conditioner treatment. It's Wonderful.
@@Mapolopolooit doesn't matter, the oil is taken from the pumpkin seeds, so both work but obviously you would get more with the oil directly because you would have to eat a lot of pumpkin seeds constantly
A half handful of pepitas (pumpkin seeds) daily, has reversed my male pattern baldness. Somewhat noticeable at 3 months. enough new hair growing in the bald spots to say wtf at 6months. Enough new hair growing in old places at 9months to make me consider growing it long again. Again, eating a handful of pumpkin seeds daily has new hairs sprouting in places in my hairline that were bald
@@Saxology219 i started with the shampoo and conditioner. i took the pills every day and every night i applied the serum on spots that were needed. before i go to sleep i put on a satin head wear from you go natural(or kings crowning: both black owned)
Hey bro, I take collagen and pumpkin seed oil in capsules oral and I use a cleansing shampoo and always before washing I apply almond oil all over hair and scalps, it works!!!
Just so you know The Ordinary hair serum doesnt do anything for hair loss or density. It just makes the strands appear more dense. Still a great product and great price too! I would swtich out the almond oil for castor oil mixed with rosemary oil or pumpkin seed oil.
Pumpkin Seed Oil can be found easily on etsy, ebay or amazon & can find pumpkin seeds in grocery stores & online(sites mentioned). Can buy a hair oil that has pumpkin seed oil in the ingredients & can use the pumpkin seed oil alone if you'd choose to do that.
I don't know what y'alls fixation on the pumpkin seed oil pills amounts to? However, eating a handful of pepitas/pumpkin seeds daily for9 months has made huge changes. I had the windows peak that was vanishing rapidly. 9months later, I'm thinking of growing my hair out long again
@@charavts4442 good thing is I got two side effects like diherrea and some slight pains in the middle chest like acid reflux. When you get side effects these are signs that it’s working cos it’s blocking ur DHT so u will get some sides. I have only been taking it for 2 months. So early days will see how it goes for 6 months before commenting.
If the hairs have fallen out what most likely is the DHT has starved the hair follicles and they are shriveled and dead. Best bet will be to treat your hair at it’s current state to make sure it’s healthy then get a hair transplant. or just go bald.
Well i have been taking pumpkin seed oil for years. I never saw any increase in New growth of hair at all. The only thing is the hair that I have does not fall out and it grows fast but no new hair growth at all.
Have you tried also using peppermint oil topically for new hair growth? It was ranked better than finasteride for it So it could act as your natural minoxidil + PSO as your natural finasteride... I'm now taking this approach
@@andresoares2110 great ! Hope you also get your gains back, how much peppermint oil did you use pls ? and how often ? And did you try rosemary oil too ?
@@gjasmin4842 ok, I'll explain it better! Please adapt it to the types of products you can find in your country! Things I use daily at night to inhibit DHT internally: one capsule of 1350mg pumpkin seed oil, 2 tablespoons of extra virgin coconut oil. Things I use to inhibit DHT topically: I mix the following oils (rosemary oil, castor oil, aloe vera oil, grapeseed oil) and I apply them 2-3 times/week overnight, then I take them out of my hair with the respective shampoo of that day. This strategy is great for improving results and substituting minoxidil, which I don't use. It's very important to massage your hair very well in order to really get the most out of the oils. Also, make sure to buy high quality oils that can be used for many hours straight. Shampoos I use: A natural herb shampoo from a local brand with a more neutral pH and then I put some anti DHT ingredients in there, such as green tea, rosemary leaves and also things to speed up hair growth, such as cloves. Other supplements I take for better overall health and maximizing results: Vitamin D, Brewer's yeast, regular multivitamin. Additionally, I'm now currently eating more beef liver in order to fix my iron deficiency and raise my ferritin levels as soon as possible.
