@@aavinashchaliha7810 1. All other countries began releasing their last colonies after WWII, about 8 decades ago. russia alone tries to conquer colonies today. 2. Please explain, what does the British have to do with me?
I heard an intercepted phone call between a Russian soldier in Ukraine and his father. The soldier complained about how badly things were going and his father responded that according to the media, everything was fine. The son responded sarcastically, ‘…is this your first week in Russia, father?…’
They know they are lied to, they went along with it but its going sour. Thing is they dont know how to react, they are in a straight jacket of their own making.
It is, but when? It could still take many years, way after putin's gone at this pace. The answer still depends more on us and on the Ukrainians than on russians themselves. They seem to have neither agency, nor will to change things.
The reason Russia got so bad in the '90s, was because half-baked economists advised the West/Russia to ''let the free-market'' solve all the problems . A slower transition from Communism to Socialism to Social Democracy would have been more humane/less chaotic and could well have stopped Putin getting into his position.
Nope. It was a Kleptocracy, where the (then young) oligarchs and mob bosses grabbed every former state industry for next to nothing - never allowing any "free market" to grow.
so wait...free market capitalism results in a mad max sorta outcome and youd rather "do the same thing but slower"? seems like the economic model that took less than 50years to go from total monarchy to putting men and women in space was the better choice
You can obviously take this with a grain of salt. But they have had some of the primary economists in charge of that transition interviewed on this channel and they don't completely disagree, but would argue the lack of lawyers and a judicial system willing to be part of that change and strong enough to adequately curb corruption was a major contributing factor. Because there was no one to slow down or stop the Mad Max behavior from dominating the landscape.
I surely hope everything he says will come true to end suffering in both countries, but i am not convinced. What they say In Times Radio Russia must have been shattered to the ground every single week. But it is still not 😮
My right ear liked this. My left cant hear a thing. This is google's new audio and video separation on two feeds gone wrong. Who thought it was a good idea to separate what was one stream into two separate feeds that you have to line up and synchronize?
I find it interesting that we have the Russian President shaking hands with the Chinese President in front of a BRICS banner written in the Latin alphabet. And this is in Russia, right? 😜
@telebubba5527 the "B" is for Brasil, brics is Brasil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa, (or Saudi Arabia). Basically the non "Western" states, that are not in the EU or the "G7".
Surviver, that expect to get the SPOILS of war, may support the war, sacraficing 'the others' ... Sending criminals to the front, firsthand, speak it's clear message...
Even attempting to compare russia with UK is ridiculous. It's like watching a syphilitic alcoholic about to die from painful cancer and saying yeah, knowing you have migraine and trying to do something about it are two different things.
Radio Times is back to the "Putin is done" nonsense ... They spew this idiocy non-stop and gullible people love it. I stop by for the laughs. GOOD LUCK!
The 90's wasn't such a good time period in Britain as the earlier fascism and Irish conflicts were still settling down. It was a time of analogue computers as the soviets and communists were well versed in. It's reasonable to anticipate a resurgence of such types of sleeper cells and spying methods if they ever ceased at all. Analogue is faster and seems something being revived regardless of warfare. In the demise of the soviet union the Mercedes could have belonged to Germans as Russias Federation began to emerge from the region nearer some of the regions somewhere near Armenia I forget the name of was where the small league emerged from becoming the Russia it is now. As more religious beliefs left behind with religion changes and ridicules become proven valid scientifically I think it possible some will splinter into such revived esoteric groups, with some interesting potentials to be wary of. I wouldn't be surprised if things become a bit mysterious yet knowable and superstitious beliefs better understood, harnessed and utilised aswell. A few magic wands or other mythical or scyfy sort of weapons/tools/utensils or two and all sorts may be realised as legitimate creatable technologies regardless of any war or not. It's rather a bit of a mythstory of course but people can't help but love those sorts of novel things such as talismans, holy water and magical things can they. 🤔
Every week another episode about the imminent demise of Putin. I guess if you keep going at it long enough, you'll get it right eventually. I despise Putin btw but this is getting old.
good point....but the God crowd will get all upset and claim that they are being silenced. We just cannot win against religion....The Soviets tried to exicute them all , but that is not a good thing.
It was the same with the first war in Chechnya or Afghanistan, and the approach before the war in Ukraine was the same. It was the same in the war between Vietnam and the USA. The Americans had the best weapons in the world, it was definitely the best in every respect!!!!!! And yet they lost the war. it is a mistake to have an optimistic view before the war starts, even if it has to be so because... The real cabaret is the work of propagandists on television from Moscow, after the war they curse these people because it was different than what they said. These are just mistakes. and since there are many more mistakes in the USSR and the Russian Federation, it is what it is. In the Russian Federation there are exceptionally many mistakes. A044
Hey, Mr. Galeotti - This would probably interest you: The BBC complaining that it can't spread its propaganda due to funding cuts... "UK losing ‘propaganda’ battle to Russian media - BBC chief British state outlets can no longer reach audiences in the Global South, Tim Davie has said"
Yes, exactly. The typical Russian is so cynical and believes the state and media are *always* lying, or spreading propaganda, or straight misinformation. They have clung to that and the fact that Russia is still a "great power" in the world and would eventually conquer Ukraine. Now they see that Ukraine is still resisting and they are searching for the answers as to *why* they have not "won" a complete "victory". When the "average" Russian starts fully admitting how badly things have turned is when Putin should be most afraid (this is partly why he took over all media outlets when he became Russian President - to make sure there were no ways to get "news" or information counter to his propaganda).
@@s0ycapitan Let's take a little guess: which of your favourite Russia 1 tv pundits claimed that Russia would easily win in just *two* days? Which one? Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha
Did you not understand he was forwarding a Ukrainian's blog complete with the handle for you to look up for yourself. Even Tatarigami_UA gives references to speeches of Ukrainian generals and the likes.
To Times Radio: I DARE you to interview honest commentators who urge cessation of hostilities, such as former U.S. military personnel like Mr. Scott Ritter (former weapons inspector in Iraq), ex-Colonel Douglas McGregor, ex-Col. Lawrence Wilkerson (former aide to General Colin Powell), etc. You would probably garner more views than with any other videos you've ever done - because we viewers are sick of warmongering BS from your channel and others...
here we go again this man is a comedian its like hes on drugs why keep bringing on idiots i recommend the indian times a neutral country channel and tells you more truth instead of listening to nutters on this channel with there funny stories like putin got cancer blew up his own gaspipeline and has run out of artillary and has only shovels to fight with and hes still winning because he must have the best shovels ever invented
I wish I could find a way to block the Indian Times and Hindustan Times. They are both a joke for low-information morons without a clue. There are teenagers who could do a news show better than Palki Sharma.
Geez your ignorance makes me laugh. Ignorance is bliss. The West has lost this war with Russia in Ukraine. Period. Count the losses and prepare to stand in a queue for a plate of food very very soon.
