Is Rebag Trade Clair A Scam? 

I hate you had to go through this. I traded my Prada crystal reedition. After they received it, they came back and asked me to pay 25 more dollars due to market fluctuations. At that point, honestly, I did not want to worry about the hassle of having the bag shipped back to me and having something happen to it, even though I was really frustrated that they would do that over $25. I refuse to use them now, as I think this might be a common practice with him to give a higher quote and entice people to send in their bags, then changed their quote, and hope that people just go ahead and pay the difference. They are sketchy!!!

Hi, I’ve heard that resellers like Rebag & Fashionphile will refuse bags if they already have many of the same bag available for sale. Looking at the Rebag site just now, they have many Evelyn bags in various colours in very good/excellent condition. Could this be the reason why your bag was refused? But I agree, for transparency they should provide a clear reason as to why a trade/purchase was refused.

This would have really stressed me out and made me angry! I’m glad it worked out for the most part.

Transparency is always the best policy...I feel like being authentic and not mincing words, being straight with people is what I prefer. Thank you for illuminating this concern, sorry that you had a bad experience :(

This just happened to me today and one time before. I just sent them my Louis Vuitton artsy in great shape and they now offered me a way lower price and their excuse of my condition doesn’t make sense. Last time this happened it took Them forever to get my bag back to me. Like it was forgotten about. Now today I’m Going through the same thing and I’m stressed too! I need my bag back!!

Yikes! Well thank goodness your bag was not damaged but how in the world did your box get damaged? It's a sturdy box. They just pile up peoples stuff and not handle with care. Well i just purchased 2 items, one was suppose to be delivered today in California but it's been no movement with Fedex for 3 days, just sitting in New Jersey! My 2nd item i ordered a Noe Petit on a Wednesday, on February 14 and its Feb 18 and it's still in process and hasnt been shipped. Uuugh! It's marked in great condition. I hope it doesn't get stains or damaged on their end as they prepare to ship to me. They are going to go out of business if they keep this up. They need to hire someone to run the business to build their reputation up. I think it's gone down hill. How do you talk to anyone on the phone? No one ever answers the phone! Uugh.

I sold threw bags waiting on payment for one for three days I keep contacting customer service they say 1-2 buisness days but they already listed my item also sold them a new never used gucci dionysus still in box and they said it was scratched I never took it out of the box still in original plastic and they went down on an offer. After these I will never use them again I will try my luck on poshmark or ebay

Yes I had a similar experience they didn’t accept my bag and when they send it back my Chanel vintage bag was ruined 😾 🥺 they didn’t even put it in the dust bag 😤

Hi Trang, hey long time no see (on IG)! I'm glad you posted this video about Rebag and sharing your negative experience with them. I would also be frustrated if I were in your shoes. I'm just glad you got your original bag back though. Police would be involved if that's not the case. So which platform did you end up using to sell the bag? Sorry this happened to you. You aren’t the only one and their shenanigans continue months later. I’m currently watching a drama series from RU-vidr “She’s the Posh” who is going through hell with them stealing her property. It’s insane!

this happened to a gal I sold a gucci bag too - they would only say that it was authentic, but there were inconsistencies with the brand standard?!? it was a marmont and I currently have 6 of them - I ended up buying the bag back from her and I'm telling you it was as good or better stitched then all of the other ones I have!

To this day, Rebag have sent me multiple ads via email, but have yet to address the damage. 😐

Rebag is super picky. I took 20 bags and I only got offer for 3 and I only sold one. That was the only time I sold to them. I heard lots of people having isdue with the trade program so won't be doing that.
