Considering a lot of players who have played this game, i think having the community create super interesting events would be the best thing moving forward. Players are always looking to have new content, and the flexibility of having a good event creator would bring the most content in an update. Much more than any new item would.
Honestly, with the user events update, it's made making races soo much more fun however, players really aren't using it effectively. Alot of races have just been in game event or one checkpoint races to help boost stars. Races that people do actually try and put effort into ends having some janky checkpoints, or take you through terrain that's unsuitable for the sport. I've made 5 races so far. Check out any race from the "most liked" section of the lab and compare it with one of mine and tell me I ain't lying. FFBB9X 9QSK6U B2RC9G UYVCA5 MTCDXS
i got this game today for 14 bucks on sale on the PlayStation store so far I'm enjoying it gives me something new and different to play I'm bored of my usual games i normally play all the time so riders republic is like fresh air for me
I'm sorry in advance for my bad English. I bought this game with Steep at the beginning of the year, and I'm incredibly happy with it! Thank you so much for making a video of this game. You helped me with buying it and mastering it. You are definitely the best Riders Republic youtuber!
My main concern with the skate edition is whether there are going to be enough free-roam locations to make it worth buying. If there are only like 2 parks then it seems a waste compared to bikes which have almost full reign of the map. Right now (UK prices), Steam has the base game for less than £9 while the skate edition is just over £26 for potentially a half-baked skate 3 with an active community.
It's still a very good game. I just picked it up dor 10 bucks and even on the base game you have more than enough content to keep you entertained. Would recommend
Ive bought the complete edition not so long ago and in my opinion it is definitely worth it, you have so much entertainment playing this game it will not disappoint you 😃
I just looked at the steam charts for riders republic. I could not be more disappointed lmaoo I thought there would be at least a all time high of 20000 but its only 5,218. Such a shame cause this game in my opinion is the best free roam madness you could ever get.
@@FourCeez I was replying to Manuel about the price. I don't disagree that they charge for the dlc but the bmx one has been on sale plenty since it came out and skate is starting to see discounts as well. If you wait for the right sales, you could have the complete edition for under $25 which is a great deal.
the game only recently hit steam, it was an Epic games exclusive for nearly 2 years so I imagine most people like myself are launching through that or ubisoft connect directly where the best offers are and since people have invested in the DLC etc.
This game was a blast, especially in it's beta or demo wtv it was, but for some reason it was never more popular than before it even released. I waited for release and it had way less people than in the beta.
I love this game and me and my friends still play. The skate update is so much fun and feels great. It’s a great game to pick up and play for fun if you’re bored of a FPS. I really think they need to add customization. Custom skate parks, bike race, snow park, etc. that’ll drive the community to grow and grow the game naturally as well. I don’t mind DLC when they constantly drop new content for free/no battle pass bs
I bought the game a week ago and I had the most fun playing a game in a long time, and now my friends are playing with me which is even better. And the game is so worth it, the ambiance, the map, the musics, the sports, all the tricks… The only thing that could be better is the price of the different DLCs, but masterpieces aren’t free right?
i will probably buy complete edition for me and my friend because we wanted a something to be skate 3 alternative because we played it on ps3 emulator and i thought why not try to find an alternative and the choice for us is riders republic because its like the crew 2 but with bikes etc. which is a type of game we like and complete editon is on sale which 2 copies are like the price of one 360 edition
I really liked this game, but stopped playing after finishing the events the basic game had. I really didn't like the fact that you need to buy a season pass and the game is constantly trying to sell you something. the big events were more or less repetition rather than new runs which got boring fast. Might try it again and see if the user created events are any good.
It’s a good game but for me it’s one of those play when I’m bored type games, not something I will mainly play. If I just wanna relax and free roam for a bit then this is my go to. Biggest downside is the micro transactions, because most of the fun stuff is locked behind a paywall. Whoever wants to purchase the game I recommend you get one of the editions that comes with some of the extra stuff, because the base sports they give you can be a little repetitive. The wacky items are a lot better, skate is good as well.
just bought this 7 months ago. this game made me buy a bike and go to the trails. and I am planning on entering my first downhill/enduro race in april. issues and poor dev choices aside, this game does a pretty good job in getting people into the hobbies they showcase
I re installed and played for 10 hours i mostly used the bmx and got the Mini Bmx on my first day back i bought an add on for skateparks etc Like this comment if you enjoy playing Riders Republic too this day and think it's a good game
The game completely runs out of steam once you have completed the offline races, the online racing in this game is bad and extremely lacking but one thing i will say for this game is it gave me the itch to get back into mountain biking and so i uninstalled the game and bought a Norco bigfoot 3 that i rip around on and now i spend the free time i would have used playing this actually riding around so in that sense it may have been the best thing i ever played get outside and RIDE people.
Everything is cool about riders republic, but the map. Feels to unalive and needs more lifeness to it. Like there is actually people around living there, and more cool creative spots to pull of stunts. Everything in riders republic looks to intentional and grid like. Nothing is unexpected, but the level design on the skatepark is good. Has allot of vibes. I want more vibes throughout the map, it has allot of deadspace, also good for future dlcs. So I can respect it. Plz make skateboard free
10€ in steam spring sale, i guess i'm going to try it, also, i can recognise you're a fellow spaniard just by your accent, we have such strong giveaways xD
gameplay improved.. now i would say better than steep.. but one huge fucked up = unstable server.. and i know its not me when my friend told me the same.. otherwise my net is awesome.. So if you have the nerves expecially when you are enjoying the most or you really try to push up some great score... not for me anymore
I wanted to by it when it came out, but it was like 70-80$ and that was just too pricy for me. I love the bike, snowboard, and ski aspects, but i wasnt crazy about the jepack stuff. The skateboard looks hella cool
Being able to customise bikes is all i want, using the same every race since the first week of release is the reason i stoped playing, seeing 40+ people all on the same bike is BS, i have unlocked everything there is to unlock but still have to use the same old stuff because the stats is best is a joke
I played this game a lot when it first game out for like 2-3 months but they never updated it and there was nothing to do so I stopped playing and wanted to see if people still played lol
Maybe I’ll re-install the game once Ubisoft gets rid of some of the fake unnecessary rivers. There’s way too many random rivers and it’s absolutely stupid. The game is ruined because of the map. What were the developers thinking??
You pay for the base game you only pay for what the base game offers. I feel that the DLC careers should be behind a paywall but everyone should have the first piece of gear to use, like they did with BMX. That way every player can enjoy all of the sports for one price but if they want to play the extra careers then they have to pay a little extra.
@@JordjeWing i agree, if the case was it was proper dlc's. These dlc's included slightly over 5gb of content and asked price point of a full game for the dlc. A 10$ dlc is normal but this way is terrible. Also one of this games selling points for the base game was "expanding the amount of playable sports along the game"
I have to say I find the longboard pretty disappointing. I don't expect the mountainboard to be any better. I get that they are limited by the premise and the skateboard was already a big update but they could have come up with something better for year 3 than "the same but longer" ((give me inline skates or ice skates now!)
I really want this game for the mountain biking but I just damaged my real life mountain bike and have to take it in to the shop so idk if it’s worth the 40$ anymore 😂😂
The game is very scuffed 😂 when I finally got to riders ridge players were walking in one spot, front wheels on the bikes start floating towards the sky and the back wheel spins into the player. Ubisoft should just remove it from Ubisoft+ for good for how scuffed it is and how unplayable it is. I hate that I spent any time in it.
What do you mean? When i played the free trial i thought it was absolutely amazing! I would understand if it was an EA type thing where its simply DLC everywhere but yet again i would just, play and not buy the DLC.
@@Toasty_Woasty12it’s a great game, don’t get the original comment wrong. Super fun and a great concept but after sticking with it for a while it grows stale and repetitive. Up until the skate update they barely did anything since launch besides adding gear and a few new events that again, grow stale and repetitive. The frustration is the lack of support and then to charge FULL PRICE for dlc is infuriating to longtime, dedicated players and honestly, a slap in the face. I’ll snag it on sale eventually but even then my expectations is low as Ubisoft has dropped the ball on every update imo.
Hi guys i'm from italy. I have big difficult to find competitive match (trick battle etc). Sometimes i can't play, with crossplay activated the game doesn't find match. Why the fuck y'all are playing this? I LOVE THIS GAME BUT I CANT FIND MATCHES!!!
Hard Enduro Career would be fantastic. Perfect terrain of all kinds like the real thing except perhaps for mud but if they did it, without a doubt it would be the best extreme sports game going. It is now but there's no limit for improving it with more game content. Thanks for the brilliant posts and unwavering devotion to a game you are No.1 for !!!
I don't play this game anymore. Mass Races are boring. They have so many races for progression but its just total waste of potential. I'm SSX fan and I only care about snow events that I don't receive. TRASH music is another thing. No originality. Music is the weakest part of this game
