My experience has been that if a top is large and not gentle, you have the right to tell him to get his dick out of you and leave. If you have a large partner (like relationship more than a one off) then they need to either accept they need to be gentle or they can bottom for you instead (then be rough and see how he likes it). Also remember, doing squats opens you up and you can take more and that also puts you in control. And sweet jerseys, use TONS of lube (silicone based lasts longer and is much silkier, water based just doesn’t cut it with larger men).

Totally agree. In all respects although I am now in my late Sixties I have always had Doctors who were totally non-judgemental and just imformative. They have been wonderful people and I have always felt totally comfortable sharing anything with them in respect of my body and my health. My oldest Son is an ICU Charge Nurse and has the same attitude as myself.

I’m in shock and greatly surprised to finally encounter a highly professional and very intelligent young doctor whom seriously focused his practice in a subject that has been taboo for straight, bisexual, transgender, gay men, etcetera. serge..I live in florida and am not married ....you would not believe when I first moved back here and I was in my thirties and not married and having sex ...how many GYNECOLOGIST were blown away when I said I was having sex , not married and did not have a boyfriend..it was really really sad ..like really sad and scary and this was just a couple years ago and they were female gynecologists...and they wore sandals ...like some jobs ,...you should probably wear a foot covering shoe @@SergeDuka

I visited a proctologist who told me I had to get checked for syphilis and HIV because I had had anal sex recently. No questions about protection, number of partners, etc. Needless to say, I never went back and found a different doctor. I'm glad you are making this content.

I don’t think that was the right move , choosing a dr by which one agrees with you . He has an opinion too So you should do your own research, this dr is very open and seems to be honest, but one problem is that there is a potential to hurt yourself, and not everyone is going to take their time and do it right , just my opinion give yourself more than one point of view .cheers mate

@@22julip - Last March, I ended up in the ER. High BP, low oxygen, and septic. Before I had even met him, the hospitalist had concluded that I was an HIV infected drug addict that was banging every dog on the street corner. He didn't believe me when I told him that my husband and I were pretty vanilla and insisted that he was going to run an HIV test (and who know what else). Two days later, after dragging in an infectious disease specialist and having an unknown number of tests, that same twit of a hospitalist was clearly very frustrated to inform me that I just had a mild case of pneumonia. If you're not comfortable with a doctor then you need to find a different doctor. I just wasn't quite up to marching out of that hospital.

absolutely agree with you regarding teens. there's not a lot of good comprehensive sexual education offered by schools, and the sources they find online or from their peers about sex are generally.... not great. I've heard so many horror stories of teenage sexual experience due to ignorance, so i'm glad there's more open discussion about sexual health lately. everybody needs to be able to talk about it maturely and well-informed before partaking in it.

Please make a special video for pregnant women, how we should sit, what we should eat, what should we avoid, which position is better for us to sleep or how to improve circulation, which suplements should we avoid… if we had already have hemorroide removed by surgery, could we still develop hemorroids later maybe in post part un? Which medicine should we avoid or take for pain? Does the fetus suffer from our chronic pain? How will the recovery be from surgery? 40% of pregnant women unfortunately reach grade 3 and 4 :/

Again the problem is you are in the medical field and understand both sides of the question about anal sex , I’ve seen documentaries about adult sex business, and some tell bad stories about the trauma from anal sec , so you have a two worlds problem, one side like yourself and the other one which doesn’t always protect themselves. Bottom like the good dr said , educate yourself about the pros and cons , and don’t sugar coat it because your an advocate of it , that can cause a cavalier or reckless attitude. Cheers be well

@@22julip Maybe you are biased, if you only watch documentaries about the problems, not so much about the problemness. It's the same as they make documentaries about cancer, but not about people, how they enjoy life not having cancer. If you forbid to talk about pleasure, as "sugar coating", you enforce to talk about the risks only. The special thing on this doctor is, he includes the "why" the "joy" into evaluation. Watch documentaries about plane crashs, and warn people to fly. That's the very same thing. From "It's possible" you can not conclude to "It's likely".

I can speak from experience about hemorrhoids and anal fissures. I was treated about 15 years ago for hemorrhoids. The hemorrhoids were nasty, bleeding almost everytime I took a crap. My doctor used the banding method. Tiny little rubber bands , kinda like when they castrate farm animals. He said that he applied 4 bands. This is done as an outpatient procedure where the patient is put under so that they can't feel anything. When I woke up, the doctor told me that he also treated me for a chronic anal fissure, a procedure called fistectectomy , I think that is how it is spelled. The doctor/surgeon cut a little slice into the tendons circling my anas. All in all it took about 2 weeks for the wounds to stop draining, I would have loose pink bowel movements. I think it was a month and a half before I could have any sort of anal sex. Twenty years later, everything works fine. No lost of bowel control. I'm 65 now, gotten fat and bald, don't get much action anyway. I really can't understand why banding isn't used more, it seems like a simple solution for a big problem with some people. It made a huge difference in my own personal experience.

It depends on the degree of your hemorrhoids. Banding only works for light to light/medium cases, otherwise we have to suffer with that awful surgery. It took me almost two months to fully recover from the surgery, and was 17 Days of extreme pain. I wouldn't wish it to my worst enemy. I'm 34 now, 28 when I had surgery. I really wish I'll never have to go through it again.

I see allot of comments that are shaming the doctor for doing a video on this topic. But I would argue, if not a doctor, who would you prefer to speak on topic? The reality is that people have had anal sex for centuries before and many to come. Fundamentally, people should be educated on the topic if they are going to practice it in their sex lives.

I also want other guys to know, if you’re having multiple partners HPV is easily passed between partners, especially if you don’t use condoms. Women get Pap smears to check for cervical cancer (and HPV is the #1 cause), if you’re having regular anal sex, get an anal Pap smear, HPV has the same effect on rectal tissue and GI cancer is no laughing matter.

@@frcluc When my government started up their HPV vaccination program I was already too old to get called in. I had also never heard of HPV or the vaccine before I had a very unsettling pap smear result. No one ever told me about it (not my GP, not my obgyn, not my family and friends). I had a procedure to get pre-cancerous tissue removed in the hospital. My obgyn told me he still recommended I get the vaccine, so he wrote the prescription and I had to pay around 550eu to get a full round. I was also recently informed mouth cancer is on the rise because of HPV. I'm not sure how effective the vaccine is, but enough vaccinated people still end up in the hospital for treatment of HPV symptoms. Women get tested for HPV through routine pap smears that the government runs (you get a letter if it's time for you to come in), something similar should be done for men because not only can they pass it onto others they can also get rectal cancer and mouth cancer. The tests exist.

One major issue though. The sphincter muscle can be weakened and broken creating a lack of fecal control, where the individual has to then wear disposable diapers or get the sphincter muscle rebuilt.

He said that it would feel great. He said that if I were constipated, the penis insertion would actually break up the fecal matter that was constipating. He didn’t mention wearing a condom. Oh my gosh, what I have learned since then is enormous compared to what he had said. I am pleased that I said no. I found a digit used my a health professional quite literary kills me when inserted up the recriminations. Something as big as a penis or dildo CAN impact one so that they can have a bowel movement. If the person hasn’t douched completely and thoroughly, the penis, even in a condum will be covered in fecal matter. There is so much bacteria in the rectum to help break down the fecal matter and as a result of bowel movements, it can be dangerous to one’s health and life, particularly without proper thorough douching. Lastly, when the doctor advised for lubricate, think of TONS of lubricant!

You did not discuss preparing the hole by having a BM before anything goes in there. As you said it is not used to having anything going in the opposite direction. If your stool has dropped from the colon, it will be uncomfortable and unpleasant for either person. Btw. A rather small penis can cause more damage d/t the inability to stay inside hence, t jabbing at the entrance could become irritating and can cause fissures.

Thank you for this. I've been bottoming for 30 years. The last time I heard a proctologist talking about this, he said that the anus was a sexual organ. I questioned this, and they assured me that they were being literal. I couldn't take them seriously after this. I haven't had any problems caused by bottoming because I follow a simple rule: if it hurts, don't do it. IMHO, pain is my body's way of telling me not to do something. Done right, there's no pain.

Furthermore the anus and that whole zone, has pretty much the same smell as the scrotum, vagina, penis, regardless, of gender or sex, but will vary from people to people, like body smell, sweat, hair smell etc... It's mostly regulated by hormones, body routine, what type of chimicals are in your shampoo / soap, and will generaly change from person to person. Also it's not tied with gender nor sex in any way. Again it varies a lot ! TLDR ; If you clean properly and have a basic hygiene, No it won't smell like poo, it will smell Like humans do.

I have been very worried for my homosexual friends, but also for my female friends who feel pressured by their partners. I believe that it is very unhealthy due to fissures that can happen and the bacteria in the colon. This couldn't be good for the penis either. As a woman, we are always told to wipe from the back to avoid getting bacteria in the vagina, so for the male, he could get urine infections and if there is double dipping, going from the rectum to the vagina, without cleaning the penis between, this could be bad. I hope many people are watching because I think there will be more rectal cancers, infections and immunity problems.

@@jaxonjaxon7845 What does that mean, "able to bottom?" The colon, which is the large intestine cannot be replaced. The small intestine,alone, handles digestion and its output, which is redirected thru an opening in the stomach wall, called an ileostomy. The colon had to be removed because the lining had multiple bleeding ulcers, known as ulcerative colitis. Hope this answers your question, which is a little confusing to me. If you're referring to anal sex, that is definitely not my thing as a woman. It was not consensual! However, I would caution those who like that, to be careful, as an unwanted serious injury can result. Over and out. Peace

You may not believe this but I've had issues with anal fissures and hemmies (cute name for them don't you think?) for years. I went on an ayahuasca retreat for other reasons and I received physical healing from the plant medicine. Been over HALF A YEAR and not a single problem with my bottom. It used to be a weekly or biweekly issue.... IDK what happened but i'll take it!
