You mentioned the hint of vibrato. Angelina actually even then could dial up any vibrato you might want. Her natural vibrato is stronger but the same pace. When you get to 'Summertime' you will hear a much stronger and slightly slower vibrato. Even at 7-8 she had a lot of control over what her vocals could do.
The first time the world heard Angelina sing. The world has waited for every new song she releases ever since. To say she is special doesn't go close to describing the effect she has on us every time she sings.
Another masterpiece.... at her young age Angelina Jordan has always excel all the expectations with her renditions, Her unique voice makes her uncomparable and as I said before Only Angelina can beat Angelina. great reaction. it is hard to comprehend how at her age angelina can already play around with her voice.her sense of timing is incredible. her mother said in an interview later that she started crying backstage because at that moment she realized that she had lost angelina to the world.
Thanks for your reaction. This was a shock for many to see a 7 yo sing like that and at the same time so confident and calm. It was so rare and unique that it was shown in the news in my country. She is still rare and unique.
Not a chance of that. Neither her or her family is after money. Her driving force is to change the world for the betterment of people. All the concerts she has done to this point have been for charities with few exceptions. The family has spent there money for her productions. We actually know very little about Angelina. She is an enigma. A very private individual whom has done nothing to garner fame except sing. All other endeavors have been to better the lives of others. There is no bling to grab attention of others.

Great reaction and I believe is a special gift to us from God! She will go down as The best ever, look how she compares with The Greats and she is still 10 years minimum to full vocal maturity. Actually it is scary how good she is. I have read that Madonna said she is Frightening, and that Adele feels honored that she covers so many of her songs. You should do some Tik Tok reactions, maybe 2 or 3 songs at a time, as for they are so short. I call them Teasers, for they are a small taste of what is to come, God Bless!
Angie was 9 years and two months old when she performed I Put a Spell on You and her Mom says that she began arranging it when she was 8 and the video was not released until she was 10. Here, in this first public performance, Angelina shows that she never gets nervous no matter how large the audience (40,000 when she opened for Nora Jones in Seoul). I am sure that Angelina, although understanding the song, had no idea that the song had been banned in several countries - the song was dubbed, The Hungarian Suicide Song, and the last judge knew that.
You said so many wonderful things about Angelina, all totally true - you are a true Angel too, my friend. I will say this - as good as she is in this performance, her remaining performances in NGT get better each time. Her rendition of "Summertime" in the finale is truly remarkable.

Besides the obvious reference to "Angel" being part of her name, she wrote a song several years ago called "Shield", about someone being surrounded and protected by loved ones, no matter where they are. There is a line in the song, "surround me with angels, don't let them go", and her fans have been "Angels" ever since. Here is a quote from Angelina (7y) from an interview with TV2 after her Audions NTG 2014. "The reason I chose this song is completely random. I love jazz, but" Gloomy Sunday "was random. It was a night I could not sleep and my mother was stressed that I was awake long after midnight. Then I borrowed my mom's iPad where I wanted to listen to jazz on RU-vid before I fell asleep. Then came a picture of a beautiful lady screaming at the sky and with her eyes closed. I heard the song "Glommy Sunday" that night and then I had to hear it every day. I love the melody. All the judges cried throughout all of her performances... I think you got it right that part of the reason is witnessing something miraculous......The look of wonder, astonishment and amazement in hostess Solveig Kloppen's eyes when Angelina walks off stage 10:58 says it all... She is the one who tells Angelina to give them jazz before she goes on...I believe her and Heidi Klum from Americas Got Talent were looking out for her at the two mmost important moments of her career... I like to think of them as guardian angels
You can catch a rare glimpse of Angelina's father and little sister, Juliette at 0:40. Her Mom is in the right of the frame. I would like to know who the woman is with black hair standing near her dad is. While this could be someone outside the family, her sheer volume of black hair makes me think of an older Angelina.
During an interview, Angelina states that when singing she enters a magical world where everything is happy. In the next NGT audition you may notice at the end when she stops singing with her full voice, she appears to transition out of her mental state back into the 7-year-old girl and says a very timid ‘thank you’. I have also observed this state-of-mind transition in several other videos of later years.

Omer the youngest judge became friends with the family shortly after the competition and in a recent interview said he introduced her singing to the Jackson family last Christmas when he was visiting them
What a great reaction and review! Yes, she is miraculous. I agree she had to have been born with certain physical attributes that most do not get. She apparently was aware that she had these gifts and chose to prominently display them by studying closely the greats and obviously working at her craft relentlessly. Choosing the songs that she covers is an added bonus because these are some of the best ever written. It is so nice to listen to a reactor that has a good understanding of music. You see a little slip of a girl with wild hair, teeth missing in a princess dress entering the stage and directly warming everybody hearts. Then she starts singing and the artist appears who captures everybody’s attention and touching their hearts. Thanks for a great reaction! You spoke briefly about her mom and I'd like to point something out to you. The blonde woman backstage raising her hands up to her face was her mom (Sara) and she was asked why she was crying. Like you said, yes, she was aware how good her daughter was but, at that precise moment when she was singing, mom knew she was losing her a little because she would have to share her daughter with the rest of the world! Well, I'm happy to say that nothing has interfered with their relationship to one another and, in fact, Angelina's family is very closely knit and the love they share with each other is something to behold. My friend, you have a beautiful heart because it didn't take you long at all to "get it" in regards to Angelina. She is very, very special. You will learn more and more as you go on and you are on a journey which will bring a joy and a love to your heart which you've never felt before.

Thank you so much for playing this. It is a masterpiece by a 7yo! Do you know that she speaks several languages. She's from Norway. There, everyone speaks Norwegian. From the age of 6, Angelina READ, WRITE and SING English texts. She is amazing in many ways.
Great reaction, The Astar family as a whole is a remarkable family, her grandmother Mery Zamani aka Mosarz is a world renowned poet and artist from Iran, her grandfather was a businessman from Japan, her mother and uncle both grew up in Japan, how Norway came about is a mystery, however they maintain a beautiful home there. Angelina has accomplished more between the ages 8 and 12 than most people do in their entire life. By 12 yrs old she had already sang for Royalty, Prime Ministers, and celebrities all over the world, raised millions for different charities and causes, wrote a book on why she sings barefoot, traveled the world doing concerts and shows. I don’t know how her parents were able to juggle everything that comes with notoriety, keeping her in school, traveling to different events, making sure she stay grounded, when you think about it they’ve did an amazing job raising Angelina even though the circumstances were not normal to say the least, they went as far as relocating to a different country for their daughter ( I’ve seen pictures of their home in Norway and their motive isn’t for monetary reasons) purely for the love of Angelina and uncle Michael. I don’t know if Angelina will become a superstar, but I do know she’s had the support of a superstar family.
Very enjoyable reaction. Angelina continues to be a huge fan of Billie Holiday, saying "if it wasn't for my unconditional love for Billie Holiday's music, there would not be the Angelina you know today". We know Billie's life was plagued by demons yet was able to provide so much great music and pleasure. Angelina is blessed with a wise and loving family along with all of her angels (fans). At age 6, when Angelina met the orphan girl who she gave her shoes to, she told the girl that she wants to sing for the entire world. I believe Angelina's covers of classic standards during her preteen and teen years, will stand the test of time as the some of the best covers ever recorded. Her natural instincts for music together with her deep, rich tone at such a young age equals beauty beyond compare. The next song she sings is the first thing I ever heard her do. I was dumbfounded while watching that performance. No 7-8 yr.old should be able to sing that song much less acapella. Not one note is out of pitch and she keeps the timing she started with al the way through. It should be impossible and yet there she is doing it error free. Angelina was the second wonder child I saw that week in November 2017. Just three days before I heard a 10 year old Kazakh girl light into 'Stone Cold' like she owned the thing. Daneliya Tuleshova is her name. For me she is as natural a singer as Angelina. They differ in direction with Angelina going towards a Jazz based interest and Daneliya definitely more of a Pop music interest, though she has covered Adele's 'Skyfall' with no problem. They both like Adele as they have both sung a few of her songs none in common though. Thank you for your reaction.
