I wanted Sheldon fired during this past summer....however there weren't any "better" coaching options at the time. But that has changed...BIG time. Craig Berube is now available. Fire Sheldon and get a REAL coach in there. Sheldon has been outcoached the last 4 playoffs. We all know it. It's just that the blame always went to the core 4. Clearly the Leafs are tuning him out and Craig would be a great fit here in Toronto. Hire him, sign him to 5 years.

I think these guys are failing to look at the bigger picture here. Keefe has not been an effective playoff coach and now his regular season coaching performance is starting to slide. The question is after this many seasons is he the guy to help them get to where they need to go which is a deep playoff run? I think we've all seen he's not the guy.

As long as they continue to rake in millions in tickets, private boxes, and merchandise, everyone's job is safe.

Give me a Quinn or Burns type again. Those were my favourite Leafs teams of the modern era. Sure they weren’t without their flaws but man did they have heart and soul, toughness, grit; something that has been lacking for years. It didn’t start with the Dubas/Shannahan era, but this club lost its soul a long time ago. It hasn’t worked and will not work with the way this team has been constructed and its current make up. I’ve said it for years, the Leafs, or any team for that matter, will not win a thing with 4-5 players taking up over 50% of your cap. Change it up. I'm a leafs fan, but the reality is these guys win based on their talent alone and not how they play as a team. Keefe squeaks out wins based on the top guys talent but not by their teamwork. Talent alone will win games but it won't win playoff series.

Signing Willy to 11.5 was a stupid move. Just really dumb. He's worth maybe 7 or 8 million. Compare him to other players in his league, they get no more than that. Treliving just repeated a mistake by giving Matthews and Nylander too much money. Banner year for Willy, make a blockbuster trade to get full value for him instead of signing for 8 years no-move clause. Just dumb.

9 years of Shanahan. The "Shanaplan" has failed. He has been in charge of the softest team in hockey for years. For the only player to have 650+ goals and 2475+ PIMS, how is this soft team ok? 4 years of Keefe. He has been out-coached every playoff appearance. Twice were also by inferior teams (Columbus and Montreal). We need change.
