Been a social media manager + strategist for 2 years. Started with junior roles of community management and moderation, and went my way up to content creation and personal branding but still getting the same junior level roles for jobs - it is very frustrating. We don't have a said JD. I have done graphic designing + content creation + content scheduling/posting + moderation. I was thinking of switching to product marketing.
I need your help!❤️ I'm trying to launch a project on Instagram from a new account with no followers, but the algorithms aren't giving my videos any visibility, so I'm not getting any views at all. The problem isn't the content quality, but the lack of an audience since I don't have any other established accounts to drive traffic from. I'm considering running promotions for each video. What do you think about this approach?
There are a couple of things you can do and some of them should do: continue to create content, videos are still great for visibility (get better at your videos, if you're not getting the views then it simply doesn't resonate with people), don't over produce your videos either, make sure you're showing your face, engage proactively with other accounts like you're networking, collaborate with other accounts to get in front of their audience, go live with other accounts, to name a few!
