Is Spectre Spam Any Good? BTD6 / Bloons TD 6 - today we take on geared CHIMPS with a slightly unconventional strategy - using spectres as my main DPS! Can we pull it off with the help of Geraldo and other support towers? Find out here in this black border run.

Challenge idea: Battles 2 loadout on btd6, so use the randomizer you used before to generate your towers and heroes. For the map, do referenced maps like Another brick or Sunken columns

Little tip to get extra pierce/dps out of spector is locking spector much farther in the back of track so you aren't shooting side ways more often then needed avoiding missing valuable pierce but its also important for having less distance travel for the bloons about to exit.

Much harder to get to 327 now. Scaling in freeplay is much higher. And pop in awe isn't bugged to deal crazy damage

I don’t think Isab knows this, but if you use Geraldo’s pickles on a tower that does 1 damage, for example a neva-miss, it does a lot more damage. Some people have done the math and when a tower that only does 1 damage has pickles it is 60% more affective. Now this number goes down once you get an alch buff since it’s damage is increased, but I think all those close calls on 63 could have been avoided if you just had a couple pickles.

I played spectre as my solo-carry in chimps, with Icycle impale in latter rounds for ddts and a few submarines for anti-moab-support. Its great to frailer out the crowds of simple bloons. Some shattering shells and even fortified ceramics weren't an issue. But core was always my spectre and it worked quite well.

I really wish theyd make a BMC 2. Itd be more fun with the better balNce of BTD6. So many towers in late game did 0 damage to MOABS making them useless.

You should try using hot sauce more. It's surprisingly strong and lasts 10 rounds for the same price as a maelstrom. It doesn't auto-win round 40 like a maelstrom does, but it will last through the 40s and make it easy to afford a mid game tower and/or discount villages. Very useful for 63 as well and from 91 on they'll last for the rest of the game. Also genie bottles get village buffs if you place them in range.

He couldn't. 2-x-x makes spikes do normal damage, meaning it can't be sharpened and will lose the sharpening buff. He needed it to be 2-4-0 for DDT popping, though this could've been circumvented by placing it in range of the MIB.

On btd battles spectre is very good vs rushes same as gz but gz is better if you need more damage and because of that is very good on dfa strat.

i think jar of pickles is op on neva miss i mean, it's like an alch buff but with less attack speed, and if neva miss deals 1dmg without an alch, it's a pretty big buff, basically making 40s easier maybe it's also decent in later rounds, but not sure if spectre deals more damage (like 3-4), then it's prob pointless

Isnt a spike storm better if u sharpening stone it by getting 1-4-0? Doesnt it add dmg and pierce to all spikes for super cheap or is it really that negligible? Cause with mib or alc u still good against ddt

You should try chimps but each tower has a different targeting (ex. 1 tower has strong, 1 tower has close, etc)

Spamming top path wouldn’t be as interesting since you can get like 8 for the price of one spectre. Spectre is also good against all types of bloons.

I'm not sure if this is me being a btd 6 dumbass, but do you actually need M.I.B if you have acidic mixture dip? It's something I constantly forget about but it grants lead popping power. At a guess, ISAB added the M.I.B because often acidic mixture is quite sporadic and doesn't affect everything constantly.

correct. also, amd helps increase dmg to ceramics and moab class so its beneficial. And spectre doesn't have permanent amd unlike neva miss targeting because it shoots too fast, and so you need mib for the super fast darts coming out and the missles so they can pop the black layer

Alright so Imagine if ISAB enables a mod that allows infinite tier 5s and he does BIG PLANE spam. Edit: I realize BIG PLANE costs too much, so I’m thinking of using a mod to make it cheaper and a mod that makes bloon/Moab HP much higher
