Virgin 0-2-5 Permaspike versus the Chad 3-2-0 Spiked Balls army: Virgin 0-2-5 Permaspike: - Doesn't pop leads, needs to rely on acid to pop anything but frozen bloons. - Complains whenever the rounds aren't anti-stalled long enough - Always relies on Maim MOAB to accumulate spikes - Used to be the single-most powerful upgrade in the game for its price, now downgraded to a plain Tier 5. - Difficult to use; phased out after players know Brickell. - Doesn't deal extra damage, only deals a plain 10 damage per spike. - "I need two discount villages to make me shoot super fast for 15 more seconds" - Sick of popping DDTs, would rather want to tank almost every round like he did when he was first released. - So tired that he decided to produce spikes super slowly. What a virgin move to be so complacent. Chad 3-2-0 Spiked Balls army: - Deals huge damage versus Ceramics and decent damage to all other bloon types. One 3-2-0 Spiked Balls alone can tank up an entire MOAB easily, even a Fortified MOAB. - Chugs out many balls at once with a quick rate. - Low-cost but deals big damage across all stages in the game. - Can be discounted to save you more money. - Can pop DDTs, doesn't even care if DDTs get past one Spiked Balls, teamwork can destroy DDTs with enough of them. Teamwork always wins, a chad move especially for in a tower defense game. - Uses Alchemist brews to the maximum power, doesn't waste its true brewing potential, only uses the true power of Alchemist brews like Thad Sub Commander army. - Doesn't do extra damage versus MOAB-class bloons, but it just shreds them easily anyways.

I've used spiked balls in a recent challenge I made and holy shit It was a 5k tower that ate up like 7 ddts

I actually made a challenge where you have to beat full camo round 78 and the solution to it is spiked mines, while I made a similar one with 250% hp camo ceramics and tacks blocked where the solution is spiked mines aswell

i imagine spamming maulers and spiked balls would be a pretty good combo with this update!

I can't believe it that Ninja Kiwi buffed Spiked Balls because now it does double damage to ceramic bloon and spamming a lot of spiked balls and with alchemist buff and pat ability it will do so much damage! Teamwork for the win!

and here I am, being the fool with 0-2-4 spam

I want a melee tower (non-hero) with a shield that can hold up to 20 bloons, but 21 will knock him down for a second. His x5x skill lets him hold MOAB or higher for up to 5 seconds, but clumping DDTs isn't a good strategy. The top path just gives him insane mob dmg, the middle is shield stuff, and the bottom path increases his range with xx5 giving him decent dps and full map mobility with very fast movement speed. You could spam a bunch of him and try to rival Wall of Fire. He can be placed on or off the track, but not in water without a raft. I want melee soooo bad.

Do you live somewhere really far from Canada or do you just not sleep?

Can't tell for sure because I haven't tried it yet and my only examples of spiked balls strategies are this and a reddit post for a workshop strat, but spiked balls spam seems more balanced than mauler spam. The strategy seems more focused on support than spamming more of the tower, and it has a definite weakness of early round rushes.

Why was the faster throwing upgrade for the alch a tier 2 instead of tier 1?

I believe they nerfed the Tier 5 top path upgrade for Spike Factory, because it used to damage BAD Balloons so fast, but not much anymore now.

great to see this upgrade getting buffed (did that happen in 18.0? i don't really remember), especially since it was quite mediocre in BTD5 (just like most of the towers in that game tbh)

when you use the pat ability, does it make the spactory make double damage balls that do double damage as long as they are alive or does it make all existing balls that have been spawned my that spactory do double damage for the duration of the ability? thaks isab.

Me and my friend were playing co op and we had a 0 2 5 glue gunner and we were gonna lose and some how the glue gunner shot at the very end of the map and it got the ddts from the bad and we lived can you explain that?
