Have to agree with just about every critique. I kept thinking back to how much better SWG did buildings and crafting and theres just no excuse for a game 20 odd years later to be so utterly devoid of joy.
Got to say Nap, I'm typically parallel with your reviews but but I honestly couldn't disagree with you more on this one. I mean, your points thought out are well stated as always, but at the end of day I just think this game is fun and ranks right up there with a lot of great games that out right now. Sure I'm gonna catch some flak for saying , I like it way more than Skyrim. Regardless, it was a good review even though I completely disagree with you on just about every point . Still luv ya buddy.
Went back to play cyberpunk since it got updated and man what a difference even on launch it really makes you appreciate what CD did with it. Starfield is so bland lifeless and dull. It feels like every character was AI written no soul to it no grit nothing. I heard one reviewer say that with cyberpunk people like that edginess to it people want that in todays world starfield plays everything safe instead of trying to push boundaries
Downloaded Cyberpunk and looking forward to heading back in! Did you go from the beginning with a new character or pickup where you left off. Agreed, the characters in Cyberpunk are generally really strong and feel more real than those found in Starfield.
12:04 You said there was a decent range of weapons and you can mod all of them. Unfortunately you cant mod melee weapons which is such a shame. And the melee weapons are all pretty lame. Where are all the future looking weapons? I guess I'll have to wait for mods to get a lightsaber.
Starfield has no immersion...no exploration...horrible writing, deplorable voice direction, mediocre music, a load screen and cut scene generator AND no soul. Don't waste your money. Or at the very least, wait until autumn 2024 for updates and fixes along with the modding community to hopefully give us what Bethesda promised.
I gotta establish this first. I clicked video and immediately paused. That thumbnail screams " im edgy and need to show everyone how much this game SUCKS" Which is bizarre because last i saw it had upwards of 10 million active players. I blame it on the tik tok brainrot hive mind that has everyone mentally stunted 😅 Cant play long enough to stay entertained? Ooouuu Thats just too damm bad lmao
