Is Stormbringer Ele Shaman Any Good? | Full Delve Playtest!

Lightning raining from the sky is visually satisfying Reminds me of the Inquisitor in SWTOR, which is peak class fantasy

I'm a tank player but always had a passing interest in shammy and this looks fun

The visuals are great - but man, I need them to give shaman the talent rework before I commit. Especially as enhancement. 😮‍💨

There was a cheese build that worked very well back in Nyalotha. Haste stacking lightning build. With the CDR of Storm Elemental, you were able to spam Lightning Bolts like you were a machine gun. I think this is the route Blizz is going but instead with procing overloads & lightning rods instead.

ugh man that looks so fun even though I don' t plan on playing war within. But great to see good lightning ele action, I always get so upset every time I feel forced to focus on fire/lava burst.

I don’t think they are going to let Tempest act like a lightneing bolt at this point

Looks like we are going to next 2 sets of gear again between the 2 hero trees, crit haste for stormbringer and mastery haste for the fire spec weve never gonna above 30% haste due to DRs

I noticed you kinda reiterated what you replied to me with before. I hope I didn't come across as rude when I commented on your Totemic video before. I am, actually, upset at the Totemic tree and the Shaman trees in general, but to you directly I didn't mean my criticism to be harsh. I just meant it just plainly that I just noticed an inconsistency. So I hope you didn't take it the wrong way and thanks for clarifying. Good video btw

It would be amazing to turn earthquake into a sort of thunderstorm. Still casting earthquake at this point just feels bad, i'd be fine with even just a visual rework to have the ground look electrified if they're concerned about a storm cloud cluterring the screen...

They only need to change for earthquake to be targetable. It's so annoying to place an on-ground-effect every single time

@ZucoWoW im weighing the pros and cons of ele blast vs earth shock. I personally love es, but isnt the idea of this hero tree to spend as much maelstrom as possible in order to get tempest quicker? With elemental blast being much more expensive, wouldnt that be the best way to go? Allowing us faster tempest procs? Plus it give us random stat buff on hit.

Looks more appealing than the Farseer Hero Build

Cmon blizz, work on Shaman and make it use less buttons and be fun. We need more defs and some mobility on enhancement. Change ES effect to a storm pool when Stormbringer, make those spenders skills more Thunder and less Earth

The ELEMENTAL shaman has been my eyegasm ans favorite power fantasy since wow released... but its history has been painful. I don't want to be hype for this hero spec, altho it looks like a dream, out of fear. Pls pour some love into ele shamen. :(

I have a feeling Tempest will receive a slight tweak. The hero talent tree in general is pretty nice, but it has some small frustration points that are easily fixed without really messing with the overall design. The interaction with lightning bolt specifically is just not very practical. Lightning Bolt becomes Tempest (1) after spending 400 Maelstrom (2) every 3 strikes of Awakening Storms[5RPPM] and Lightning Bolt get buffed [Stormkeeper] every 50 seconds by Rolling Thunder. These are THREE unique, separate instances of modifications to our main filler spell that are NOT tracked by anything in the game. That means we will need external resources (weakauras) to track each of these. This is not great. It would be better if Tempest was it's own spell with it's own cooldown or if it interacted with a different ability such as Lava Burst since Lava Burst, in this Lightning Based fantasy, does not have a high priority, and would also just be nice to have another button to press for that Big spell, rather than pressing the same button as the filler.

Damn, what a boring stuff. Elemental shamans look like classic graphics and effects compared to warlocks and mages. They still using the effects from Cata and WoD.
