Hi mate, just a quick question from a bloke less than 10 streets away from you! But do you know if medicals can be passed if someone has to be on testosterone therapy? Got put on it a few years ago but don't want them to think I'm injecting a bit of vitamin S just for fun. Not applying now as need to get back in shape but I'm still curious! Great content by the way
Oh really? Erm I’m not 100% sure, I would probably lean towards saying no as it will be difficult to keep you on the medication when your out in the field or on operations. Best thing to do is apply and see what happens if you get stuck give me a shout, sometimes it’s better to just get the ball rolling don’t worry about getting in shape, you can do that whilst your going through the medical process which takes around 3-6 months. Thanks mate, appreciate it!
@@VEMPsparta erm no, but you need to be at a certain level of Math and English before you leave training. You will do this as part of your training at Harrogate.
Hi, I am new to your channel, so I don't know if you have done a video on this or not, if not, could you do a video on the Royal Military Police as this is a route I am considering going down (well... that or Rifles). I would really appreciate it. Thanks
Hey Kyle! Is there any update on when the British Army would be opening doors for Commonwealth Citizens to apply? Also what would be the terms and conditions?
@@KyleSmithFIT That's exactly what I'm hoping for Because I'll turn 29 next October And 29 is the Age Limit for Regular Officers So if I begin the selection procedure in Dec 2022, I'll have 9 months for the procedure to complete by August 2023 And September 2023 is my target course at RMAS
I'm turning 15 at the end of the month and I want to start training for the army specifically to be an airborne combat engineer in the 23 parachute engineer regiment. I have been training strongman for a year and am quite strong (having won competitions and for example having a 105kg bench and a 190kg deadlift) how do you think I should start doing more cardio and fatloss to get fit enough for the army especially if I want to eventually do p coy. I'm currently 91kg bodyweight at 5'10 so quite fat but obviously still muscular and strong.
Just start of slow mate, 2-3 runs a week at a steady pace (a pace you could hold a conversation at) if you are struggling break into a walk and recover, then run again. Do this for 2-3 miles. Try not to kill yourself when starting because you will just resent running, take it easy and build a solid base before going for crazy speed workouts. Fat loss happens in the kitchen my friend, clean the diet up and with the Added cardio and weight training you should see some fat loss, I recommend tracking your food intake via an app like MyFitnessPal. Hope this helps
