Suicide Silence has had more than a few shifts in tone and sound. Some of it has been loved, some of it...not so much. I was VERY interested to hear Thinking in Tongues since so many people were telling me that it was a true return to form for the band. Eddie's performance is very strong here, and if you haven't heard it yet, I'm sure you'll enjoy it!

It’s definitely a great song but songs like Inherit the crown, Cease to Exist, You can’t stop me, Two Steps, Love me to death are absolute killer tracks. They got back to their old style on Become the Hunter.

Saw them do this song live back in November of ‘21 on their tour with Jinjer. Eddie’s highs were definitely MUCH louder than his mids and lows. Dude had crazy stamina the whole show

I feel it's unfair to hold Suicide Silence to the 3 albums that Mitch was on. I loved those albums a lot as well. But you have to view it as two different eras. Eddie has been around longer than Mitch at this point.

Can you do some The Black Dahlia Murder? Trevor Strnad was perhaps the most consistently good metal vocalist out there, and the band is hugely influential on a lot of modern deathcore bands. And Trevor passed away just a week ago. But as for Suicide Silence, I’ve accepted that they just aren’t a band that are gonna interest me that much any more. They had their moment for me with Mitch, and kickstarted my love of deathcore, but nothing since has quite grabbed me the same way. That said, this song is a cool throwback to their old style, it would be right at home on Black Crown or whatever that album was called.

Please do Ipabog: The Goring of a God by Dark Watch. The vocalist is a relatively popular RU-vidr, Austin Dickey, and he just released a one-take a few weeks ago. Song is chaotic and the vocals are just all over the place, in a good way of course Edit - Amaterasu: Iris Infernus would also be a great song to pick, same band. Has a great music video, as well

It's an impossible task for Eddie to live up to this band's legacy and it's unfortunate. SS will forever exist in Mitch's shadow. Solid performance from Eddie, but we will always be waiting for that Suicide Silence magic to kick back in - but it no longer exists. Sick song, sick performance, but because of the band name it doesn't meet the expectation we have.

Not even remotely. They made one heavier song that still gets absolutely eaten alive by todays top tier of deathcore. If that track dropped on SWW and didn't have the name suicide silence attached to it, It would be forgotten about within a day. They aren't even close to the top tier anymore.

That's pretty much my thoughts. Wow they can up with a song that sounds like something I'd hear in highschool. 🥱boring... Just trying to stay relevant and ride the bands name for as long as they can milk it. They are beating a dead horse. Idk suicide silence didn't hold vocal try outs atleast, instead of getting someone from a well known band to join a well known band.

After that the whole band fell apart and hasn’t been seen since. People in the band even said it wasn’t worth it because the whole bands name is tarnished…
