For a person who want to experience story i think being preferred(sub at least for month) its also good option you have access to all expansion, more characters slots, less restriction etc, in fact only annoying restriction is credit cap.
Lol, you can't wear higher quality gear if you don't keep your subscription that's absurd to me. It reminds me of Runescape and their "member items" and once you become f2p they all useless until you sub again
I'm glad it helped! I am not sure yet how much I want to dive into each class specifically, since I do not think I am the right person to ask for that. At least to begin with I would like to make more general guides that apply to all classes.
It hardly matters when they literally won't accept any form of payment for a subscription. If my money isn't good enough for them, then their game isn't good enough for me.
I always recommend too people that wanna get into the nitty gritty (crafting, pvp, large scale pve, all the stories etc.) to spend the $15 for what is essentially 8 Original and Fun Story Modes and Unlimited Online. He didn’t talk about the main reason to subscribe for only 1 month: Your status doesn’t go back down too F2P. It goes to a middle section called ‘Preferred’ which can be summarized as “Subscriber Lite”
I played since beta and i need to tell you you did better explaining a new guide then sworista not to down grade her but its a good look how the game really works keep goin and may the force always be with you.
If you enjoy the MMO side of SWTOR, it's pretty much a requirement. If you just want to have permanent access to all the currently available expansions, then it's very worth it. Otherwise it's not very worth it.
with bioware practically shifting it's development over to a 3rd party this game is basically in *maintenance mode* prefer to wait until a non-pr statement arrives
going to be bought by Broadsword Games -- hold off spending any money till you see if they actually get updates past 7.4 (7.3 is coming July the 13th -- wait .... )
Fornemmer lidt danglish ;-) Jeg er gammel swtor spiller men overvejer at spille igen F2P efter et par siden. VIl du være interesseret i at spille sammen eller blot give gode råd in-game?
That is a great question! My answer is yes and no. No you don't permanently unlock all races just by subscribing, but there is a way you can do that while you are subscribed. If you have a character of a specific species, you can unlock that species by getting that character to level 50 I believe. This means that you can create a character with each species you would like to unlock while you are subscribed, and then during or after your sub has run out get them to level 50 and you will unlock it. You could also unlock it through the legacy tab for 1.5 mil credits each. I think I should make a video guide on this, since it is a really good question Linus.
@@Lacirous Thank you for a thorough answer, that is exactly what I needed to know! I have been F2P since last summer and really want to play the expansions and unlock every race but not be subscribed in the long run so these methods are perfect. Thank you!
if you like the game subscribe if not then don't play it, keep in mind this game isn't really free, the people behind it and the company needs money to run the game or update it.... seriously you can afford a pc and internet but not a subscription... well unless your a kid i cant blame you.... could do dads job in house for subscription :)
You speak from the easy living perspective of an USA citizen or an European one. Not all countries use dollars or euro as currency, so that subscription could be a lot of money
