Phase 6 Tabora to the boarder of Burundi which will later on be connected to Burundi, Rwanda, Congo etc. The railway opens the central corridor which now has 13 member countries all of which are expected to be connected to the railway in the near future. Some of them like Rwanda and Burundi are nearly completion of the conception phase of the project now are searching for funds.
Priority should be to the Southern (TAZARA) Corridor which can transform Tz into a higher middle income status in a decade. Never the largelly semi arid central Corridor. Suffice to compare the Dar Undulating traffic density vs Dar Kigoma traffic density.
