Thank you for this video. I have order fishing product from temu and have been happy with 98% of it. My thing is this. I am not a pro fisherman or someone who fish in tournaments. So, I don't feel the need to spend $100 + on a reel and rod. Or $20 on a lure. The price comparison is mind blowing.
I'm a solo father and we're on a budget- bought a setup on Temu to take my son fishing. It's better gear than what I had in the 70s... I don't have an issue buying direct to save momey and cut Walmart out of the loop.
Nice video! Thanks for sharing my friend. I've never ordered anything from Temu because I've just felt like the items as far as bass fishing were just too cheap looking. However, when it comes to panfish/trout, I can see now that you can get lots of things that are well worth it. And who knows, maybe I'm mistaken about the supplies for bass fishing. I think I'm just going to take a chance and try them. Happy 4th to you and your family my friend! Appreciate what you do! As always, #RockyRidgeOutdoors rocks!!!
A thing I've learned over the years in fishing. Sometimes it's worth slinging something no one else is slinging and sometimes there's a reason why they aren't slinging it.
@@rockyridgeoutdoors yeah im looking out for the reel review. I looked for a few seconds and honestly didn’t focus too much onto it. Many reels are sold at retail price even if it says it’s discounted, just some marketing tricks to make you feel like you got a good deal.
I've been using Temu for a while now. The lures and fishing tackle are great! I rather pay Temu than the big box stores. Most of our lures made in china and repackaged anyways.
i buy stuff for fishing at temu had more luck with there stuff then retail stores and saved alot of money. and alot of there reels are very nice quality. and im an fishing addict living in almost heaven west virgina!
Thank you for this... I'm a retread angler, recently started back, and I look forward to seeing more of your videos. Subscribed because I like your style.
You got a lot of stuff and don't break the bank doing it. Me and my brother have been getting a few things off Temu including a few spinning reels. We both like the stuff we have gotten but know the stuff won't be on the highest end but we know that and are more than fine with it. For the price we paid even if something don't work it won't bother us as again the price were paying we have nothing to complain about.
Hi young fellow I have been buying temu fishing baits for quite a while now they work just as well as the more expensive stuff I have some time's even better regards Terry in Australia
Hello Terry, welcome from Australia, glad to here, I just wanted to show people that they can fish cheaper, stuff is getting so exspensive here, they can not fish or anything, I was pleased with temu and have a very big order coming this weekend. I will do another video on the reels.
My only suggestion is if you do buy plastic baits from temu use an attractant or water wash them a few times before you pitch them. I’ve bought three or four packs of plastic craws.. the detail is amazing but they smell like a chemical plant.
@@rockyridgeoutdoors I just use regular garlic powder, a table spoon of Morton’s table salt, and put them in one of those traveler shampoo bottles from Walmart. Give it a good shake and add a few drops. Leaves a nice slick on the water and I would compare it to “BANG” brand sprayable.
Yes I decided to give it a try and was pleased, made a bigger order with more stuff should be in this week and will do another video for the fishing addicts, but I was pleased.
No, don't convert to imperial units based on old kings bodyparts. Use metric like most of the world. They said Brits are conservatives, but Americans are on another level. 😂
