Fun fact about Nigredo. While she is kind and loving, that kindness only extends to babies. She genuinely loves babies and thinks the world of them, but once they can't be concidered a baby anymore she'll be more than happy to kill them. That's why Pestonya added on that it's not just babies that have value, because Nigredo didn't give a shit about the toddlers and above, she just wanted it known that 3 year olds and below are surely worth saving.

Nigredo, Pestonia and Sebas are some of the few good aligned characters in all of Nazarick. Nigredo was originally like a mirror to Albedo in personality and looks, remember that Momonga removed the "bitch" part of Albedo's original description back in episode 1 of season 1. Nigredo was almost certainly cut from her appearance in season 1 due to her low impact on the story until now. The third sister, Rubedo, has basically just been mentioned in the LN but she has not yet done anything on the pages. Their creator Tabula Smaragdina was a fan of stark contrast between personality and physical appearance, hence the grotesque look and caring personality of Nigredo.

Albedo = beauty outside, evil inside. Nigredo = the opposite of albedo

Although not shown, Azuth was mentioned in Season 1. Clementine named him as one of the people who could fight her.

It is not shown in the anime, but AInz has heard of Vermillion Drop or Drop of Red from Sebas' Information gathering. Ainz kinda expected him to show up, but he wasnt sure when exactly. The city that was being attacked is near where Vermillion Drop is usually active.

Overlord is heavily based on DnD, so you could play Neverwinter Nights or for something more modern Baldursgate 3.

Nigredo had to appear in the first season 😅 but she was omitted in a very horrible way, in fact she is the one who looked for Shalltear in that "waiting" state when she was attacked and yes, she is good, she would be one of the few Nazarik NPCs that If he ran into a human, he would not kill him (only if he did not have it ordered by Ainz, since then he would do it without thinking about it)

Albedo has a little sister as well. But she's only been mentioned in the light novels. Apparently, she's so powerful that she's basically sealed away. The speculation is that she was created with the use of a world item. She's apparently such a threat that nobody in Nazarick could stop her. Not even Ainz and all the guardians working together.

Overlord has platformer released on steam. And a mobile game, but the english version has stopped support.

In Yggdrassil (the game world) there were futuristic things too, one of the maid is literally an android with a futuristic machine gun as a weapon. The death knights are not that strong either since they are simply lvl 35, in fact several characters have already appeared in the series that could defeat them.🤓

Wait till you hear about Rubedo! Regarding Nigredo, remember that the NPCs creators had a thing for contradiction. Outer beauty ugly inwards, disgusting face yet inner beauty.
