We took out an Estima to see if it's any good for 2020. ----- Looking for a car? Find it at: Motors Confidence (M) Sdn Bhd (Import Car) Lot 3470, Jalan SS 23/15, Taman Sea, 47300 Petaling Jaya, Selangor
I've been using a 2009 ACR50 since 2013 and it has been a superb, reliable & robust family MPV. Love the space & timeless design. Currently at 190k km and looking forward to use it until 300k km. Toyota engineering at its best!
I have 2006 toyota estima aeras model and absolutely love it, purchased it a year ago in Australia only trouble it has given me was the power steering not cheap to fix hoping i can upgrade to 2015 model if they ever get imported to Australia as there's only up to 2011 models they are nice to drive and look nice very comfortable for the family and driver as well, haven't changed the stereo system so still all Japanese but that's the next project i'm hoping to do.
@@omz121 jumping in to this comment here lol, i paid $13,000 for mine it was originally $16,990 but i offered $13,000 they had it priced down to 14,990. Car drives well, not a single problem with it except for my power steering not a cheap fix either.
That infotainment system.. can you give more details please? I want to put one in my Estima but not sure what to search for there are so many. Looks like a tablet instead of a replacement head unit, is that correct? What brand/model is it? - thanks so much, awesome review btw. I have a 2006 Estima GSR50, even older than the one you review and its effortless, never goes wrong and its a beautiful car
Brilliant just a question do you know where the cigarette lighter fuse is in this also do u know where is the auto parking button in this? I have a 2013 model but not g edition? Thanks
Estima mmg worth buying utk yg nk save budget from buying her brother velfire and the other mpv. The engine as we know toyota got the most durable engine and realible engine bcs of the quality and low cost maintanance. For daily drive or long drive absolutly very exellent for those wo have many falimy members😄
sy ada plan nak beli estima second hand.. maybe yg tahun 2009 punya.. okay ke?? dr segi harga and maintanance okay ke?? first time nak pkai estima.. mohon pencerahan.. 😊
Hi considering a estima in uk around 2010-2014prefer 3.5 but don’t seem to many available on those years.I have mobility issues they seem a good height..for accessing higher than a car but not as high as alphard, vellfire etc..would love to hear from owners Thank you
Thanks guys. I love tge car already but if i buy a 2014 model in the uk. Kindly advice me. I like the space it works for my family but whats the fuel consumption and maintenance like in the Uk
i got an 06 aeras 3.5 v6 it doesn't use a drop of oil, my mate has a 06 2.4 4cyl. it smokes alot. go for the v6 - a bit more gas but you wont regret it comfortable and powerful really smooth on the highway
W. K. I suppose you’re looking for those recond unit. From 2016 onwards it’s all facelifted, so a 2.4L is suffice. Spec wise, Aeras/ Aeras Premium is good.
Nope, those model before 2012 was basic front and rear disc brake, abs and dual airbags. Better stick with model before 2012 if you wanna prevent your wallet burning. You only need you standby replacing balance shaft and bearing every 80K to 100K. Not cheap to maintain but average this is the best class of MPV, more economical than Alphard and better aerodynamic.
Hi, Wayne / Rodney, l just want to ask you favour. Please l want to buy estima for my Taxi please can you tell me which model is the best to buy please am talking about nice shape? And estima and hifire which one is far better hope to hear from you soon Clelant thanks.
Thanks for the review. I am considering getting this car for my wife so safety is paramount. Does this 2011 model has auto emergency braking, lane departure warning or adaptive cruise control?
@@abumaleeha1 Nope from mine as well. Don't look for too advanced model. Mine was Estima X variant 2008 manufactured in japan, lowest spec, single left side power door and all non-electrical seat manual like van.
@@ericchan4793 iv just recently got a 2009 model with the lane keep assist and radar. The lka feature isn't good. It's like the driver is drunk as steering keeps going side to side lol Leathers heated seats and boot seats have electrical operating Only one iv seen that has the radar feature and lka.
You can’t buy the original factory ones. But over here in malaysia, we’re mostly using an android touch screen player which replaces the Japanese speaking ones. It’s a tablet form.
Nice Guy depends on what are you comparing it to. If you’re looking from the point that this is a MPV then I will say the consumption for it is not high.
Hi, Just looking to import one of this to Ireland. The process seems to be very risky as many scammer in Japan. Any one can help where to look ??? Thanks
Hi your car is very nice I have your car and it is in perfect condition I really like it and I was just wondering how to change the language on the tablet from japanese to English. Can you please make a video on how to change the languages. Thank you
