I love Alphards and Vellfires. Yes definitely, the higher seating position will help to see the potholes on the road. The entry level price is good. Nice review guys.

Is the 2018 vellfire the new face-lift? Engine choices? Choices of awd, 4wd or 2WD(RWD)? It is a hybrid or PHEV? I want one but can't import it into Canada unless it's at least 15 years old.

If you’re going to occupy the 1st and second row, you can probably fit in 4 large luggages at the back (minimum).
