Is the 2020 Audi SQ5 a performance SUV that is WORTH the PRICE?

Joe, you've got to be the hardest working automotive reviewer on RU-vid. The amount of content you put out and the consistency in quality is quite frankly staggering. I can easily see you crossing the 1 mil subscriber mark in no time, and you'll deserve every bit of that success. Love the channel, and love this review. I've owned quite a few Audis, including a 2010 S4 and 2015 Q5 TDI with its monstrous 428 lb-ft of torque, and I love how fast and competent these things feel, though I will admit that they lack some of the drama of other fast Euro sedans. Keep up the great work!

Joe: Our ‘19 SQ5 middle screen is where Apple Car Play or Android Auto function. Google Earth using Audi Connect on the main screen is fun. Excellent all rounder. Not as quick or sharp handling as some but such a complete satisfying package.

Took the SQ5 as a loaner, it is very cool. The wife went with the Q7 with the adaptive suspension and the same motor with the mild hybrid system. We just got it yesterday, actually, not as fast but much larger and more comfortable.

Hey Joe. Could you discuss how Audi stamps the most intense cuts, lines, styling creases, folds and 37 other different artistic body lines on all Audi products. How much sheet mëtal is actually made of Mëtal vs Aluminium? ...Say on the new A6? These artistic styling elements make Audi’s & VW’s lineup really stand out from the crowd. The stamping machines that pop out a fender from a flat piece of steel or aluminum is truly mind blowing. I bet 70% of your rabid fans don’t know how it’s done. You could toss in some B-Roll so we can actually see how these machines work. I think a lot of people would really be into that. Just an idea. One more thing: A few days ago you did a video thanking the people for 250K SUBS. Less than a week later you picked up 10K MORE Subs and now sit on 260. Don you remember how long it took you to grind out your 1st 10K!!??? That was a serious grind. You had blood 🩸 coming out of your nose and the Alcantara in that .....car will never be the same. Anyhoo you now pick up 10K while sleeping. Again, it can never be forgotten how you got here. Hard Work & Laurie. 300K by July..... I bet you have this thing graphed out and can predict when you will hit One Million Subs. How do you sleep at night? You are literally living the dream! I’m happy to watch the dream unfold. Audi might have to put out a special edition Raiti’s Rides A6 complete with Twinkies, M&M’s, Moutain Dew Red in each door pocket. And a phat syringe 💉 of Insulin in the center council.

With the wagon segment making 1.4% of all automotive sales, with Subaru leading the ways as Volvo trails, you think wagons will make a comeback now? Especially with Toyota getting a pending patent for a new wagon/crossover variant.

Worth it....especially after I've finished a nice Mongolian beef dinner at PF Chang's at the Tampa mall international plaza and get hit with a massive rain storm as I'm on the 275 driving on the bridge to St Pete to have evening drinks at the Don CeSar. That Quattro system sure comes in handy.

agreed joe...major zonk on the fake exhaust...especially for an “S”...Audi has such clean design and then they muck it up with that on a lot of their models now...to me it’s a deal breaker!

How is the rear visibility? I like to be able to lookup at my rear view mirror and see what is going on behind me rather than use a camera.

So why does a 2019 premium plus have front ventilated/heated seats with rear heated seats and this sq5 does not? Yes, bigger motor with a sq5, but I love the features of my Q5. I do however look forward to the day I upgrade to a Q8, they are beautiful!

This one looks just like my used SQ5 that I picked up! The AutoNation dealer only gave me 1 key though - and a new one is $ 350 + $ 150 for programming from Audi! Ugh...

That screen looks terrible for a 66k car in 2020, it looks like an aftermarket add on with the huge bezels

Pop the hood and see a big VW AG sticker.

For this SQ5 to be worth 66K, it needs a twin turbo V6, a 0-60 time of 4.2 seconds or lower, real exhaust, a better and larger infotainment system, a really nice sound system, heated, ventilated, and massaging seats for both front and rear passengers, and 2 tvs for the rear passengers, with headphones.
