Hey Joe, Just wanted to say thank you. I discovered your channel a few days ago while quarantining at home and your videos have made me forget everything that’s going on in the world. Such great content and really making sure the love of cars is still alive. Keep it up and I’m excited for all the future content.
I enjoy Raiti's review videos the most, Lol! Love how you pick up "fine details", like this trim here or these lines here. And I learn alot too! Never knew about the "4 German brands uniting" to make Audi. And also more "technical" stuff. Keep up the great work! Your videos are now my FIRST source when considering cars :)
Joe, Audi is doing what Volvo has been doing for a while with the gasoline and electric motors, it’s cool but I’d never buy these engines, if anything these are probably best leasing. Just would become too expensive past the warranty. Side note thank you for still delivering content during this pandemic. Be safe and take care!
Hey Raiti if you had to choose between the Camaro RS V6 1LE, Mustang Ecoboost HPP, or Challenger GT which would you choose as a daily driver? And love the vids 👌🏽
Subscriber here. Enjoy your channel very much. Love your review of the Q5e. I do have a few questions on the Q5e - I don't remember if it was addressed in your video but if u did and I missed it, my sincere apologies. Here goes: 1) What is the EV range for the Q5e? 2) What is the estimated charging time from empty to full charge using the provided charging cable? 3) Is there an option for DC charging? 4) Is there a spare tire underneath the trunk? Thanks!
1) 14.1 kWh battery so real world is saying about 30 miles in decent climates 2) on the level 2 charger, it’s 2.5 hours. Level 1 chargers, it’s about 1 mile/hour 4) no spare because battery is located there
Went to local dealership and test drive Q5E SQ5 and Q8 in a row. Q5E impressed me a lot. I was thinking SQ5 now I am not so sure anymore. 6715 tax credit also bring the cost down. Man, tough choice between the two
New subscriber here. Love the energy and knowledge you bring. Awesome reviews. I always make sure Joe doesn’t have a review of a vehicle I’m interested in before I look elsewhere. Sorry I haven’t subscribed sooner!
Is there a SQ5E in the lineup? On the Q7 or 8 does it come equipped with that anti roll bar? That's not the technical name for it. I understand it limits the rolling as you turn conners. Joe you are anointed and appointed for that what you are doing! Thanks for the superb vids!
As a Q5 owner, I love this, but I'd probably hold off until a redesign or more of an 'e-Tron' Q5, but I still stand by the quality of this car. Nice review, as always, Joe!
I'm an outlier here, but I still love the understated elegance of the 2018 Q5 model redesign interior dash. The touch screen on the 2021 is just enough "new tech" for me.
Hi Sir. May I ask u about this plug in hybrid please. I Myself confuse this kind vehicle how it works when you start engine and drive that both electric and gasoline start working together or optional ev or gasoline separate that produce 345hp? Thank you Sir
I test drove this car and it's definitely not worth the money. I would even say step up to the Etron. Yes, it's more expensive, but it's actually luxurious, a lot of tech inside and great performance. The Q5 lineup looks pretty regular from the outside, which is fine, but interior looks cheap and feels cheap. The ride is comfortable, but the steering is very light and numb regardless of which drive mode you have it set in. This car is a hard pass at near $60k. It doesn't really offer much more room than a sedan even if your reason is that you need more room.
JOE - me Tony, I'm going to the doctor today because I have some symptoms that could mean I have a virus. I'm not saying I have COVID19 but it's either gut or liver related because I started drinking again (due to stress) or it's an illness I'm not feeling too hot & I'm feeling worse the more time goes by. just in case I'm letting you know I really dig you, your crew, your channel & your posts. one of the few things in the day that make me really laugh interested & happy. I love you guys. stay mean, stay lean, stay young, your bother Tony
just looked at a 2020 an hour ago. lists - 80k - with incentives less than 70k. + there is a $7500 tax credit . its making the choice interesting. how far can one go on a charge ? > what watch are you sporting ? thanks be safe. ~ JDS/CT
56K$? thats really cheap compared to prices in Germany . Just had an offer for 84.237€ on my desk. Same car just some more options like black roof etc.
The only bad part is if you can afford over $50,000 for this Hybird then you can also afford the gas for a normal engine. If you need a hybird or electric car, Honda/ Toyota it the way to go! IMO lol
@@normt430 ... it was too bud for me as an empty nester. Bought the XC60 T8 Inscription white metallic with blonde interior. ❤️ it 👍🏻. It’s my second Volvo. I feel SAFE in it and being Swedish, it just appeals to my Swedish feelings of Lagom. (not too much. Not too little. Just enough)
The remote has a nice weight to it? As if that’s a good thing. The thing looks like a freaking TV remote I’m gonna have to stuff my pockets full of. in a time when other car manufactures are going keyless with cell phone access or credit card access. Audi has taken your grandmother’s TV remote, and added the ability to open your trunk with it
Spending so much money to get that nav because I want dynamic cruise control... and the nav is still in 2020 a piece of crap like most other carmakers... dumb as rocks when it comes to traffic data and routing around it.
Great platform for us, both me and spouse are retired who take short trips to the grocers and other errands, all of which are within the estimated 20+ electric miles available. A full recharge would take place back at the homestead. When we want to take a long road trip, we can utilizing the 2.0t's capability.
I would go with the hybrid everyday. It has more power, the same acceleration to 100 km/h and here where I live it costs 20k euro less than the sq5 lol
Hybrid cars are not designed to stay & doomed to fail. After all why carry two power train every where , pay two maintenance, pay for two fuels, two headaches only to achieve one objective !!! And yet damage environment as there is no Tomorrow...Total madness. I guess taxi drivers & those travelling more than 300 miles a day could benefit from Hybrid cars.
Welcome out from under your rock! Some us like the option to do daily driving all week on all battery. Then on a 3-day weekend can cover 1,000 miles without stopping at a gas station. Then back to battery through the week!
