Agree with blacking out the roof and color match door handles. With that being said this is one sexy machine. Great stats for a turbo 4cyl. A lot of options out there that fall under that $70k mark but they won't have that logo on the grill. So to me it comes down to how much the brand means to you. Great review as always

Keep in mind it is a CLA but the AMG version. Yes it cost more because of the performance it provides, but technically the CLA is a lower model than a C Class where adaptive cruise control is standard.
Every top performance AMG model supposed by standard consider its over $60k USD. Over here in Australia every top AMG model come with adaptive cruise control especially cla45s costing over $120,000AUD
I want this car badly but in Canada I don’t see many of them used I wanted to find used one maybe 2 years old 2020 or 3 years old with low km maybe 45k or 50k Canadian but hard to find
This is a great video, especially like that it's thorough from outside to inside... I use to rent a cla 250 from a rental car company over 4 months actually had 4+ cars in 3 different colors. I love the fact it can either be driven slow, smooth and comfortable or tight and quick just via a few selections plus you get steering paddles for instant power and manual shifting. Been waiting to find the right deal on a higher performance 45 S AMG, which has even more options and racing mode plus allows to switch from all wheel to just front wheel drive even a drift mode which the regular 45 Amg doesn't have... The Sport 45 AMG costs more but is well worth the wait in fact looking at a gla until a Sport AMG 45S is obtainable.
A lot better than the 🐽 front end of the M440i you reviewed recently. Thanks Joe for making it easy which one I would choose if price difference is around $5k between the 2.

Buy the new S3 and tune it to stage 2+ for a fraction of the cost of a CLA45, and a more reliable engine/setup. The interior in the new CLA45 is a bit better but the gloss black and creaking everywhere is not my cup of tea.

Strange you don't have the more powerful version in the US, the A45s, with 310kw(415 hp)of power and 500 nm(369 ft-lbs) of torque. I recently bought an A35 hatchback. The A45s in Australia is about $115,000 driveaway. Very, very expensive. :( Keep up the great work, I am enjoying you videos.
I was looking to buy a cla 45 AMG. What would you buy a c63 or a cla 45 AMG? Because I love V8 but if I can get a 4 banger with a turbo that has the same power I would get a 45. But I want your opinion.
the quality is better and nice design and so but you pay double the price for an old gen vehicle with old tech. 0 - 60 in 3.9 with 2.0l is nice. but still guys go buy tesla. by doing so you ll also support america! for the design its 100% worth it. but for the tech. nah... not so

Great Review, awesome car, my only zonk is the display looks like they just kinda laid a long tablet pc on the otherwise excellent finished dashboard. They’re not the only company that does the IPad stuck on the dash look and I hope car companies find a good way out of that look.

If this car has the best 2 litter engine then y civic type r is considered the fastest 2 litter car???? Answer is simple coz civic is faster car. Bens is more comfy but not fast enough
Is it a real AMG is the question? Mercedes is, in poor taste, putting AMG badges on everything.Even on undeserving cars. It goes beyond just a powerful engine.

Like Marlene Dietrich back in the day, with a nice container of German potato salad on her lap, or for safe keeping, wedged into that door pocket as that wily farty exhaust sings out back ;). I appreciate the simplicity and classic beauty of Mercedes' designs from top of the range to the bottom. Something BMW seems to have forgotten as they mutate into Bavarian Blobs lol. Dont care what anyone says.. $70k?? Seriously?!! Just not worth it. I understand it’s a beautiful piece of engineering. Definately desirable. But the way these companies got the balls to charge so much is straight up disrespectful. I’d rather the upcoming TLX Type-S with that good old Japanese reliability which will easily cost $10k-$15k cheaper.
